Alf (Ray Meagher), Roo (Georgie Parker) and Marilyn (Emily Symons) have recently had their worlds turned upside down with the discovery that a man identical to the recently deceased Evan (Cameron Daddo) – Ryder’s (Lukas Radovich) long-lost father – has been wandering around the Bay.
To begin with, Roo was convinced she was having visions and going mad, but Marilyn convinced her to hold a seance by saying there must be a reason Evan was appearing to her. When ‘Evan’ walked through the door, it gave both of them quite the fright!
However, when everyone sat down – Alf and Ryder having brought the doppelganger home to find out more – it was revealed that ‘Evan’ was actually Owen (Cameron Daddo), a man who works in finance but felt a strange pull to the Bay in recent weeks.
Insistent that Owen must be connected to Evan in some way, Ryder insisted that Evan stay in the Bay while they unravel the mystery. Owen goes to stay in the caravan park and orders some information which is bound to solve the puzzle…
One morning, Roo awkwardly bumps into Owen, but he’s got mail – and up at the house, he goes to find her again with Alf. He reveals to them that he has discovered he’s the long lost twin of Evan – the two were separated at birth. How will the family cope with the news – especially Ryder, now that he suddenly has an uncle who looks exactly like his late father?
