Houseplants need the correct conditions in order to survive and thrive.
Some of these include receiving plenty of light and water every day.
The usual rule of thumb is if your houseplant’s soil is a little dry, give it a little water to quench its thirst.

Oats can be used on your houseplants when they are wilting or looking a little lacklustre.
All you need to do is add two tablespoons of dried oats around the soil of your plants once a month.
You will see immediate results as the plants will perk up.
As for cinnamon, sprinkle the ingredient once again on the plant’s soil.
Not only will cinnamon encourage the plant’s growth but it can also prevent it from diseases.
Cinnamon is anti-fungal and it can be used to make an anti-fungal foliar spray to prevent rust or other fungi spreading to healthy plants.
Make a foliar spray by using powdered cinnamon and hot water.
Put the mixture in a bottle and simply spray your plants, getting the underside of their leaves too.
Cinnamon also stops bugs from eating your outdoor plants and flowers, and even discourages rabbits and mice from coming too close to your plants.
The volatile oils in cinnamon confuse the scent instinct of animals that are low to the ground, causing them to avoid an area.
As for indoor plants, some of them can encounter problems with spider mites.
However, cinnamon kills the insects and stops them from spreading on other plants and in your greenhouse.
Once again, simply sprinkle cinnamon on a plant’s soil or on its leaves.
