Justin’s (James Stewart) behaviour has recently reached a new low as his painkiller addiction continues, with the mechanic shop owner becoming paranoid over Leah’s (Ada Nicodemou) friendship with newcomer Stephen (Bren Foster) and reacting by beating the guy to a pulp.
After a hospitalised Stephen reveals Justin was the attacker, nobody is happy to see Justin when he shows up at the beach where everyone is watching the police recover the dead body. John (Shane Withington) tells him to stay away and Justin rudely tells him the situation doesn’t involve him.
He tries to speak with Leah, but he continues to avoid taking responsibility and tells her that Stephen was getting too close to her – it was tearing him apart. While Leah forgives him, she tells him that he’s got a long way to go.
Justin tries to make amends for his actions and goes to find Mia (Anna Samson) in the gym, who is wary but listens to his apology about the other day. However, Tane (Ethan Browne) takes the opportunity to pull Justin to one side so he can make himself clear.
He tells Justin that if he ever talks to Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) in a threatening way again, scares her or makes her feel unsafe, he will come for him.
Will Justin heed the warning or react aggressively yet again?
