ARSENAL powered up the table to third in the Premier League after a 1-0 win at home to Bournemouth.
And it was David Luiz who scored the only goal of the match with his first notch for the club – but Reiss Nelson will not be heading away with the England U21s for the international break as he recovers from a knee problem.

AC MILAN are reportedly chasing Arsenal outcast Mohamed Elneny.
The Egyptian is currently out on loan at Besiktas – who are struggling in mid-table of the Turkish Super Lig.
Calciomercato claim Elneny is one name floating about the San Siro as Milan work out a way to halt their own poor start to the campaign.
KIERAN TIERNEY has revealed the toughest opponent he has ever faced – and Unai Emery put him there!
The Gunners boss was in charge of PSG when Kylian Mbappe tore Tierney's Celtic apart – the scoreline finishing 7-1 two years ago.
Speaking to the club YouTube, Tierney said: “He was so quick.
“It was actually Emery who the manager at the time and it was the toughest game I’ve ever played in my career, against Mbappe and Dani Alves down that side.”
MESUT OZIL is being left out by Unai Emery as the Spaniard believes that Dani Ceballos offers more as a creator for the Gunners.
The German World Cup winner was previously a key figure for Arsenal under Arsene Wenger but has seen his playing time diminish under Emery.
The Arsenal boss has favoured a 4-3-3 formation this season – and football.london claim that there is no natural role for Ozil within the system.
The 30-year-old has played just 142 minutes of football in all competitions this season.
FORMER Spurs midfielder Ronny Rosenthal has revealed he recommended Cristiano Ronaldo to Spurs as well as rival Arsenal.
He told The Athletic: “There are hundreds of players that if the clubs had listened… one of the ones I’ll never forget is Cristiano Ronaldo, who I saw because I was going a lot to Portugal at that time.’
“Ronaldo made his debut for Sporting Lisbon in August 2002, and I started watching him a month or so after that.
“I recommended him to Arsenal, Tottenham and others. But they didn’t follow it up.’
Starting anew. Jordyn Woods opened up about accepting and loving her figure after online bullies previously mocked her over her weight.
In a new tell-all YouTube video, Woods revealed that her appearance in a paparazzi photo from when she was a teenager sparked “comments” from trolls. She struggled to show the picture to viewers, referring to the experience as “the most heartbreaking thing to me ever.”
“I remember sitting in front of my computer reading it, and tears just started coming out of my eyes,” the model, 22, said on Wednesday, October 9. “I couldn’t understand how grown people could sit and pick apart a young girl — but that completely broke me. I knew I was unhappy with the way that I looked … That was my lowest point.”
The Boohoo designer said that “moment of being completely heartbroken about my appearance and about people’s comments actually shifted me to become the confident person that I am today.”
Woods noted that she “always grew up the bigger girl” and was “the taller one” among her friends, but she said the “very triggering” part of her journey to embracing a healthier lifestyle was her father dying when she was 19. She revealed that she lost roughly 30 pounds over a five-month time period.
“Losing my father … completely ignited something within my body. Even though it was probably the worse thing that I’ve had to go through. I learned that the bad things that happen to you don’t have to define you,” she continued. “Even though they do define your character [and] who you are, you always have to learn and grow through it.”
Woods added, “It was so triggering for me, and my trigger was getting myself to the gym. That completely changed my life.”
The reality star has addressed the downside of being targeted by online bullies before. She spoke out in April after facing criticism for being involved in a cheating scandal with Tristan Thompson, who was the boyfriend of Khloé Kardashian — the big sister of Woods’ former best friend, Kylie Jenner.
“My little sister was bullied in school and I wanted to show her that I was bullied by the world,” she said during the Homecoming Festival in Nigeria. “I understood for the first time what it’s like being a black woman — in a just society, how we can be so disrespected and nobody can really understand to that extent until you have to live it.”

TAMMY ABRAHAM has revealed that Chelsea stars were “upset” with Frank Lampard’s running drills in pre-season.
But the striker believes all that hard work is paying off after a fine few weeks for the club.
Chelsea have won their last four matches in all competitions and sit fifth in the Premier League table.
However, Lampard’s men started the season poorly with a 4-0 defeat to Manchester United.
And they could only manage two wins in the next seven games before their fortunes turned around with a 7-1 thrashing of Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup.
Their most recent victory was an impressive 4-1 triumph away at Southampton.
And many have pointed to Chelsea’s painstaking pressing and running as a key factor in their success.
The Blues no longer look slow and laboured, with Lampard’s predecessor Maurizio Sarri criticised for a lack of intensity.
Chelsea are instead playing with a new-found speed and energy, allowing the likes of Mason Mount and Abraham to thrive.
The pair have been included in Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad for Euro qualifiers against the Czech Republic and Bulgaria, along with fellow academy product Fikayo Tomori.
And Abraham concedes that although Lampard’s pre-season running drills were a pain, everybody’s hard work is finally shining through.
The fans' favourite, who is 2019’s current top scorer in English football with 20 goals, told the Athletic: “I think a lot of players were a bit upset about how much running we had to do in pre-season, but it’s all paying off now.
“It all makes sense why we did it, why we had such a hard pre-season.
“From when the manager came in he told us the style of play, how he wanted us to play, how to press.
“At first, I couldn’t do it. I had no energy. But as the season has gone on, I’ve got used to it.
“Now we know what he wants in the press, so for us, it’s about giving defenders no time on the ball – just rushing them.”
CHRISTOPHER Eccleston has claimed Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies drove him from the show.
The actor attended New York Comic Con to talk about his time on the rebooted BBC One show and suffice to say he didn’t mince his words.
Tearing into the production team, he claimed the management of the show bred a culture of disrespect that ultimately motivated his decision to leave.
“I left because my relationship with the showrunner [Russell T Davies] and the producers broke down – [it was] the politics of the show,” he said.
“I left only because of those three individuals, and the way they were running the show. I loved playing the character and I loved the world,” he went on.
“That’s one of the reasons I’ve started doing these conventions, to make that clear – I loved playing the Doctor.
“I felt, ‘I’m gonna play the Doctor my way and I’m not gonna get involved in these politics’… and that wasn’t workable, so off I went.”
Eccleston claimed his working class background also made him aware of the mistreatment of other members of the crew.
He branded the power structure “ruthless” and recounted how he completely lost respect for his superiors based on their behaviour towards other.
“Because of my background, when I go onto a set it’s very important to me that everybody’s treated with respect, and that’s because I come from a class of people who traditionally are not treated with respect,” he continued.
“I always look to the director and the producer… and if the director, for instance, treats a member of the crew badly and then comes to speak to me about my performance, I have no respect for them and I don’t listen to them and that’s difficult.
“There were certain things that went on. As an actor, you’re working with a crew and you get very close to that crew, so there were things that I saw that I didn’t like. The crew, I felt, could’ve been treated better. But I often feel that – it’s a ruthless business.”
Eccleston concluded that his decision to leave the show meant he sacrificed “some professional pride,” because he felt any actor should stick around for at least two seasons of a show to make their mark.
Recently, the actor has opened up extensively about his personal life, tying in with the release of his autobiography.
He later insisted that if he ever contracted dementia, as his late father did, he would pursue euthanasia.
He also claimed that his role on Doctor Who should’ve gone to a woman, claiming it was time for “white, middle-aged men to step aside.”
Sailor Brinkley-Cook is beautiful, dynamic and successful in her own right. But the 22-year-old model didn’t always feel comfortable with herself or her body.
“I grew up very insecure,” the Dancing With the Stars season 28 contestant told Us Weekly at the show’s taping on Monday, September 30. “I grew up very doubtful of myself in a lot of ways and I went into modeling, which is, like, not — I don’t want to say that — it’s the most challenging thing to take on as someone who is quite insecure.” She added, “But you know, you find your way in it, you find your groove in it, and I ended up loving it.”
Having a model for a mom — and supermodel Christie Brinkley at that — certainly didn’t help. When Us asked if that added to the pressure, Brinkley-Cook said it did. “I mean, definitely, Like, of course,” she said. “Anyone who does something that their parents did before them feels that pressure.”
While the star, who’s paired with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy, acknowledges that her mother may have helped her break into the industry and is generous with her advice, she’s had to survive in it on her own. “You know, I always say that someone can open a door for you, someone can open a door for you but it’s you who has to keep it open,” she said. “At the end of the day, no one cares who your parents are. No one cares where you come from. It’s about the work that you put in and the attitude that you bring forward.”
Competing on the ABC elimination show has also helped the young model’s confidence. “Doing dancing, like, Oh my gosh. Showing up to rehearsal every day and being able to really work my body to the bone and, like, really try and improve in a physical way and athletic way is so rewarding,” she said. “And it also makes me feel a lot better about myself because I feel like a machine.”
Brinkley-Cook replaced her mother as a contestant on DWTS after Brinkley, 65, announced on the show’s premiere date that she would leave the show due to the broken arm she suffered during rehearsals. In her September 16 Instagram post, Brinkley wrote, “Sailor always meets her challenges head on and realized she did not want to be defined by her fears so with just hours to learn my routine she is turning my defeat or should I say two left feet [sic] into her own victory of courage!”

BARCELONA bosses are set for crunch talks with Gerard Pique as the La Liga giants look to overcome a tough start to the season.
A key dressing room figure, defender Pique often discusses the state of the club with president Josep Maria Bartomeu.
But ESPN understand their upcoming talks will cover comments made by the player that appeared to criticise the Camp Nou chiefs.
Pique stated "we have to keep the club united… otherwise we will cause each other harm" in response to a comment piece in the Catalan press that condemned player influence across the club.
There is a suspicion that board members were behind the article in the Barca-supporting Mundo Deportivo newspaper.
But it was just the latest incident to raise tension between the squad and club.
A documentary detailing Antoine Griezmann's decision to snub the Catalans in 2018 was produced by Pique's company, angering bosses even though the Frenchman eventually signed anyway.
That capture wasn't enough for some, Barcelona's inability to land Neymar in the summer caused much consternation in the dressing room – which has been multiplied by disappointing results to start the campaign.
Losses to Athletic Club and Granada sent the Azulgrana tumbling down the table although their decline has been reversed somewhat by wins over Villarreal and Getafe.
An on-pitch reprieve will only fix the fractured relationship across the club so much though, with the overall direction of the club still up for debate.
Pique is very confident in his opinions and one day wants to run for Barca president.
As such, he was reportedly instrumental in bringing Japanese retailer Rakuten on board as shirt sponsor but less keen on heading to both Japan and the United States in pre-season.
One dressing room ally key to the defender's hopes of wrestling control is Lionel Messi, who stated to Sport earlier this month: “I want to stay here if I can stay in good shape, play well, feel important and if I see we have a winning project.”
That last remark counted as a warning shot to the Barca board and any internal strife that leads to the Argentine leaving risks tearing the club apart.
Ariana Grande and Daniella Monet’s friendship is still Victorious years after the former costars finished filming the hit Nickelodeon show — and the “7 Rings” songstress had the best reaction to finding out the Baby Daddy alum was pregnant with her first child.
“Oh, she cried her eyes out,” Monet, 30, told Us Weekly at the Mercy for Animals 20th Anniversary Gala in L.A. on Saturday, September 14. “I FaceTimed her to tell her and she was just crying and it was so sweet and really special. I think it trips her out cause, like, we’ve known each other for so long now and I’m the first to go through this next phase.”
Monet — who is expecting a baby boy with fiancé Andrew Gardner — also shared that Grande, 26, was in a slightly compromising, and hilarious, position when she answered the call.
“It was so sweet. I know she was even in a spa at the time and she still took the call and, like, was just a mess. It was sweet,” Monet explained. “She looked as though she was [mid massage]! I mean it looked that way … She was trying to be quiet, so I was, like, that’s pretty funny.”
The Zoey 101 actress told Us that Grande will “of course” be known as Auntie Ari to her children, and that the “Thank U, Next” singer has been “so sweet” throughout her pregnancy. “It’s a friendship like no other,” Monet said. (Grande starred as Cat Valentine on Victorious alongside Monet as Trina Vega for four seasons from 2010 to 2013.)
While the California native is weeks away from welcoming her newborn, Grande is focused on her Sweetener world tour. Though she sparked romance rumors with Social House’s Mikey Foster in recent months, her brother, Frankie Grande, confirmed to Us earlier in September that the two are just close friends.
Ariana previously dated the Mac Miller from 2016 to early 2018. The rapper died of an accidental drug overdose at age 26 in September 2018. The pop star went on to have a high-profile relationship with Saturday Night Live comedian Pete Davidson, whom she got engaged to in June 2018 after just a few weeks of dating. The former fiancés split four months later.

SAJID Javid has warned there will be “no blank cheques” ahead of Brexit as he prepares to make his first spending pledges as Chancellor.
The Tory minister said he will not break “fiscal rules” on public money while promising cash boosts to “priorities” such as schools, hospitals and police.
He has revealed he will give a spending round statement on Wednesday September 4 after cancelling the speech which was due to take place tomorrow.
Writing in the Telegraph, he said: "Thanks to the hard work of the British people over the last decade, we can afford to spend more on the people's priorities – without breaking the rules around what the Government should spend – and we'll do that in a few key areas like schools, hospitals and police.
"But at the same time, it's vital that we continue to live within our means as a country.
“Unlike the Labour Party, we don't believe in just throwing money at a problem.
“And especially at a time when the global economy is slowing, it's important that we don't let our public finances get out of control. “
However the new Chancellor slammed suggestions that the government would abandon fiscal rules with the prospect of a no-deal Brexit looming on October 31.
He continued: “So I can confirm that next week’s Spending Round will be delivered within the current fiscal rules.
“As every household knows, that will mean making choices and prioritising where we focus spending, and any departments expecting a blank cheque will be sorely disappointed.”
Speaking about the spending boost for public services, he added: "Health and education aren't just the names of departments – they're lifelines of opportunity, just as they were for me.
"The teachers who persuaded me that I had what it takes to study economics and put me on the path to becoming Chancellor of the Exchequer.
"The police officers who kept us safe when the street I grew up on became a centre for drug dealers.
CASH BOOST FOR 'PRIORITIES'
"The NHS that cared for my dad in his final days. These aren't just numbers on a spreadsheet. They're the beating heart of our country."
Labour's shadow chancellor John McDonnell was critical of Mr Javid's decision to cancel his original speech at the last minute.
He said it was a sign that "panic" was "setting in inside Government".
"Sajid Javid is getting a record of announcing events and initiatives and then within hours cancelling or reversing them," Mr McDonnell said.
"This doesn't inspire confidence. Panic seems to be setting in inside government."
The decision to fast-track efforts to draw up public spending and investment plans was announced earlier this month – although the target date was given as just September, rather than "early September".
Mr Javid asked for a 12-month spending round instead of a longer-term exercise in a bid to "clear the ground ahead of Brexit while delivering on people's priorities".
The spending round will cover day-to-day department budgets for 2020/21, rather than a three-year period first mooted by the previous government, as the UK prepares to leave the EU on October 31.
The Chancellor said the review would "give Whitehall departments certainty over their budgets for next year, and will confirm our plans to fund the nation's priorities".
What is a No Deal Brexit?
A No Deal departure from the European Union means leaving without formal arrangements for the future relationship or any transition period.
Currently Britain's trade, customs and immigration rules are tied up with the single market and a host of EU regulatory bodies.
The UK will automatically head towards a No Deal if no agreement is made with the EU on a withdrawal deal by October 31, 2019.
"The next 65 days will see a relentless focus across Whitehall on preparing to leave the EU," he said.
"As the Prime Minister has said, the best outcome for us would be to leave with a deal – he spent much of last week speaking to his European counterparts to do just that.
"But to get that deal, we need to be prepared to leave with no-deal.
“That's why after just a few days in the Treasury, I doubled Brexit funding for this year by making an extra £2 billion available for no deal preparations.
"That means we can recruit up to 1,000 more Border Force staff, create extra capacity to avoid delays with passport applications, and improve transport infrastructure around ports like Tilbury and Dover."

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady sent New York Mets fans into a tizzy earlier this summer when he applied to trademark the “Tom Terrific” moniker.
It was revealed Friday that the trademark application was refused by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office because of the nickname’s connection to Mets great Tom Seaver.
“The nickname TOM TERRIFIC points uniquely and unmistakably to Tom Seaver, and the fame or reputation of Tom Seaver as ‘Tom Terrific’ is such that a connection between Mr. Seaver and the applied-for goods would be presumed,” a letter to Brady’s attorney said, according to Boston 25.
In May, a Philadelphia-based law firm noted that Brady’s company, TEB Capital, filed trademark protections for “Tom Terrific” in hopes of printing the nickname in trading cards and t-shirts.
When the Mets got wind of it, they tweeted their frustration at the six-time Super Bowl quarterback.
“Hey (USPTO), with all due respect to Tom Brady…. There’s only one Tom Terrific to us,” the team wrote.
PANTHERS' ERIC REID CLAIMS LATE HIT ON PATRIOTS' BEN WATSON WASN'T INTENTIONAL AFTER TWITTER SPAT
Brady attempted to distance himself from the application, with his lawyers saying he only applied so they could keep it from being used to refer to him, Boston 25 reported.
Seaver played with the Mets from 1967 to 1976 and again in 1983. He won 198 games, recorded a 2.57 ERA and struck out 2,541 batters during his time in Flushing.
Julianne Hough has always been in amazing shape. But as she shows in a big way on the cover of Women’s Health’s “Naked Strength”-themed September 2019 issue, her nude body is even more amazing than you might think possible.
The goal of the America’s Got Talent judge was to show off her muscles — and how flexible and active her body is. “I didn’t want to do a demure shoot where I was trying to cover my body,” she told the mag. “I wanted to do something where I was free. Now I’m walking around naked all the time, and I love it!”
She is featured on six covers — in her toned and tanned birthday suit on all! There are also six inside photos that feature the 31-year-old actress leaping, standing, sitting, showing off her back and wrapped in aerial yoga ribbons in various upside-down, athletic poses.
The wellness enthusiast opened up further on the endometriosis that she’s admitted can make having sex with her NHL husband, Brooks Laich, painful and has her seeking IVF. “I feel I’ve created a more peaceful and harmonious relationship with it,” she said, adding that she’s accepted that she can’t always be in control of her condition. “I’ve always put it out there that it’s going to be OK,” she noted.
The dancer — who also revealed in the interview that she recently told her husband of two years, 36, that she is not straight — talked up her new dance concept, Kinrgy, which is meant to connect body and mind. “We’re creating an environment that’s inclusive and where everyone is accepted … that’s the world I want to live in,” she said.
Hough also added, “Dance is my superpower and it has been my whole life, but I didn’t even know it … I have no boundaries when I dance.”
She has no boundaries in her amazing photos either! Scroll through to see the beautiful, dynamic images.
SHOCK details of George Kay's death have emerged as it's revealed that the police watchdog are investigating.
The 39 year old died on Saturday July 6 after "eating a quantity of cocaine" in front of horrified staff at the Holiday Inn in Sutton Weaver, Cheshire.
A source told the Liverpool Echo George had been acting erratically on the Friday night and refused to return to his room – forcing staff to call the cops.
Police officers attended at 9.54pm on July 5 but allegedly left the hotel after George agreed to return to his room.
It's then claimed staff went to check on George at 10am on Saturday but found him "eating" a large amount of cocaine from his desk.
Sources claim he quickly became unwell and police and ambulance services were called to the scene.
A spokesman from Cheshire Police said: "At 9.54pm on Friday, July 5, police received a report of concern for the safety of a 39-year-old man at a hotel on Wood Lane, Sutton Weaver.
"Officers attended and spoke to the man, as well as hotel staff. All parties agreed that he could remain at the hotel.
"At 10.11am on Saturday, July 6, police received a further report of concern for the man’s safety.
"Due to the information provided the caller was advised to contact North West Ambulance Service for assistance.
"Paramedics attended the hotel and the man was taken to Warrington General Hospital for treatment, where he sadly later died.
"The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"As with any death following police contact, Cheshire Constabulary has referred the matter to the Independent Office for Police Conduct."
Kerry was left in shock after her ex-husband died suddenly from a suspected drug overdose.
The 38-year-old looked devastated as she was spotted out and about in East Sussex after being left in utter shock by the tragic news last weekend.
The former rugby league player met Kerry, 39, as teenagers, but started dating in 2012 after bumping into each other in Warrington.
They married in September 2014, five months after she had their daughter Dylan-Jorge, now five years old.
Following the news, a friend told the Mirror: "Kerry is heartbroken, he’s DJ’s dad and she loved him once.
“She can’t bear the thought of explaining to her daughter what has happened."
Further pain was caused when campaign group Fathers4Justice implied Kerry is responsible for George's apparent cocaine overdose, claiming she refused him access to their daughter Dylan-Jorge.
Fathers4Justice founder Matt O’Connor tweeted: “Tragic news about the passing of George Kay who came to Fathers4Justice for help.
“He was heartbroken after @KerryKatona7 denied him access to daughter Dylan-Jorge. Katona’s not ‘heartbroken’. She has blood on her hands.”
While Kerry is yet to speak publicly, her daughters, from her marriage to Brian McFadden have spoken out to defend her.
Molly, 17, tweeted: “I suggest take this tweet down.
“How dare you make statements this disgusting at such a vulnerable time, your accusations are inaccurate and extremely insensitive.
“I truly hope you never find yourself in this kind of situation. Vile words from a vile person you should be ashamed.”
While Lily, 16, wrote: “I find your tweets repulsive and insensitive. You must remind yourself he had kids who are at an age that use social media.
“You did not know George like we did and to have the audacity to speak of my mother who put her neck on the line for that man on countless occasions when no decent human would is vile. We’re in mourning and people like you are poisonous.
“Using death for your own gain and to increase your following is disgusting. I’m sending love and light your way as it is clearly needed.”
Well, at least someone’s excited! Randall Park, who plays Louis Huang on Fresh Off the Boat, can’t wait to get back to work on the ABC sitcom, despite the drama surrounding the renewal news and his onscreen wife, Constance Wu.
“Thrilled, very happy,” Park told Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday, May 23, at the premiere of Always Be My Maybe, about his reaction to Fresh Off the Boat getting picked up for a sixth season. His Netflix costar, Ali Wong, who worked as a writer on the comedy, also added that she feels so grateful for the success of the show – it introduced her to Always Be My Maybe director Nahnatchka Khan.
“This movie wouldn’t have happened the way it did if I’d never worked on that show, and it’s where I learned how to write story,” Wong, 37, said. “So it was a great experience and I will always have a special place in my heart for Fresh Off the Boat.”
The show’s renewal news was followed by a bit of controversy when Wu, 37, tweeted a slew of NSFW responses. When a fan tweeted it was good news that the show was coming back, she responded, “No, it’s not.” She also wrote, “ugh. F—k,” and “So upset right now that I’m literally crying.”
When fans called her out for her tweets, the Crazy Rich Asians star backtracked and began responding. “Y’all are making a lot of assumptions about what I was saying. And no, it’s not what it’s about. No it’s not..what this is all about. Stop assuming,” she tweeted on May 10.
The next day, the Hustlers actress shared a lengthy statement on Twitter, explaining that she had to pass on another project that she was “really passionate about” since the show got picked up. However, she clarified, that didn’t mean she wasn’t grateful.
“My words and ill-timing were insensitive to those who are struggling, especially insensitive considering the fact that I used to be in that struggle too. I do regret that and it wasn’t nice and I am sorry for that. I know it’s a huge privilege that I even HAVE options – options that FOTB has afforded me,” she added. “But if one does have privilege, they ought to use that privilege as best they can. For me, that means pushing myself artistically. Constantly challenging myself by doing what’s unfamiliar and scary. So I am trying my best to use it well. People ‘assumed’ that that meant I don’t love and enjoy FOTB. But I do love and enjoy it. I hope you believe me.”

Kate Gosselin is finally ready to jump back in the saddle and enter the dating world – except this time the “Kate Plus Eight” reality star will be looking for love from the “safety” of her new TLC reality series, “Kate Plus Date.”
Joined by her 18-year-old twin daughters Mady and Cara, Gosselin, 43, will be navigating the raging waters of high-intensity blind-dating in her quest to snag the man of her dreams.
“Particularly, the dating show – [I chose] Mady and Cara because they’re 18 and I feel like it’s more comfortable at this time to have them weighing in and helping me out,” Gosselin told reporters during the TLC portion of the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour at the Langham Huntington Hotel in Pasadena on Tuesday. “So, it’ll be Mady and Cara on “Kate Plus Date,” and yes – we are close with all of my kids and their brothers and sisters.”
KATE GOSSELIN TO STAR IN TLC DATING SHOW 'KATE PLUS DATE,' REPORT SAYS
Gosselin — who has been divorced from Jon Gosselin since late 2009 — said she found it incredibly difficult to get acclimated to dating after ten years of being single and welcomes the opportunity to build the “family business” with her daughters while valuing their input on her dating escapades.
“Everything was different. The question that seems easy was very hard for me from the matchmaker in terms of, ‘What are you looking for?’” Gosselin explained. “I knew what I wasn’t looking for, but I couldn’t easily articulate what I was looking for, so their job is difficult. I’ve gotta say, in terms of qualities and all of those things, it was difficult to articulate, but they were strictly blind dates – so when it came to who they matched me with, I didn’t even know their names until minutes before.”
Despite being completely out of her element, and overwhelmed by the multitude of men she had come in contact with, Gosselin said the most difficult part was going with the flow of the dates and letting the chips fall where they may regardless of the “awkwardness, uncomfortable and terrified" reactions she had during the show’s filming.

JON GOSSELIN GETS TEMPORARY SOLE CUSTODY OF SOON COLLIN AFTER KATE GOSSELIN MISSES COURT
“They were kind of hit or miss,” said Gosselin. “It’s very difficult. It’s a very difficult concept and this is a very real show and I am really looking for someone – and you really have to split hair in terms of what didn’t work.”
The mother of eight children, including sextuplets continued: “Sometimes, there really isn’t a word even for me to come up with to describe what exactly didn’t work, so this was a journey and it’s really neat because in coming up with this, saying, ‘I’d love to date on TV, and the safety it provides – I feel comfortable on television.’”

“The whole thing was I didn’t realize how awkward I feel on this whole journey. I’ve learned so much about myself and so much about how I react. It’s painful at times – I’m hard to watch.”
When asked if her own children would someday carry a TV show for themselves, Gosselin left the decision to them and toted their maturity as young adults in gauging their overall readiness to step into the spotlight.
“This is ten years and counting – and judging based on my kids and how well-adjusted and intelligent and how well they’re doing in school and overall life, I feel like more than anything it has enriched their lives and has made them world-wise and taught them a lot about people’s intentions,” Gosselin clarified.
“I don’t worry about that because we started this when they were very young and obviously as a parent, you always want to do what’s best for your kids, and I did it in a way where we live our real lives and that’s filmed and anyone who has worked with us knows that we don’t do three takes, we do not have scripted lines.”
Gosselin pressed on: “I am a very protective parent, as you probably know. It comes from a place of love, I do think that I care so deeply that I have been at times, overzealous – but as far as Mady and Cara and all my kids, I think that they’re such good girls that I don’t have to keep after them.
"They’re self-driven, you know they have goals and dreams," she added. "They’re just good kids and it is scary with all the things you have to worry about on social media. I am worried, but particularly with them turning 18 and going off to college, I don’t have to worry. They’re very wise, good decision-makers – I don’t know what I did to deserve such amazing kids, but they blow me away every day.”

Milo Ventimiglia is willing to admit his physique for his shirtless scene in Second Act wasn’t the best it could be, but he’s totally fine with the dad bod vibe — especially because he says it fits the character.
“I mean if we’re being honest, I’m playing an assistant baseball coach at a college,” the This Is Us actor told Us at the film’s NYC premiere on Wednesday, December 12. “I think he’s probably healthy but not entirely model fit.”
Even if the Heroes alum, 41, had wanted to get a chiseled six-pack for the scene, he wouldn’t have had the time. Laughing off the idea that he did extra crunches to prep his abs, he told Us, “No, actually I’d gotten off a plane, a red eye, to get to work on my first day and they told me, ‘Hey, it’s the scene post-shower and you’ll have your shirt off and you’ll walk across the room to get your shirt. And I went, ‘Oh, OK.’”
In the rom-com, Ventimiglia’s character Trey is married to Jennifer Lopez’s Maya, who reinvents her life story and lands a high-powered executive role. The day before the NYC premiere, the actor admitted the hilarious way he psyched himself up to star alongside JLo: “I tell you how to prepare,” he told E! News, laughing. “You talk to yourself and say, ‘Motherf–ker, just be cool!’”
As Jack on the decades-spanning NBC weepie This Is Us, Ventimiglia is no stranger to changing his physicality for a role. In an interview with Us earlier this month, he credited the crew for helping him look younger in flashbacks. “You know what, it’s a great hair and makeup team,” he told Us. “And it’s a great post-production who is helping relieve me of the wrinkles I’ve got on my face over the last 41 years. There is some movie magic that happens.”

Simon Hessler, 46, was arrested and faces several charges after allegedly trying to buy a 12-year-old girl for "limitless sex" and "slave training." (Connecticut State Police)
A Connecticut hotel owner who had a “sex dungeon” hidden at his business was arrested after he attempted to buy a preteen girl for “slave training” and “limitless sex” for two days, police said.
Simon Hessler was arrested Tuesday after investigators set up a sting to nab the 46-year-old man during a child prostitution and human trafficking investigation. Hessler was caught attempting to purchase a 12-year-old girl for two days in exchange for $500, the Hartford Courant reported.
The preteen girl, however, was a “very petite narcotics officer from East Hartford.”
Police began investigating Hessler in October after they discovered he sought photos of young Mexican girls for a “casting couch interview,” the newspaper reported, citing the arrest warrant. In conversations with Connecticut state police Det. Samantha McCord, Hessler revealed he had a dungeon he used to train slaves. The alleged sex dungeon was “an elaborate sado-masochism room with multiple beds with whips and chains and handcuffs on the wall.” It also included a metal cage with a padlock.
Hessler shared with the detective several photos of the dungeon, which was located in Hessler’s business, New England Hospitality Management.
The hotel owner eventually asked McCord to bring him a “DCF/foster kid” so he could train her in his “slave quarters” and have sex with her, the police report stated. He allegedly asked for the girl to be dropped off at a trailer parked in the Manchester hotel parking lot where she is left handcuffed with a black hood and on the floor.
Hessler was arrested once he pulled up to the trailer. Police also recovered 11 flash drives from Hessler’s house after they contacted his wife who asked if her husband had “done something with underage girls.”
Hessler was arrested and faces several charges, including attempted felony to patronize a prostitute and second-degree attempted sex assault.
He is being held on $1 million bail and expected back in court on Dec. 12.

It’s safe to say Joanna Gaines feels stretched sometimes. The Fixer Upper alum shares five kids with her husband, Chip Gaines — the youngest is just 5-months-old — and she’s running a retail empire.
“I know at times it can be hard to connect with your kids. Especially in the tired and the hard and busy times in life,” the Magnolia Market cofounder, 40, wrote in a Sunday, November 4, Instagram post.
Joanna then shared a story abouta special morning in the family garden with her daughter Emmie Kay, 8. “I just followed along in her imaginations and curiosities (in all honesty I was too tired to come up with anything because mama and Crew haven’t been sleeping great these days),” the HGTV personality revealed in her post. “She told me she wanted to pick flowers and put them in old books that only her and I would know about and then look for them later when we got older.”

Look for grace in the moments, the small wins that lead to the greatest investments in their hearts.” She then urged parents to be kinder to themselves.
“Don’t spend another second focusing on failure,” Joanna mused. “Instead use whatever time and whatever energy you have and look for the moments where grace can be found.”

Back together again! Pierce Brosnan sent fans into a frenzy upon reuniting with his Mrs. Doubtfire costars 25 years after the beloved film hit theaters.
Brosnan, 65, who portrayed stepfather Stu in the movie, reunited with Matthew Lawrence (Chris Hillard), Lisa Jakub (Lydia Hillard) and Mara Wilson (Natalie Hillard), who played his stepchildren, on Wednesday, October 24.
“So this just happened. #mrsdoubtfire #reunion #25yearslater,” Jakub, 39, tweeted alongside a sweet photo of the group embracing as the film’s 25th anniversary on November 24 nears.
Jakub also shared a clip of Brosnan revealing a photo on his phone of her, Lawrence, and Wilson at the premiere of the 1993 flick. “Here you go: At the premiere of Mrs. Doubtfire and here we are, we pull back slowly, tada!” the Mamma Mia! actor said while filming his former costars. “Love you, love you all so much. So good to be a part of your lives.”
Mrs. Doubtfire starred the late Robin Williams as Daniel Hillard, a man who goes undercover as a female housekeeper named Mrs. Euphegenia Doubtfire in order to spend time with his three kids following a difficult divorce from his wife, Miranda Hillard (Sally Field).
“Stepdad!” Wilson exclaims in Jakub’s clip as Bronsan poses alongside the onscreen siblings. Adds Brosnan, “Stepdad Stu!”
One day before the sweet reunion, Jakub hinted in an Instagram post that she’d be spending time with some former costars. “So I feel like I pretty much live in airport hotels and airports these days. So hi from another airport,” she said in a video on Tuesday, October 23. “I am on my way to Los Angeles and I am doing that because of a certain significant anniversary that is coming up next month and, uh, a couple of fake siblings that I used to have. Any guesses? I am super excited by the way. More to come on this so stay tuned.”
Mrs. Doubtfire was a box office success, earning more than $200 million in the U.S. and grossing more than $440 million internationally. Williams, who died at age 63 in August 2014, won a Golden Globe in 1994 for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy for his role in the film.
In the midst of all the Disney live-action remakes like Aladdin, Dumbo, Mulan, and The Lion King, it seems Lilo and her cute and fluffy pal aren’t getting left behind. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney is working on a Lilo & Stitch live-action movie. While Disney has yet to confirm the news, it’s certainly gotten fans on Twitter talking and it’s safe to say they have a lot of feelings about this Lilo & Stitch remake. (Bustle has reached out to Disney for comment and confirmation, but has not yet received a response.)
THR reported that the new Lilo & Stitch would be a live-action/CGI hybrid, not unlike the upcoming live-action version of The Lion King, which features Beyoncé’s voice as Nala. For now, there’s no word on who will play Lilo or Stitch, but up and coming writer Mike Van Waes was hired to pen the script. It’s also unclear whether the Lilo & Stitch live-action remake will be released in theaters or will end up on Disney’s upcoming streaming service which is set to launch next year.
All of that uncertainty might be why some fans aren’t sure how to feel about the news of another Lilo & Stitch movie. It might be why so many voiced their concerns. "Lilo and Stitch is a perfect movie," a Twitter user named @SenorWoberto wrote. "There is, functionally, no way to improve it further, with its heartfelt characters and beautiful art. But it’ll still make tons of money because nostalgia sells.
Vivica A. Fox shares best advice Dr. Phil gave her
Hollywood actress Vivica A. Fox shares the biggest piece of advice Dr. Phil gave her to launch the talk show 'Face the Truth.'
Vivica A. Fox is grateful she didn’t have to endure sexual harassment just to make it in Hollywood.
The 54-year-old, who has successfully made her mark in film and television since the late ‘80s, told Fox News she was never a victim of sexual assault in her journey to stardom.
“I’ve been fortunate that it hasn’t happened in my career,” she explained. “I can’t say I haven’t been hit on. … I just tried to make better choices. … But I respect those that speak out and I’m all about women’s empowerment… and not being taken advantage of.
Vivica A. Fox has learned many lessons over the years in Hollywood as a sought-after actress.
"And it doesn’t happen just in show business," she added. "It happens in a lot of different genres. … If someone is offering you a shortcut, don’t do it.”
Fox is aware of the #MeToo movement that has taken over the entertainment industry after movie mogul Harvey Weinstein was accused of sexual assault, rape and abuse by several actresses and models in late 2017.
And while she fully supports calling out and punishing male sexual transgressions, she also believes false accusations made on others could be harmful, especially to those proven to be innocent later on.
“I’m happy about the #MeToo movement for the simple fact that it brought exposure to those who were abusing their power,” she said. “However, I’m not happy with those who are using the #MeToo movement to be an excuse to take down people… It takes two to tango.”

Fox stressed the secret behind her own success has simply been putting in the work, even if that means skipping any shortcuts along the way.
“You’ve got to do the work,” said Fox. “If someone is trying to offer you an opportunity through the casting couch, don’t do it!”
Now Fox is hoping to help others in need. After some convincing from Dr. Phil, the star is hosting a new talk show called “Face the Truth" where guests reveal their problems to a panel of experts hoping to receive constructive criticism. The studio audience will also get the chance to weigh in.
Fox doesn’t mind if strangers are willing to air out their dirty laundry in front of cameras. In fact, she said it’s exactly what American audiences are eager to see.
“[People] want to see real folks with real problems,” she explained. “They’re tired of the celebrity fluff. … I’m helping others. It’s good for me, especially coming from the world of being a selfish actress when it’s always about me. It’s a good time to give back.”
Fox admitted she was hesitant to take on daytime TV after a decades-long career appearing on the big screen. However, Dr. Phil, a TV psychologist she considers a friend, wasn’t having it.
“Phil gave me the advice of, if I wanted to be successful in the daytime genre, then I had to be prepared to work hard,” she said. “It takes time to build a show. I’ve kind of gotten a little spoiled. Being a film actress, I get immediate results. You know whether or not your film was great or if it tanks.
"In the daytime genre, it takes time to build. So he said, ‘You’re gonna have to work hard. You either find your audience [or] build your audience and he’s absolutely correct.”
Vivica A. Fox’s friend, Dr. Phil, gave her no-nonsense advice on making it in daytime TV.
And Fox isn’t afraid of a challenge. She knows stars of Hollywood’s yesteryear would have easily been given the boot after age 30. However, she insisted it’s never been a better time to be a woman over 50 in Hollywood.
“It’s a beautiful time to be a woman over 50, to be a mature woman in Hollywood, to be very honest with you,” she said. “… You’re seeing women [who] are mothers over 40. From Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Uma Thurman — you’re seeing a lot of my co-stars, believe it or not, that are entering into new chapters of their lives and they’re still looking great and taking care of themselves."
“It’s a good time. Women are taking care of themselves. And finally, we’re being respected for that. And I also believe we’re seeing more wonderful programming and movies and opportunities for mature women. … I’m a very proud woman to be in my 50s who’s having an amazing resurgence in her career.”
So Fox has zero plans to slow down. She’s returning to the hit series “Empire” as Cookie’s oldest sister, Candace. She originally made several guest appearances from 2015-17.

“Empire” tells the story of a hip-hop mogul and his family as they battle for control over his multimillion dollar company. It stars Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson as Cookie Lyons.
Fox revealed that while the two are friends off-camera, the 48-year-old Henson has happily taken on a new role personally.
“Right now she’s in her nesting place happily engaged [with] a new puppy,” said Fox.
As Fox’s career continues to thrive, she hopes to be an inspiration to other women.
“I planted a lot of seeds in the last couple of years that are all blossoming,” she said. “I’m really fortunate for them. People always tell me I’m always working. Well, you got to do the work to be successful. I hope that I’m a good role model… and let others know that you can go through different chapters of your career and be happy and successful.”
Noah Cyrus is dealing with a broken heart. The “Mad at You” singer opened up in a new interview about how she is coping with her recent breakup from Lil Xan.
“It’s like mourning. It’s like losing somebody — you mourn that person,” she told BreatheHeavy.com on Thursday, September 20. “It’s like your body is in it. Like, it hurts physically — when you miss somebody — there’s so many emotions in losing somebody that you spent so much time with.”
Cyrus, 18, channeled her energy into her debut EP, Good Cry, which was released on Friday, September 21. “Everybody has their demons, which I love writing about,” she told the website. “I love writing about my past, and I love writing about heartbreak.”
The creative process ultimately helped the Nashville native. “I’m in a really good headspace right now,” she explained. “I know where I’m at, I know what I want to make, I’m so inspired by so many people, so inspired by the world. There’s so much that I want to write about and make. The mind doesn’t stop!”
It helps that Cyrus (whose father is Billy Ray Cyrus and sister is Miley Cyrus) has a busy schedule ahead of her as she prepares for her upcoming tour. “I just can’t wait to get the f–k out of L.A.,” she said. “I cannot wait to be moving all the time and not be in one place. … I’m a bus baby. I grew up on a bus. I f–king love touring. I love the feeling of the road, and sitting up with the bus driver, just smoking a J, going along the road, listening to James Taylor. I’m just so excited.”
The actress also said she was surprised to find out that her “Live or Die” music video with Lil Xan, 22, was still released after their breakup. “I didn’t put the music video out,” she claimed. “I just woke up one day and that video was on YouTube. I don’t know.”
Noah and the SoundCloud rapper (real name Diego Leanos) announced earlier this month that they called it quits after just one month together. They later accused each other of cheating in a series of Instagram posts before unfollowing each other.

Fans complained that despite its all-star cast the characters were mumbling and they struggled to hear the dialogue.
The 10-part drama follows the wealthy Getty family and the kidnap of J Paul Getty's (Donald Sutherland) grandson J Paul Getty III (Harris Dickinson), and premiered to an impressive 1.5 million viewers.
Danny Boyle also directed it.
The problem seemed to lie with the sound effects of the show, not the talent of the actors.
One viewer said: "What on earth is wrong with modern TV series & programmes like #Trust on #BBC2 that you have to lower and increase the volume because the dialogue is often ridiculously quiet, but then goes to full volume, ps Not mentioning the music problem!"
Another commented: "What is wrong with the sound?
"I've had to more than double the sound setting to enable me to hear the conversations, then quickly turn it back when the music comes on.
"Very poor quality."
And: "Neighbours have just got a new baby so we're trying to be quiet but having to switch the sound up to 28 to hear dialogue then immediately shut it down for music.
"Really ruins the experience of watching. C'mon #bbc2 #trust – d'you think we all live in Getty mansions?"
Despite the problems with hearing it, it was also roundly praised on social media.
One viewer called it "bloody brilliant" and another commented that Donald Sutherland "deserves every accolade" for his portrayal of J Paul Getty III.
The head of the Getty empire, Jean Paul was one of the most successful industrialists of all time and at the time of his death in 1976 was worth the equivalent of almost £20bn.
He spoke several languages and had one of the most expansive art collections in the world – the basis of the Getty Museum in LA.
Trust also stars Charlotte Riley and Hilary Swank.
