Amanda Kloots

The star, who tragically lost husband Nick Cordero to COVID-19 this year, decided to put up her decor early to try to bring light into a dark time.

“I knew this might be a hard thing to do so I chose to make it joyful with my brother,” she wrote on Instagram. “I decided not to question anything this year. I hung every sentimental ornament and all our stockings. Some of it doesn’t make any sense at all, but it’s ok.”

She added that she expects the holidays will be very challenging, saying “I’ll miss [Nick] every step of the way. But, I will celebrate, smile and find the joy as much as I can along the way for me and for [our son] Elvis.”
