Every Piece of Over-the-Top Kardashian-Jenner Christmas Decor Through the Years

Merry Kristmas to All!

The Kardashian-Jenner family goes big for the holidays — like 20-foot tree, life-size glass polar bear, big.

Though the family has long been decking their halls in a major way, they’ve upped the ante year after year with more and taller trees, ginger bread mansions and extravagant light displays.

Here’s a look back at how the KarJenner clan has gone crazy for Christmas through the years.

Kylie Jenner, 2020

Kylie’s towering tree for 2020 is decidedly more classic than some of her past creations, though it’s not subtle in size! “It’s literally right at the ceiling,” she said of the 18-plus-foot fir. The ornaments are a mix of vintage pieces her family had on their tree when she was younger and new ones in the same style — including fun food-related baubles depicting a coffee cup, a stack of chocolate chip cookies, and a burger. “My mom used to put these on our tree every year, except I had to buy way more to fit this tree,” she explained with a laugh.

In her living room, Kylie hung her embroidered vintage stockings by the chimney with care. “I had these made for you,” Kris explains of the one bearing Kylie’s name, which she’s had since she was a little girl. The makeup mogul added a few more to her own mantel, including for her daughter with Travis Scott, Stormi, 2, as well as for Kris and Kris’s longtime boyfriend Corey Gamble. The seated Santa in all white is also a family heirloom. “I’ve had this since I was born,” Kylie says of Old Saint Nick.

Finally, she shared snapshot of a corner of Stormi’s room, which she decked out with a miniature pink faux tree that sits in front of her daughter’s picture book collection.

Kim Kardashian West, 2020

The KKW Beauty founder seems to be following in mom Kris’s holiday decorating footsteps and sticking with a handful of signature pieces she calls on each year. This classic evergreen is flocked (covered in fake snow) and has stood in this spot in the star’s Hidden Hills home, for the last several years. “Look how pretty,” Kim noted in a video showing off the all-white scene.

Another standout element filled with the spirit of Kardashian Christmases past is Kim’s forest of fluffy trees. “If you didn’t think I would bring back Whoville in the house,” the mother of four said, referring to the fictional town from Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas that many compared her fantastical sculptures when they made their debut at the family’s 2018 Christmas Eve party.

This year, Kardashian West’s kids joined in the fun for an impromptu game of hide-and-seek amid the trees.

It’s Kristmas time! The Kardashian-Jenner matriarch shared snapshots of her luxurious holiday decor to her Instagram Story featuring Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, who were invited over to her house for dinner. Teigen may be on the naughty list this year, as Jenner caught her stealing out of the stockings!

“A very Christmasy Malibu sunset!” wrote the reality star, sharing a snap of her well-decorated evergreen infront of a gorgeous purple and pink sky.

The Kardashian-Jenner family has never been one to skimp on Christmas decorations, and this year, the youngest Jenner pulled out all the stops when it came to the festive fir decorating her front foyer.

The 22-year-old makeup mogul shared a peek at the massive tree in her Hidden Hills home, which required a small team of people — at least four can be seen in the video — to help decorate and put up. The creative genius behind the snow-dusted, light-strung tree? Floral designer Jeff Leatham.

The young billionaire posed in front of her living room Christmas tree with family friend Fai Khadra before attending Sean “Diddy” Combs’ 50th birthday bash. In a Youtube vlog, Jenner says she bought the same Christmas ornaments her mom, Kris Jenner, used to decorate her childhood tree with, using them to decorate her own.

The makeup mogul also decked out the Kylie Cosmetics office reception area with a neon pink Christmas tree trimmed with baby pink bulbs.

Kim Kardashian West, 2019

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared a series of photos she took in front of the monochromatic, sculptural trees adorning the hallways of the West family’s mansion. The all-white Christmas decor matches the home’s minimalist aesthetic.

The nontraditional decor, made of soft, plush fabric were also on display in 2019. The sculptures are the work of Australian contemporary artist Kathy Temin. An event designer familiar with her work estimated they came with “a price tag of at least $10,000 each.”

“I love these. They’re so whimsical, like Whoville, but all white,” Kim said.

Keeping with the spare, monochromatic white theme, Kim opted for a snow-covered faux fir to decorate her and Kanye’s home. “It’s so pretty,” she said while showing off the tree outfitted with white string lights in an Instagram video.

Khloe Kardashian, 2019

The Kardashian’s go-to designer, Jeff Leatham, strikes again! The Good American founder shared this snap of her newest pink, white and red Christmas tree, tagging Leatham in the caption. In the background, hanging stars can be seen illuminating the back terrace, above a dining table.

Khloe kicked off the trimming in 2019 — with help from her daughter True!

The Good American designer revealed the first bit of Christmas decor that made it into her home: a bright pink faux fir, courtesy of the Christmas-loving family’s go-to holiday decorator, Jeff Leatham. “We starting decorating our house yesterday and @jeffleatham surprised True with this beautiful pink tree. It’s safe to say that True loves it!!! Thankful and blessed beyond words!” Kardashian wrote alongside the adorable snapshot showing True seemingly giving the tree a smooch.

Kourtney Kardashian, 2018

The reality star turned her home into the North Pole this season with five trees, a massive pile of presents and two polar bear statues (similar to her mom, Kris’s!). She asked her followers to weigh in on the color scheme of her decor in an Instagram video, writing, “with our without the red?” in reference to the ball ornaments that decorated one of the three trees in her entryway.

For her first Christmas with baby Stormi, the new mom, then 21, went for solid gold. Her metallic tree is seemingly the same height as the previous year’s holiday centerpiece: 20 feet!

“Gold is the theme this year,” she captioned a video of the tree, with Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You” serving as the soundtrack. The towering conifer features gold branches, a variety of gold ball ornaments, countless glowing lights and even a gold-wrapped stand.

Kris Jenner, 2017

Last year, Jenner opted for a rainbow-theme display and chose to feature four smaller trees as opposed to her previous peppermint-inspired giant. She also didn’t limit herself to her entryway: Daughter Kim Kardashian West gave a tour of her mom’s outdoor holiday scene, which included giant nutcrackers lining the path to the front door.

Kourtney’s real Christmas secret weapon is surprisingly inexpensive, but she still amped it up in 2017 with giant gold ornaments and trees in each of her three kids’ rooms, as well as her own.

The youngest KarJenner sibling may be the biggest fan of the holiday season. In 2017, she put up a 20-foot-tall snow-covered tree decked out in giant pink balls. “Thank you @jeffleatham & his team for making my XMAS dreams come true! 20 feet of magic! Even more perfect in real life … ,” she wrote in her Instagram caption, paying tribute to her personal Christmas elf, Leatham, who is the artistic director of the Four Seasons hotel in Beverly Hills and ex husband of actor Colton Haynes.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star also shared a behind-the-scenes peek at the many bins of metallic ornaments she used to outfit her evergreens. “Decorating day,” she captioned a photo on Instagram, before revealing the glamorous final product in a glowing, close-up shot.

The mogul’s best friend Jonathan Cheban was the one to reveal Kim and Kanye’s massive, monochromatic tree in 2016. “Oh my God Kim, this tree is huge,” Cheban said in a snapchat video documenting the fabulous fir. “It’s literally Rockefeller Center in Bel Air.”

Kris Jenner, 2016

Momager Kris hosts an annual Christmas Eve party at her Calabasas, California, home and her decor has to live up to the hype of the star-studded fete. Last year, Jenner called on Leatham to outfit the space in a “Kandyland chic” theme complete with peppermint-inspired ornaments on a massive tree and a life-size metal and glass polar bear guarding the staircase.

“One of the fun things is just deciding on what the theme of the tree is going to be because that sets the tone for the entire house,” Jenner told Architectural Digest of the elaborate process.

Kendall Jenner, 2016

To compliment her very pink living room, model Kendall chose a comparatively modest, faux snow-covered tree. The white branches, created with a spray-on process called flocking, are popular with the whole family, who are guaranteed a green Christmas in Southern California.

Kourtney Kardashian, 2016

Why have one Christmas tree when you can have six? Last holiday season, the mom of three put up a small forest of evergreens in her home, including two in the soaring entry and one in each of her children’s bedrooms.

“Christmas morning takes place at my house and my entire family comes here, so I also have the responsibility to make it special for all of them, and I love doing it!” she explained in a post on her app.

The cosmetics maven also documented another over-the-top Christmas installation in her home — a gingerbread mansion, decorated with the names of her then-boyfriend Tyga, his son King Cairo, and Kylie’s beloved dogs Bambi, Norman, Ernesto and Penny.

Kris Jenner, 2015

A glimpse back at her 2015 tree, reveals the mom of 6 recycled her peppermint-themed ornaments in 2016. They make an equally over-the-top impact in their original installation, which includes two smaller trees flanking the star fir and a garland winding up the double staircases.

The same year, Kourtney showed she didn’t mess with a formula that was working its Christmas magic — the double trees in the entry from 2016, also turn up here.

Kourtney also revealed she may have been the originator of the gingerbread mansion trend. One year before Kylie’s impressive construction, the eldest Kardashian sister showed off a cookie home with the caption, “Someone has been licking the house.”

In her first home of her own, a then 18-year-old Kylie showed a glimpse of the Christmas maven she was born to become, sharing a snap of her fluffy tree outfitted with just a few metallic ornaments and some glitter.

Kris Jenner, 2014

Kris’s holiday party likely set her girls’ forthcoming fever in motion. Way back in 2014, Kendall posted a photo of her mom’s impressive entry, including life-size nutcrackers and swags of greenery, all leading to her holiday centerpiece.
