Kim Kardashian's husband says her family makes him more ambitious

Kanye West claims he stays ambitious because Kim Kardashian’s family is so successful as he calls himself ‘the greatest artist of human existence’

Kanye West has praised the Kardashians for keeping him motivated.

The 42-year-old rapper said that if Kim and her sisters did not work so hard every day, he may have chosen to relax more.

But because they are always staying on top of their brands, he has chosen to do so too the TV star said during the The New York Times DealBook Conference on Wednesday.

His view: Kanye West has praised the Kardashians for keeping him motivated. The 42-year-old rapper said that if Kim and her sisters did not work so hard every day, he may have chosen to relax more; seen leaving the FastCompany Innovation Festival in NYC on Thursday

He wants to… keep up with the Kardashians! All of the women in Kim’s family are very successful; the siren is seen here with Kourtney, left, and Khloe, right

West is married to Kim Kardashian with whom he has four children: North, six, Saint, three, Chicago, 21 months, and Psalm, five months.

And Kim has four sisters that all work very hard. In addition to starring on Keeping Up With The Kardashians they have other projects.

Kourtney has Poosh, Khloe stars on her spinoff Revenge Body, Kylie is a $1B makeup mogul and Kendall is the number one supermodel in the world.

Rambling man: West made his comments during The New York Times DealBook Conference on Wednesday. Seen with Steven Smith

‘I think if my family wasn’t so … if they didn’t work so hard and they weren’t so omnipresent, maybe I would just rest on my laurels of just being the greatest artist of human existence, and that would just be enough,’ the star said.

‘But that’s shown that that is not enough.’

He then said that staying fit and talking out problems is also on top of the list.

‘You have to hit the gym, you have to communicate – it’s a modern-day Medici or Rome. It’s an era that people will remember for all of human existence,’ he added.

Motivated: The family seen together for Kris Jenner’s 64th birthday

The Heartless rapper is proud of his family, and says he can’t wait to launch his new project, which involves an ‘innovation community’ centered around his church.

Asked what he’s proud of at the moment, he added: ‘Looking at my daughters and looking at my family, and as we are starting this church and this innovation community where we’re doing education.’

Kanye also spoke about social media, and drew parallels between its addictive nature and cigarettes, though he made sure to note that social media is not as ‘negative’ as the latter.

Mogul 1: Kim runs SKIMS and has KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance

You glow, girl: Khloe runs Good American and has the show Revenge Body

‘I’ve done interviews often that if I post 100 posts, they’re like, “He needs to go to a hospital, he’s going crazy,”‘ he said.

‘But Instagram and different social media, they have the likes come back at a slower speed.

‘They have a certain amount of posts that you should do to look normal.’

Kim and her mom also stopped by the NYT.

Mrs West discussed Instagram taking LIKES away with Andrew Ross Sorkin: ‘I think about when I raise my kids and screen time, phone time, what to post, what not to post, even posting things in real time. I learned from a bad experience that I had when I was robbed that people really knew my every move, they knew what I had, they knew where I was, what I was doing, and that to me really changed maybe the things that I post.

She has her own biz too: Kourtney runs the website Poosh

‘I still want people to feel like they’re along that journey with me, but I might video something and then post it like 30 minutes later, when I’ve left the location more for privacy. But as far as mental health, I mean it’s something that taking the likes away and taking that aspect away from it would be really beneficial for people.

‘And I know that the Instagram team has been having lots of inner conversations with a bunch of people to get everyone’s take on that and is taking it really seriously. That makes me happy.’

She also talked activism: ‘I am really cautious about what I spend. So if I overspend on something and a paid post happens to come in at that time, I’ll weigh it out and think, O.K., well I have to pay for x, y, and z.’

Chris Harrison Says 'The Bachelor' Can't Feature Too Much Diversity For Fear Of The Show Getting Cancelled

In the past few years, The Bachelor franchise has made some strides in creating a more diverse show. In 2017, The Bachelorette featured its first black star (Rachel Lindsay), and the most recent season of Bachelor In Paradise featured the show’s first same-sex engagement (Demi Burnett and Kristian Haggerty–who have since split up).

The show still has a long way to go, though, to be considered inclusive.

Franchise host Chris Harrison recently spoke to a group of journalism students at the University of Southern California about “diversity and the behind-the-scenes of the reality television series,” according to The Daily Trojan.

The discussion went over-time because Harrison took so many student questions.

Chris Harrison addresses the diversity issue

One student, after professing her love for the show, asked Harrison if the producers are conscious of the audience’s desire to see more diversity and if we can expect better representation in the future.

Harrison agreed that when the show first began in 2002 it did not do a great job of casting diverse contestants. He does feel representation has improved through the years, but that he and the producers can’t make any “great social statements” anytime soon.

“It was incumbent on us to change that narrative, and we have done that,” he said. “Over the last several years, we have taken great strides in … trying to make you feel more represented. While I would love to only make great social statements and really change the world, I can’t just do that because we have to stay on the air … or I’m not making a social statement to anyone.”

Harrison went on to say that he feels The Bachelor team can’t force diversity on its viewers.

“You have to take it as it comes … because then it’s organic and then it feels right,” he said. “When you try to force things is when it backfires on you … We took that step in that we had our first African American, but I didn’t look at her and go, ‘So happy she’s Black.’ I’m happy that she’s a badass woman, and oh by the way she also happens to be African American.”

Another student asked Harrison about the likelihood of a gay Bachelor ever taking place.

Harrison said he does not know if that will ever happen.

The franchise’s host believes that The Bachelor‘s role isn’t to change society, but rather, to change as society changes. He used Lindsay and Burnett as examples of the show evolving with the culture.

Harrison also mentioned that many of the people who work on The Bachelor behind-the-scenes are of different races and sexual orientations.

‘The Bachelor’ is very much ‘real,’ according to Chris Harrison

The host also discussed how much of the show is “real,” and how much is produced–a hot Bachelor Nation topic, especially after this last season of Bachelor In Paradise.

Harrison assured the audience that the contestants are real people who he and the producers truly care about.

“You kind of have to take your hand off the wheel and let stuff happen,” he said.

Harrison said that what the contestants say is never scripted, but that producers construct environments that force contestants to “deal with each other” in interesting ways.

Hillary Clinton Says This Was Chelsea's Most 'Mischievous' Act in the White House

“You did nothing mischievous?” Corden inquired and Chelsea joked, “I was perfect, James.”

Chelsea Clinton’s most "mischievous" act as first daughter in the White House may surprise you.

While appearing on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" Tuesday night, Chelsea and her mom, former First Lady Hillary Clinton, participated in a fun game of "Face Your Mother." The rules of the game were simple: Each participant was asked a question about the other. Both contestants then had to write down their answer and if they matched, both mother and daughter won a point.

Corden asked the ladies some absolutely hilarious questions, including some of the shenanigans Chelsea would get into when she was a teenager when her father, Bill Clinton, was in office.

"What is the most mischievous thing you did as a teenager in the White House?" Corden asked. Chelsea then showed her whiteboard. "Nothing," it read.

"You did nothing mischievous?" Corden inquired and Chelsea joked, "I was perfect, James."

However, Hillary said there was something her daughter did that the secret service wasn’t okay with. Apparently ordering pizza is against the rules.

"When you’re in the White House, you can’t order pizza," she explained. "When she would have friends over, they would want to order pizza and it kept causing all kinds of commotion with the secret service."

Despite Hillary’s answer, Corden couldn’t believe that Chelsea didn’t do anything mischievous in the White House. The late-night host even threw in some suggestions, like drinking or smoking.

"Of course not, James," Chelsea said and Hillary joked, "Anything she says could be held against her."

Corden continued to quiz the mother-daughter duo about Hillary’s "most annoying" travel habit, who of the two is more high maintenance and one thing Chelsea thinks Hillary is "terrible" at.

The pair, who are promoting their new book, "The Book of Gutsy Women," failed to get matching answers on most of the questions, except for two, including what Chelsea disapproves of when Hillary babysits her children: Charlotte, 5, Aidan, 3, and Jasper, 3 months.

"There’s not enough space," Chelsea joked before writing down her answer.

Hillary first showed her guess: "Junk food and screen time." Chelsea then read her answer, "Pizza for lunch and dinner. EVERY DAY."

"You scored a point!" Corden announced.

The second question they both agreed on? That Chelsea did the most work on their new book. She is a children’s book author, after all.

Watch it all go down in the full clip, above.

Lady Gaga Says Bradley Cooper Is a 'Beautiful Father' to Daughter Lea

Lady Gaga doesn’t just respect her A Star Is Born costar Bradley Cooper as an actor but as a dad as well.

“He’s a beautiful father,” the “Born This Way” singer, 33, said of the Tony nominee, 44, in her December Elle cover story, published on Wednesday, November 6.

The American Horror Story alum went on to address speculation that she and the actor, who shares 2-year-old daughter Lea De Seine with his ex-girlfriend Irina Shayk, were romantically involved. Rumors intensified after the pair performed “Shallow” at the Academy Awards in February.

“We made a love story,” the New York native explained to the magazine. “For me, as a performer and as an actress, of course we wanted people to believe that we were in love. And we wanted people to feel that love at the Oscars. We wanted it to go right through the lens of that camera and to every television that it was being watched on. And we worked hard on it, we worked for days. We mapped the whole thing out — it was orchestrated as a performance. … In truth, when we talked about it, we went, ‘Well, I guess we did a good job!’”

Cooper and Shayk, also 33, called it quits in June, and a source told Us Weekly exclusively that A Star Is Born “had a major impact” on their relationship’s end.

“Even though there was nothing romantic between Bradley and Gaga, the noise was difficult for Irina to deal with,” the insider shared with Us later that month. Another said that Gaga “felt bad” about the romance rumors and had no plans “to get together” with the Hangover star after the split.

That being said, the singer’s friend Cheyenne Jackson would love to see the costars date since “they’re amazing together” and have “incredible” chemistry on and off screen.

“I could see it happening somewhere down the road,” the Glee alum, 44, told Us and other reporters last month. “I think they could, who knows? … [She deserves] somebody that’s going to just treasure her and challenge her and love her. She deserves that.”

Gaga was engaged to her former agent Christian Carino from the summer of 2017 until February. She was previously engaged to Taylor Kinney from 2015 to 2016.

Prankster Simon Brodkin says he feels absolutely no guilt from all his stitch-ups – The Sun

NOT many people can say they’ve got one over on real-life pantomime villains Donald Trump, Sir Philip Green, Kanye West and Sepp Blatter.

But in the world of the UK’s premier prankster Simon Brodkin, it’s all in a day’s work.

The funnyman reflects on his most notorious stunts in his new stand-up show — where for the first time he appears as himself, not one of his many alter egos including cheeky “chav” Lee Nelson or preened footballer Jason Bent.

And the overriding message from all his stitch-ups is that he feels absolutely no guilt.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, Simon says: “The people who have been pranked are powerful people or organisations who frankly should be able to take what goes along with that level of responsibility or that sort of level of power.

“Do I feel guilty? I’ve got to say no to that one.”

He adds: “But I don’t do any of these stunts to be mean. I’d never want any of the people I’ve targeted to feel threatened.”

The chirpy Londoner, 42, rarely speaks out of character and says the majority of interviewers he meets seek assurance that he’s not pranking them too. Myself included.

His stitch-ups take months to plan and a successful execution can result in global mass media coverage.

Simon’s most headline-grabbing stunts include dropping swastika- inscribed golf balls at the feet of Donald Trump at his Turnberry golf club in Ayrshire in 2016, throwing cash at corrupt Fifa boss Blatter in 2015 and storming the stage at Kanye’s Glastonbury set the same year, plus handing Prime Minister Theresa May a P45 at the 2017 Tory conference before telling her that her rival Boris Johnson put him up to it.

PUBLICLY HUMILIATED

But what happens away from the cameras after the stunts have been carried out? Has he ever been roughed up by the heavies who protect the incredibly powerful figures he has just publicly humiliated?

Simon says: “With the Trump one, it was a bit of a lottery who would get to me first as there were so many different law enforcements there, but thankfully it was the Scottish police.

“What would you rather be — waterboarded by the FBI or interrogated by the Scottish police?

“They grabbed me, took me away and bundled me into a van.

“I was crapping myself for a little while and this big, burly officer yanked open the door and said in the most Scottish of accents, ‘Yous, mate, are very f***ing funny.’ And they treated me great.

“Another one gave me a sip of his Irn-Bru out of love. Then another asked if he could get my signature. They were super-nice and persuaded the Trumpets not to press charges.”

And what happened after he showered Fifa president Blatter with dollar bills during a news conference at Fifa HQ in Switzerland in the guise of his footballer character Bent?

Blatter temporarily suspended the conference and Simon says: “We both left the room like naughty kids in class, like one kid punched another.

“He said to me, ‘You should be ashamed of yourself.’ I replied, ‘If either one of us should be ashamed here, it’s not me.’

“I was then taken to a cell but the police knew I wasn’t a threat. They’re used to proper criminals and they’re looking at me, going, ‘Is this really what I trained for? For this little f***er?’

“They started to make jokes and loosened my handcuffs. Later they’d be knocking on my cell door, saying it was all over the internet.”

He may have got off lightly that time, but after humiliating Trump, he was subjected to sickening abuse on social media. It included anti-Semitic vitriol sparked by white supremacist David Duke, former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, outing Simon’s Jewish heritage to Trump supporters.

He recalls: “They were spouting, ‘Burn the Jew’, ‘Gas the Jew’. When you look at them in their robes you laugh but they have killed people in their time.

“They’re not people you want to be messing with.”

He adds: “I don’t think anything I do warrants getting shot and killed but it does come with the territory. I go into places I shouldn’t be going and doing things I shouldn’t be doing so when I am in the handcuffs I’m not thinking, ‘Oh my god, this is a miscarriage of justice’.

“It’s when the real world, real people and real things collide with a comedy moment. That’s what a stunt is. But it’s like a joke.

'SMOKING WEED'

“Some people are going to think it’s the funniest thing ever and others will say they don’t get it. But I don’t want people to feel sorry for me.”

Simon has always been a wind-up merchant, even when he was growing up in the privileged part of North London, Hampstead Garden Suburb.

His parents were both solicitors of German and Russian descent who ran their own family law firm, his mum specialising in conveyancing while his dad concentrated on legal aid immigration.

It meant that Simon and his older brother could attend a local all-boys fee-paying school. Speaking about the area, Simon says: “It was so middle-class you ask a kid what four times four is and they’ll say, ‘Range Rover’.”

At school he recalls other pupils campaigning for him to be removed from their form group because he was so disruptive in class.

He says: “I was always naughty at school, I got into lots of trouble. I once got suspended for smoking weed, even though it wasn’t in school. In hindsight it’s a great injustice.

“We were smoking at a party, word got round, and someone’s parent reported us to the school.”

Despite his wayward behaviour he managed to get a place at Manchester University studying medicine. Following a series of resits he qualified, and began work as a junior doctor, but quit after just a year.

He says: “I did a bit of A&E, a bit of medicine, bit of surgery, a bit of general practice. It wasn’t fun, it was bloody hard work.

“I was living in these Eastern European-style dormitories, with paint peeling off.

“You are living in the hospital with barely any interaction with people, as other doctors you bumped into had just come off after a huge shift and just wanted to go to bed.”

Simon moved back to London, determined to make a career in comedy, and hand-delivered DVDs of his work to agents and production companies across London.

He got an instant response from Channel 4, which recommended an agent who secured a part in his first comedy, From Baghdad To Balham.

It was about an Iraqi doctor who escaped Saddam Hussein’s dictatorship to come to London but couldn’t practise medicine, forcing him to busk on the Tube.

He then started writing with Harry Hill, who persuaded him to work with his agent, sparking another career boost.

Simon, who is married with two children aged ten and seven, then developed his character Lee Nelson, in both a stand-up act and his own BBC3 TV show.

Lee sparked Simon’s first major stunt when a real-life policeman chased him down London’s Oxford Street after he stole his own DVD from HMV,

But after making a name in comedy through his characters, he now wants to show the world what the real Simon Brodkin is like.

He says: “The stunts started to become less about a particular character and more about me. So it felt like the time was right to get on stage as me and do proper stand-up, which led to my Edinburgh show at the Fringe.”

And despite his reputation he assures me it’s not a wind-up, adding: “I promise it’s not a stunt — I’m not going round theatres stunting people en masse.”

  • Simon is on a 47-date nationwide tour, 100% Simon Brodkin, starting at Leicester Square Theatre, London on November 15. For details see simonbrodkin.com.

Katie Holmes Says She and Daughter Suri, 13, 'Grew Up Together'

Katie Holmes shares a special bond with her 13-year-old daughter, Suri, since she welcomed her at age 27.

“I was happy to become a mom in my 20s,” the actress, 40, revealed in her Elle UK December cover story, published on Monday, November 4. “It’s been nice that our ages fit. How do I put this? Every age that my child has been and my age at that time has been a good match. We kind of grew up together.”

The Miss Meadows star and her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, welcomed their daughter in 2006. The former couple split six years later, and Holmes now lives with their little one in New York City.

The Ohio native keeps their apartment “really homey,” she explained to the magazine, adding, “I have a lot of pictures. I like vintage art from flea markets. Because we’re in New York, I want our apartment to be very cozy and soft — the city around us is so intense and hard. So that’s our style. And a lot of colors.”

When it comes to the outside world, the Dawson’s Creek alum is “of course worried” about Suri encountering bad influences. “Doesn’t every parent [worry about that]?” she asked. “There is so much bad news and hate and things that don’t make sense. The atmosphere around the world is … terrifying.”

In April, a source told Us Weekly exclusively that Suri is “a great kid,” explaining, “She is so sweet and well-mannered. She’s extremely polite and respectful. She’s just a good girl who is a joy to be around. Katie has done things right with her because she’s very grounded and down to earth. She doesn’t come across as spoiled or like a celebrity kid at all. She’s kind and she always shows gratitude.”

The insider added, “She’s a normal tween. She loves pop music and fashion and hanging out with her friends. She’s into ballet and dancing. That’s one of her favorite hobbies. She’s curious and loves to learn. She does well in school. She’s close to her grandparents and aunts. They are a close-knit family and have done everything they can to be there for her and to help with her upbringing.”

Cruise, 57, hasn’t been seen in public with his now-teenage daughter since 2013.

James Van Der Beek Says Women Suffer Too Much Blame After Miscarriages

James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly’s most recent pregnancy announcement didn’t feature a sonogram photo or a decorative letterboard. Instead, the couple shared a family portrait and a somewhat somber reflection on their fertility history: they had experienced three miscarriages throughout their marriage.

The message aimed to break down stigmas and erase the shame so many people feel. “Miscarriage (a word that needs replacement — nobody failed to ‘carry,’ these things sometimes just happen) is something that people rarely talk about, and often go through in secret,” Van Der Beek wrote.  “But there needs to be zero shame around it, or around giving yourself the time and space to grieve.”

Nearly a month later, the Van Der Beeks are still putting their message into action. Recently, the couple discussed the emotional toll miscarriages have on both parents in an upcoming issue of People magazine, emphasizing that, far too often, women internalize blame.

View this post on Instagram

Thrilled beyond belief to announce that another little bundle of joy has picked us to be their family. We chose to have our first ultrasound on camera with our #DWTS crew capturing the result – something I NEVER thought we’d ever do… but @vanderkimberly and I have been through three of those first appointments to discover either no heartbeat, or no baby, and she wanted to share this moment. Miscarriage (a word that needs a replacement – nobody failed to “carry”, these things sometimes just happen) is something that people rarely talk about, and often go through in secret. But there needs to be zero shame around it, or around giving yourself the time and space to grieve. We decided to put ourselves out there – not knowing what we’d find – in an effort to chip away at any senseless stigma around this experience and to encourage people who might be going through it to open themselves up to love & support from friends and family when they need it most. Happily, for us – this time- we walked out with tears of joy. #AndThenIDancedAQuickStep. • Pic by @jilliangoulding

A post shared by James Van Der Beek (@vanderjames) on

“‘She miscarried’ puts not even subtle blame on the mother, but in all but the most extreme cases, there is nothing the mother did or didn’t do,” the Dancing with the Stars contestant told People.

Approximately 10-20% of pregnancies result in a miscarriage. A 2015 study published in The Primary Care Companion for CNS Disorders found that of the women and non-binary people who miscarry, 20% “become symptomatic for depression and/or anxiety,” as they grapple with feelings of loss and guilt.

Of course, miscarriages affect men, as well; though, Van Der Beek speculated that they may be less likely to open up about their feelings.

“It’s a natural reaction to reason your way out of pain,” he added. “Especially for guys. But I want to encourage people to give themselves space to grieve the loss of that expectation, of that dream. You can support each other. And by talking with friends, you’re not being secretive, and the people closest to you can help you through this thing, which is a major life event.”

Unfortunately, not everyone who has experienced a miscarriage is aware of or has access to helpful resources. The same study mentioned earlier found that 90% of women wanted their physicians to provide specialized physical and mental care to help them process miscarriages; sadly, only 30% reported that they received it. The problem could come from training, the study speculates, though it’s also possible that the issue stems from broader systemic issues, such as cultural stigmas, inaccessible healthcare, and pervasive racism.

Van Der Beek and Brook join a lengthy list of celebrities who have had miscarriages and have shared their stories. Others include Beyoncé, Gabrielle Union, Demi Moore, and Whitney Port. Together, these stars are changing the narrative and normalizing the emotionally wrought experience. With time and support, hopefully their sentiments can fundamentally change not only the conversation but the availability of resources, as well.

Peru Two drugs mule says she hopes her twins will learn from her

‘I don’t want them being lost in life’: Peru Two drugs mule Michaella McCollum says she hopes her twin sons will learn from her experiences as she reveals she is still in touch with ‘very happy’ fellow smuggler Melissa Reid

  • Michaella McCollum tried to smuggle £1.5million worth of cocaine out of Peru
  • She was jailed for six years for crimes along with fellow smuggler Melissa Reid
  • Miss McCollum she said she hoped her sons would one day read her new book
  • She added that she is still in touch with Miss Reid and that ‘she is very happy’

Peru Two drugs mule Michaella McCollum has revealed her hopes that her new twin sons will learn from her experiences of being jailed for drug trafficking.

The 26-year-old was arrested in 2013 along with Melissa Reid for attempting to smuggle £1.5million worth of cocaine out of Peru.

Both claimed armed gangsters had forced them to carry the cocaine – when in fact they had willingly smuggled the drugs for a £5,000 payment.

Miss McCollum was jailed for six years for her crimes but is now living back in Northern Ireland, where she is bringing up two sons born last year.

Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine about the release of her new book documenting her time in a Peruvian prison, she said she hoped her children would one day read her story.

Michaella McCollum (left), from County Tyrone, Northern Ireland, was jailed in 2013 after she and Melissa Reid (right) tried to smuggle £1.5million worth of cocaine from Peru into Spain

‘I hope my children can learn from my experiences,’ she said. ‘I don’t want them taking drugs and being lost in life, and the book can be a guidelines for themselves.

‘I feel like I’m so detached from that person, I feel like people do judge me a lot. There was lots of opinions on me.

It was the harshest way I could have learned some lessons in life. You need hardship to learn, I’m so glad it happened and it pulled me out of a dark place.’

Speaking about bringing up her two sons without help from the children’s father, she added: ‘It’s not how I envisaged things.

Miss McCollum was jailed for six years for her crimes but is now living back in Northern Ireland, where she is bringing up two sons (pictured) born last year

‘They are my children and I want the best for them, I was prepared to do it on my own. I’m glad and sad.’

Miss McCollum said that does no longer sees her fellow smuggler Melissa Reid but that the pair were ‘still in touch’, adding: ‘She’s doing good and is very happy.’

The pair had met in Ibiza in 2013 where they were employed by a drug-dealing gang.

They were caught arriving at Lima airport and sentenced to six years and eight months inside a grim jail in the Peruvian capital.

However, they were released after serving three years, with McCollum returning to Northern Ireland in June 2016.

Miss Collum said: At the time I thought £5,000 was a lot of money, that it was easy money, but now I know that £5,000 isn’t a lot of money.

‘The way I saw it I was doing something normal over here, back here drugs are a taboo subject but it felt like a normal thing to do over there.

Speaking to ITV’s Lorraine about the release of her new book documenting her time in a Peruvian prison, she said she hoped her children would one day read her story

Miss McCollum said that does no longer sees her fellow smuggler Melissa Reid but that the pair were ‘still in touch’, adding: ‘She’s doing good and is very happy’

‘I think a couple of days before I got arrested I had this overwhelming feeling of fear.

‘I didn’t know anything about drug trafficking, but I didn’t really think about what would happen to me or my family, I was just going through the motions.

‘I think the worst thing is my family didn’t know where I was, the world was on their shoulders worrying what was going to happen to me, they went through that trauma.

‘If I do make money from it, and I was never driven to make money from this, but if I do my family would be my priority.’

WHO ARE THE PERU TWO?

Melissa Reid and Michaella McCollum Connolly were arrested in August 2013 for attempting to smuggle £1.5million (€1.75 million) worth of cocaine out of Peru.

In June 2013, McCollum had travelled to Balearic island Ibiza to work as a dancer in a bar for that summer.

On July 31, Reid flew to South America while McCollum followed a day later.

Melissa Reid and Michaella McCollum Connolly were arrested in August 2013 for attempting to smuggle £1.5million (€1.75 million) worth of cocaine out of Peru

The women, then aged just 19 and 20, carried the cocaine in food packages hidden in their luggage. Reid revealed that there was so much cocaine they were only able to fit in a few items of clothing to cover it

On August 6, McCollum was reported missing to the Police Service of Northern Ireland by her family, the same day as her arrest.

The duo were seized at Lima airport with 11kg of the Class A drug in their suitcases as they tried to check-in for a flight to Spain.

At the time of their arrest the women’s families had believed that they were in Ibiza doing bar work.

Following their arrest on August 6, the pair claimed they had been kidnapped by an armed gang and flown to Peru.

The women, who did not know each other beforehand, claim they were unwittingly introduced by friends to drugs runners, who threatened their families if they did not agree to smuggle cocaine.

The duo were sentenced to six years in prison but both served under half of that

Their story was described as ‘illogical’ and they later pleaded guilty to drug trafficking, but claimed they were doing so to secure a more lenient sentence.

During their sentencing in December 2013 the women learned they had escaped the most severe 15-year penalty in return for pleading guilty and passing on information about the gang that supplied the drugs.

On December 17 2013 Reid and McCollum were sentenced to six years and eight months in jail at the notorious Santa Monica prison in Chorrillo.

While their original sentence was due to last until April 2020 both women served a reduced sentence.

McCollum was released on parole in March 2015 after serving less than half of her sentence but was required to stay in Peru until February 2016.

Reid returned to the UK in June 2016 after serving just under half of her six-year prison sentence.

Kanye West Says He Wants 3 More Kids, Kim Kardashian Says She's Done

Someone might want to tell Kanye West that his wife, Kim Kardashian, is “definitely done” having kids. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star told E! News recently that four children was plenty for her — but her rapper husband apparently hasn’t gotten the memo. West appeared on The Late Late Show just days later, saying that he wanted to expand his brood — by three.

“[I want] seven kids. The richest thing that you can have is as many children as possible,” West told host James Corden. Gulp.

We’d argue that the richest thing you can have is a fab marriage, full of communication and compromise, but hey, what do we know, as mere bargain-shopping, subway-taking mortals?

West and Kardashian already share North, 6, Saint, 3, Chicago, 21 months, and Psalm, 5 months. West told Corden that he doesn’t “like going out at nighttime” because he’s always “at home with my family at night as much as possible.”

West elaborated about the typical Kardashian-West evening: “We’ll eat dinner and we’ll play with the kids and then we’ll put the kids to bed and then we go to bed. And then my wife watches Dateline [and] I read the Bible.”

Looks like West didn’t make it to Bible study on this particular evening, which made it onto his Instagram:

We’d give anything to know what Kardashian’s take on West’s interview reveal is right now. In August, during a Q&A session on her Instagram Story, she replied to a fan who inquired if she wanted more children, “I LOVE my babies so much but 4 is all I can handle with how busy I am, and each one of my babies needs so much attention.”

We’re thinking we’re not wrong when we include Kanye in Kim’s attention count, as in an April 2018 interview with Elle, she confessed, “I don’t think I could handle more than [four]. My time is spread really thin. And I think it’s important that in all couples, the mom gives the husband as much attention as the kids.” Ahem. No word on how much attention the husband should be giving the wife in this deal.

Maybe we should all just take everything Kanye says with a big grain of salt. West also told James Corden that the massive tax refund he received this year — all $68 million of it — is a gift from God for his becoming a born-again Christian.

“God is using me to show off,” West told Corden.

Welp, let’s hope God leaves Kim out of this and honors her four-kids-I’m-done vow, even if West isn’t listening.

Meghan McCain says she leaned on ‘View’ co-host Abby Huntsman during ‘horrific’ miscarriage

Meghan McCain speaks on stage at TrevorLIVE New York at Pier Sixty at Chelsea Piers on June 17, 2013 in New York City. Although Meghan's political affiliation is Republican, she has been an advocate for the LGBTQ+ community throughout her time in the public eye. (Photo: Michael Loccisano, Getty Images)

Meghan McCain broke her silence about a “horrendous” miscarriage she suffered in an op-ed for the New York Times in July.

Now, “The View” co-host is continuing to share her story in the hopes other women going through loss don’t feel so alone.

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, so McCain reflected on her experience for “Good Morning America.”

“I don’t want to be the face of death and miscarriage, but I also feel like life throws things at you that are unexpected and you have to roll with the punches. And I would rather continue to open up dialogues and conversations,” she told the outlet. “I just hope that women out there know that they aren’t alone and they haven’t done anything wrong. And that the pain is real and it’s totally understandable.”

McCain, who married conservative pundit Ben Domenech in November 2017, shared in both an op-ed and to “GMA” that she blamed herself for the miscarriage. She blamed her “stressful life,” her age and even her personality.

But the co-host is learning now that those thoughts were not “rational” and since then she has tried to be easier on herself.

“It’s not easy being a woman. It’s just not. And I know how hard I was on myself and I’m sure a lot of women do the same thing. And you just feel really alone.”

Meghan McCain on husband Ben Domenech: ‘Conservative men have better family values’

Vanna White: ‘Wheel of Fortune’ fans and family helped her through miscarriage, fiance’s death

McCain also shared that she leaned on her friend and co-host Abby Huntsman, who at the time was pregnant with twins. She recognized that the dynamic could have been difficult, both for Hunstman to watch while pregnant, but also for McCain to be “going through a miscarriage while she was pregnant.”

“I think it’s intense to give birth to twins too. And it’s a very specific moment in time that was very, very hard for both of us that made us bond.”

McCain also spoke about experiencing the miscarriage right around the 1-year anniversary of her father’s death. The late Arizona Sen. John McCain died Aug. 25, 2018 from cancer.

“My dad was like, the ending of a beautiful long-lived life and I grieve that and the way I grieved having a miscarriage, and grieved my daughter was what could have been,” she told “GMA.”

“It’s hard. It’s just really, really, really hard, and I empathize with all women who have gone through it and who may go through it. It’s just horrific. And it doesn’t really get easier either.”

The co-host ended with a final message to women going through pregnancy loss.

“Whatever you feel is totally fine and totally where you’re supposed to be. And I wish I had heard that.”

Meghan King says she's 'broken' as she speaks out about her split

Meghan King says she’s ‘broken’ as she speaks out about her split from husband Jim Edmonds in blog post… and claims he went ‘partying and drinking with younger women’ including ‘several of our babysitters’ and his daughter

  • Meghan broke her silence on Tuesday afternoon on her blog
  • Meghan accused her husband of ‘having an affair’ with the nanny
  • He was previously caught sexting another woman during Meghan’s pregnancy
  • Edmonds has strongly denied he has been sleeping with his 22-year-old nanny
  • The former baseball player filed paperwork to end the marriage on Friday
  • Now the nanny, Carly Wilson, tweeted ‘be kind’ as she denied any affair
  • Edmonds’ daughter Hayley said ‘I’ve been waiting for it. For probably… three years?’

The drama between Real Housewives of Orange County’s Meghan King and her estranged ex Jim Edmonds has turned nasty, with his daughter calling her a ‘selfish’ stepmom.

And Meghan King has taken to her blog to speak on the cheating accusations as well as more accusations about Jim.

The reality star, 35, said she is ‘broken for my family. I am buried in despair. I cry at the despair’ as well as claiming that her husband went ‘drinking and partying’ with ‘several’ of the babysitters and his daughter Hayley, 22, was ‘present.’

Candid: Meghan King has taken to her blog to speak on the cheating accusations as well as more accusations about Jim

Jim, 49, was previously caught having a sexting affair with a woman before during and after Meghan’s pregnancy with their twins Hayes and Hart.

In the lengthy blog post she shared, which she titled, ‘Broken,’ she said that four months after she found out about his affair, sje found out their son Hart had a life-long brain injury.

The mother of three revealed that her family rallied behind them and reached out to Jim to say they supported their marriage and that they loved him and hope he would put effort to fix it.

Adding: ‘His family and closest friends did not reach out to me – the one who was betrayed, the one who had to read on the internet that her husband paid his virtual mistress hush money in an attempt to bury the truth.’

Meghan claimed that they blamed her for his sexting, pointing at her blog or her social media following, noting that no one called or texted her about their brain injured son.

She wrote in her blog that it was one of her hardest times in her life and she was being ‘blamed’ by his family for it: ‘It was heartbreaking to realize that I did not have the love or support of Jim’s family – instead they were actively ignoring me or trying to further sabotage our marriage. Family dynamics are complicated – ours more so than most – but I still expected more from them. That hurt.’

Meghan wrote that ‘anyone who has lived through infidelity knows how difficult it is to overcome and regain a strong marriage. It requires both people to be all in. It requires the betrayer to put in the time and effort to repair the trust that was broken.’

Thoughts: The reality star, 35, said she is ‘broken for my family. I am buried in despair. I cry at the despair’ as well as claiming that her husband went ‘drinking and partying’ with ‘several’ of the babysitters and his daughter Hayley, 22, was ‘present’

Adding: ‘In the wake of the sexting scandal, my husband was drinking and partying with much younger women, including several of our babysitters, and I found this gallivanting inappropriate, immature, and downright odd.’

She continued: ‘While I initially wrote it off because during several of these outing, his 22-year-old daughter was present, given his previous indiscretions, I was uncomfortable.’

Meghan added: ‘Even more so when he started lying about where he was going or who he was going with – and deleting entire text conversations on his phone with several of these young women.’

The mother of three said that after his sexting affair he agreed with their therapist to never delete messages or conversations and also allow his location to be available on his phone.

Throwback: Meghan added: ‘Even more so when he started lying about where he was going or who he was going with – and deleting entire text conversations on his phone with several of these young women’

Meghan revealed that she found out he went to a hockey game with one of their babysitters, he ‘lied about’ it and he refused to include her on text messages.

She did however say that she doesn’t know if he slept with any of their babysitters or if they ‘were just being exceedingly inappropriate by hanging out social without either of them telling me (and Jim expressly lying to me about it.’

The star thinks he did not sleep with them but she says she doesn’t get ‘why he’d lie’ and why the babysitter would too.

She said that she loves her husband and is ‘devastated that our marriage is being broken up in the ugliest and messiest way. I am sad that members of Jim’s family are reveling in our demise. And I am saddest for the children.’

The star continued: ‘My step kids, Landon and Sutton, have lost a stepmother whom they love and will have to endure another divorce and broken home in their short lifetime. And my three babies who will likely never remember their parents being married.’

Meghan said that she promises to ‘facilitate healthy, consistent, and ongoing relationships with their father and with his family despite the hurt I feel from them because my children should not reap the karma of my personal situations.’

Ending the post with a quote: ‘When you’re in a dark place, you sometimes tend to think you’ve been buried. Perhaps you’ve been planted. Bloom.’

On her mind: Ending the post with a quote: ‘When you’re in a dark place, you sometimes tend to think you’ve been buried. Perhaps you’ve been planted. Bloom’

Meanwhile, Carly Wilson, who is just 22 and one of four nannies employed by the couple to care for their three young children, has strongly denied any accusation of infidelity, and asked the reality star to ‘be kind’.

Via Instagram she wrote: ‘In the past week, allegations have been made about me which are not based in fact. I have not and never would participate in any action involving infidelity.

‘I consider this a private matter in someone else’s marriage and will not comment on it further.’ Tagging her post ‘be kind’, she finished with ‘I wish the entire family well.’

Meghan’s nanny Carly Wilson begged star ‘be kind’ in an Instagram post on Monday night

Accused: Carly holding Meghan’s child from the RHOC star’s blog; she denied any wrongdoing

Part of the family: Meghan posted this image when Carly turned 21, showing the nanny with the reality star’s daughter Aspen

Jim Edmonds also denied the accusations and came to his nanny’s defense in some comments on her social media post.

Instagram account Comments by Bravo, first noticed that Jim posted a message in defense of Carly after another user accused her of deleting pictures of Jim and her boyfriend.

The user penned: ‘An innocent person would not delete photos with Jim and then delete her bf pics. If you are innocent you leave it all up because supposedly nothing happened.’

Jim himself actually replied to the shade: ‘She is scared to death and 22 years old. What would you do?’

The digital sparring match continued when another user answered Jim’s seemingly rhetorical question.

In defense: Jim Edmonds denied the accusations and came to his nanny’s defense in some comments on her social media post that were spotted by Comments by Bravo

Jim himself replied to haters: ‘She is scared to death and 22 years old. What would you do?’

‘@jimedmonds5 delete all the comments and make my account private. Oh and I would NOT go alone to events with my married boss.’

Jim responded again directly to the criticism: ‘I didn’t take her to the event by myself. Get your facts straight. I was with my best friend and his child.’

He continued: ‘I was trying to do something nice for the girl who just had her boyfriend dumped her. She has [been] like a daughter to me and all of this bulls**t will not change that.’

In another exchange a hater called out the former MLB player for coming to Carly’s defense after he said the rumors were ‘not true.’

Carly has been a staple in the Edmonds household since Jim and Meghan’s daughter Aspen was born two years ago, and even had a major shoutout on Meghan’s lifestyle blog with a post titled: ‘It Takes A Village.’

Carly’s words come as Meghan’s stepdaughter, Hayley Edmonds, spoke out to insist she’s been ‘waiting’ for her baseball star dad Jim Edmonds to divorce her reality star stepmom.

Hayley, 22, told Us Weekly: ‘I’ve been waiting for it. For probably… three years? I think it’s impossible to be happy with someone so… I don’t know if I would say narcissistic but, she, like, creates her own problems and loves conflict and things like that. The selfishness is miserable for anyone to be around.

‘My whole family has grown closer because we have all had to stay silent in hopes to protect my dad and no one can do it anymore.’

Speaking out: Carly’s words come as Meghan’s stepdaughter, Hayley Edmonds, spoke out to insist she’s been ‘waiting’ for her baseball star dad Jim Edmonds, 49, to divorce her stepmom

Happy families? Hayley, left, with her dad and stepmom, sister Lauren and brother-in-law, in a throwback picture from Meghan’s Instagram

Hayley moved in with Meghan, 35, and father-of-seven Jim as a teen, as her own mother battled cancer. She was just 17 when her mother, LeAnn Edmonds Horton, sadly died, and her difficult relationship with her stepmom was chronicled on RHOC.

She said of this period: ‘I dropped out of high school to take care of my sick mother and [Meghan] came in and completely manipulated me to get on the show and told me I was making it harder on my mom to be there and I was giving her anxiety and I needed to live with Meghan and give my mom less stress.’

Harsh words: Hayley, left, is seen on her dad and Meghan’s wedding day in 2014 with siblings Landon, Sutton and Lauren

Like his daughter, Jim is also speaking out. The 49-year-old former baseball pro took to social media on Monday morning to deny all claims of an extramarital affair with their help.

Jim accused Meghan of being ‘disgusting and irresponsible’ and said while ‘we all make mistakes, this is not one of those times.’

His post began: ‘** BREAKING NEWS ** It’s one thing to be accused of something. It’s another thing to be so negligent and so careless, and ruin the lives of innocent young people.

‘I did not sleep with our nanny. She’s not just a nanny, she is someone that we brought into our house and promised to protect and look after while she was in our home. We have been treating and raising this young girl like she is our own child! For someone to accuse me of sleeping with her is not only wrong, it’s disgusting and irresponsible.’

He continued: ‘Just because I am an athlete and I was portrayed as a bad person on Bravo TV. Doesn’t mean I don’t have a clue what life is all about. We made a promise to that young girls mom, that We would take care of her and make sure that she was safe while she was in our hands.’

The former athlete went on to say he would not be standing for the lies and is ‘fighting back’ to ensure the ‘truth’ is out there.

Straight from JE: Jim’s note was lengthy as he denied any intimacy with the 22-year-old

‘I will not sit here and take this bulls**t without fighting back. Just because you’re extremely whitty and intelligent, and know how to play the Instagram game. Doesn’t give you the right to use that platform to wrongfully accuse. Not only is it irresponsible. It is dangerous and puts my family in harms way. We all make mistakes. This is not one of those times.’

He ended the caption with: ‘My heart is broken for everyone involved. if you get anything out of this post. Get the truth.’

Jim filed for divorce from the former Real Housewives of Orange County vet on Friday, just a day after the couple’s five-year wedding anniversary.

Just last week Meghan revealed the pair were working on their relationship and attending couple’s therapy, as she sat down with Bravo’s Daily Dish.

She insisted she wanted to stay together for the sake of their young children.

Speaking on Wednesday, she said the pair would be heading to a joint therapy session straight after the interview.

She explained: ‘I think after such a breach of trust, it’s so hard to rebuild from there, especially [with] so many distractions, like our son’s health problems and two other little babies, as well. And so to focus on the two of us as a couple, is really hard.’

Meghan said she owed it to her children to give their father a chance at redemption after his indiscretion.

‘I’m hurt right now and our life is massively affected, but if we were to split just because of his indiscretion then there’s multiple other people who are affected, as well.’

Just four months ago Jim, who played in the outfield for the Los Angeles Angels and St. Louis Cardinals, was exposed as sending explicit messages to baseball groupie Jennifer Villegas, while Meghan was pregnant with their twins.

He even sent a video showing him pleasuring himself the same day Meghan was in hospital preparing to give birth to twins Hart and Hayes.

He maintains the relationship was never physical.

Meghan and Jim wed in October 2014 and share twin sons Hayes and Hart, who are 16-months-old as well as daughter Aspen, two.

Jim is the father of four other children from previous relationships: He shares daughters Lauren and Hayley, 22, with first wife, LeAnn Horton, son Landon, 13, and daughter Sutton, 10, with second wife Allison Jayne Raski.

Real Housewives Of Orange County star LeAnn Horton passed away of colon cancer in 2015 aged just 45.

The cheating revelations came as Meghan and Jim dealt with their son Hart’s health struggles.

Meghan has been candidly sharing her son’s progress in his therapy after doctors diagnosed him with brain damage, known clinically as periventricular leukomalacia.

Close: Meghan has previously gushed over Nanny Carly on her blog for her help with her kids

Dealing with Hart’s treatment has kept Meghan away from home as she’s recently been seeking intensive treatment for the toddler in New Orleans, while her other two children remained at home in Missouri.

Additionally Meghan has been taking some time back in Los Angeles. The family moved out of California following the end of her time of RHOC.

Earlier this month the reality star gave followers a tour of the family’s sprawling St. Louis mansion, which is currently in the midst of being remodeled.

The couple have been working on the home together for some time, and she pointed out Jim’s office and walk-in closet in the video. The huge home also included a bowling alley and basketball court, and at the time of filming was still awaiting some final touches.

Meghan recently returned to the Bravo universe with an appearance on Real Housewives Of Orange County earlier this month.

Baring all: Meghan shared a makeup free selfie amid the drama on Saturday

Jason Garrett Says He Expects Michael Bennett To Stand For National Anthem

Jason Garrett says he expects Michael Bennett to stand for the national anthem like the rest of the Dallas Cowboys … telling reporters, “We anticipate him doing what all of our players do.”

The Cowboys just traded for Bennett last week — pulling the DE out of New England for a draft pick — but many have wondered how Bennett will handle pregame anthems in Dallas.

Remember, MB has sat for the song in the past as a protest of racial injustices in America … and during his time with the Patriots this year, he’s just stayed in the locker room for the ceremony.

But, under Jerry Jones‘ watch, he’s been adamant that Dallas players stand for the anthem — regardless of their personal beliefs.

Star Cowboys players like QB Dak Prescott have supported the team’s position in the past — with Dak saying in 2018, “I never protest during the anthem and I don’t think that’s the time or venue to do so.”

When Garrett was asked about all of that on Tuesday, he said, “We don’t anticipate that being an issue.”

Jones also said on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas on Tuesday that he believes the same thing, saying, “I’m satisfied that, in Michael, we’ve got a player who knows how we do it here with the Cowboys.”

The Dallas Morning News reports that Bennett and the Cowboys reached an agreement before the trade went through that he would stand on the sideline for the anthem in Dallas.

Bennett has yet to address the media regarding the issue … but he’s expected to speak with reporters sometime this week.

As for Bennett’s first game with the Cowboys … they take on the Giants on “Monday Night Football” next week.

Kanye West says it feels like he's been married for '500 years'

Kanye West claims he made marriage ‘cool’, feels like he wed Kim Kardashian ‘500 years’ ago and reveals they plan to have SEVEN children as he makes Airpool Karaoke debut

His wedding to Kim Kardashian made the world’s media in May 2014.

Now Kanye West has claimed that it feels as though he’s been married for ‘500 years’ and insisted that marriage was ‘uncool’ until he tied the knot.

Appearing on a special ‘Airpool Karaoke’ segment on The Late Late Show with James Corden, the 42-year-old rapper spoke candidly about his relationship with Kim, 39, even admitting that they plan to have seven children.

Kanye, who just dropped his ninth studio album Jesus Is King last week, has been married to Kim for five years, but claimed marriage years are longer than human years.

He went on to compare ‘marriage years’ to ‘dog years,’ with one dog year equivalent to seven human years, though every ‘marriage year’ is equal to 100 human years.

The rapper added that it feels like he’s been married to the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star for ‘500 years.’

Kanye continued: ‘People thought it would be uncool to be married, and then I got married and people thought “oh that looks cool”.

Kim was famously married to

He continued: ‘It’s more than cool, more than cool as hell or something, It’s heavenly, it’s great, it’s magnificent.’

James had been trying to get West on Carpool Karaoke only to have Kanye cancel on him twice, but the third time was the charm, it seems.

Chrissy Teigen says she 'hasn't been feeling herself lately'

Chrissy Teigen admits she ‘hasn’t been feeling like herself lately’ and thanks supportive husband John Legend for flying from London to LA just to cheer her up

She regularly takes to social media to mock her husband John Legend.

But Chrissy Teigen took a different route on Sunday morning, praising the singer for his kindness as she’s ‘not been feeling like herself lately.’

The 33-year-old beauty took to Twitter to reveal the 40-year-old star had flown from London to Los Angeles just to have dinner and binge-watch TV with her.

True love: Chrissy Teigen thanked her husband John Legend on Sunday, confessing that he had flown all the way to LA from London to be with her as she ‘hasn’t been feeling herself lately’

‘I do not normally brag about john, as it is my schtick to make fun of him always, but he flew from London to LA instead of London to DC to have dinner with me and watch love island UK because I haven’t been feeling like myself lately,’ she penned.

‘Just a few hours but it meant a lot. Thank u.’

Chrissy joked that John flew with an airline that he doesn’t particularly like to get to his wife the quickest.

‘AND he had to fly on his least favorite airline. That is love,’ she added.

Clearly feeling happier, Chrissy took to social media after spending the morning with her two children, Luna Simone, three, and Miles Theodore, one.

Sweet: The 33-year-old beauty took to Twitter to reveal the 40-year-old star had flown from London to Los Angeles just to have dinner and binge-watch TV with her

Supportive spouse: Chrissy was immensely cheered by John after confessing she wasn’t feeling like herself at the moment

The beauty was make-up free as she covered Miles with kisses.

She shared a video of Luna putting on some face paint on herself to transform into a cat for Halloween.

The three-year-old cutie appeared to be very focused on getting the paint perfectly on her tiny pout as she looked at herself through the mirror.

Chrissy’s mental health admission comes after she was forced to defend her eating habits back in March following her weight gain after her second child.

Baby love: Clearly feeling happier, Chrissy took to social media after spending the morning with her two children, Luna Simone, three, and Miles Theodore, one

Just like mama: She shared a video of Luna putting on some face paint on herself to transform into a cat for Halloween

Serious: The three-year-old appeared to be very focused on getting the paint perfectly on her tiny pout as she looked at herself through the mirror

‘”How do you eat like this??” – basically I am 20 pounds heavier than I was before miles,’ she began.

‘He’s 10 months old, I never lost the last bit because I just love food too much. Just coming to terms with my new normal, when I had this certain number for so long!’

Chrissy continued to share that she’s happier 20lbs heavier than ever before.

‘the thinnest I’ve ever been was right after Luna,’ she began.

‘Postpartum depression. I’LL TAKE THESE POUNDS AND THIS FEELING!’

Chrissy opened up about her PPD in an essay for Glamour in March 2017.

Going strong: Chrissy and John celebrated their five year anniversary earlier in the year (pictured 2018)

The Cravings blogger revealed it had crept up on her and first came to light three months after giving birth to Luna Simone in April 2016.

‘I started looking at food and was like, “I’m just not in the mood,”‘ she told People later on in September 2017.

‘It’s like going to the grocery store when you’re full. You just don’t want the same things. Food wasn’t thrilling for me.’

The essay saw Chrissy detail that she was skipping food for days and unable to leave the house besides to go to work at Lip Sync Battle.

‘Getting out of bed to get to set on time was painful,’ she recalled.

Speaking out: Chrissy’s mental health admission comes after she was forced to defend her eating habits back in March following her weight gain after her second child

Out of nowhere: The wife of John Legend revealed PPD had crept up on her and first came to light three months after giving birth to Luna Simone in April 2016 (pictured together in August this year)

‘My lower back throbbed; my shoulders – even my wrists – hurt. I didn’t have an appetite. I would go two days without a bite of food, and you know how big a deal food is for me.’

Giving birth to Miles Theodore in May 2018, she has since revealed she ate her placenta as a way to avoid PPD for the second time.

‘It sounds ridiculous, but people have this belief that if you eat your placenta, it gets all those nutrients that you lost when you were pregnant, rather than just losing them immediately and losing that rush of endorphins,’ she said on CBS Sunday Morning.

‘By taking these dry pills, you can kind of keep this energy up and be weaned off that feeling more. And I didn’t do that with Luna so… I remember looking back and being like, “I shoulda ate my placenta!”‘

PPD: Chrissy confessed the thinnest she’s ever been was after giving birth to Luna (pictured December 2016)

Jon Gosselin Says Coparenting Won't 'Ever Exist' With Ex-Wife Kate

Separate lives. Jon Gosselin revealed exclusively to Us Weekly that he doesn’t believe he and former wife Kate Gosselin will “ever” be able to coparent their eight children.

Kate and Jon Gosselin’s Drama-Filled History

The Jon and Kate Plus 8 alum, 42, opened about his family life with Kate and their twin daughters, Madelyn and Cara, 18, and sextuplets Collin, Hannah, Leah, Alexis, Aaden and Joel, 15, during a Victoria’s Voice event in Las Vegas on Friday, October 25.

“I don’t think coparenting is ever going to exist between us because we are never going to see eye to eye,” Jon explained. “We have completely different parenting styles and she still wants to film, but I’m never going to sign work permits. That already went to court and I won but she went against my legal rights.”

Jon went on to explain that while he has custody of Collin and Hannah, he rarely gets to visit his other six children and has little-to-no relationship with them due to Kate’s interference.

Now and Then! Take a Look at the Gosselin Family Through the Years

“I agree [that they are my children] but their mother [Kate] puts roadblocks all the way,” the DJ told Us. “So, at this point I’ve agreed that as long as Hannah and Collin still talk to their siblings and the kids can interact with each other, then that’s fine with me. I’ll go along. And I don’t have no direct contact as of right now.”

Jon and Kate tied the knot in 1999 and welcomed Madelyn and Cara in 2001. The sextuplets were born in 2004 and the family began filming Jon and Kate Plus 8 three years later. Jon left the show in 2009 amid his divorce from Kate, 44. He now says that the hit TLC series has become a cautionary tale for fans.

“It’s weird because our show became almost political, a big controversy,” the part-time prep cook said. “Then I was like, ‘This isn’t for me’ and I wanted to leave. Then I saw a decline in some of my children and I decided this wasn’t for my children and I wanted to take some of them off [the show]. And then for future shows, she was like ‘yes’ and I was saying ‘no,’ and then it became this legal battle because we’re trying to decide what’s right and what’s wrong. Any time there is turmoil, that becomes a media circus. So, here we are.”

Biggest Feuds in Reality TV History

The former reality TV star has been vocal about his children’s desires to stop filming in the past but told Us that he plans to be more reserved when speaking about his kids in the future.

“My twins have asked me not to speak about them to the media and I’ve stopped,” he said. “Their birthday came up and I didn’t say anything. And the two that live with me [Colin and Hannah] I decided that I’m not going to talk about them anymore because now I know they’re safe, they’re OK. And so, I’ve decided to just let all the kids be teenagers. Anything else that comes up will just be about me and her, whatever that might be.”

Vanna White Says 'Wheel of Fortune' Helped Her Cope With Her Fiancé's Death

  • Wheel of Fortune star Vanna White is crediting fans for helping her get through some of the toughest periods of her life.
  • She says fan support helped her cope with the death of her fiancé in 1986.
  • Later, she says fans also reached out with words of comfort after she experienced a miscarriage.

Vanna White, the iconic letter-revealer on Wheel of Fortune, said the show’s passionate fans helped her cope with the death of her fiancé in 1986.

At the time, just four years after Vanna joined Wheel of Fortune, her fiancé—the Young and the Restless actor John Gibson—died in a plane crash near Van Nuys airport in Los Angeles, when the small plane he was flying took a nosedive.

“It was May 17, 1986,” Vanna told People. “The second I heard about it, I fell to my knees. It was just devastating.”

Following John’s death, she received an outpouring of support from the show’s audience. “I heard from so many people who had shared the same experience of losing someone instantly in an accident, and that really helped me,” she said. “I didn’t feel like I was alone. Because when something like that happens, you immediately think you’re the only one.”

Four years after John’s death, she married George Santo Pietro, a restauranteur. But the faced a tragedy in 1992, when Vanna suffered a miscarriage after announcing her pregnancy on Wheel of Fortune. (The answer? “Vanna’s Pregnant.”)

Again, fan support helped her get through it. “You have to take their support and try to be strong. It’s so hard, but you just have to think, ‘What would they want me to do?’ Though she later had two “beautiful, healthy” children, she says the miscarriage was traumatic. “But losing a child—there’s nothing good about that.”

Aside from family, friends, and fans, Vanna embraced her faith during these tough times. “I’m a Christian and have always had my own personal relationship with God,” she said. “I don’t preach about it, because everyone’s entitled to their own beliefs. But I pray. I pray every day.”

Joanna Gaines says husband Chip wants more children: ‘There’s never too many’

Chip Gaines and Joanna Gaines shared that they may not be done having kids yet. (Photo: Noam Galai, Getty Images for TIME)

Chip and Joanna Gaines and counting?

In a teaser clip for the “Fixer Upper” couple’s interview with  “Sunday Today’s” Willie Geist, airing Sunday on NBC (8 a.m. ET), Chip expressed how his love and adoration for Joanna makes him want to have more kids with her.

“When you were just saying all those things, my heart just burst open,” Chip said after his wife spoke about parenting lessons they learned. “Like, I could see Crew having a little sibling and me being like, ‘I love this woman!’ “

Joanna jokingly urged Geistto change the subject, sharing how her husband loves having a full house and if it were up to him, they’d continue having kids well into their 50s.

“When I’m 50, Chip’s going to want more kids. Just know, this is going to be the headline forever, ‘Jo’s pregnant again,’ ” Joanna said, adding that her husband with kids is like him with businesses. “There’s never too many.”

“He’s like, ‘I just think we can keep having them,’ ” Joanna continued. “I think Chip just loves a full plate.”

The couple are currently parents to five kids: Drake, 14, Ella Rose, 13, Duke, 11, Emmie Kay, 9, and baby Crew, 1.

Shortly after giving birth to Crew last year, Joanna acknowledged Chip wants a sister for their youngest, an option that still seems to be on thetable. “I love the process of being pregnant,” she told “Today” anchors Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb. “I love giving birth.”

The Gaineses recently added another project to their pile. The couple is opening a boutique hotel in Waco, Texas, in 2021.

Joanna announced the project on her social media channels and in a post on the Magnolia blog. The Gaines’ Magnolia brand includes shops and a restaurant in Waco; an online store that carries clothing, decor and more; and a realty company, among other ventures.

“This fall, we’ll begin renovations on a historic building in downtown Waco, just a few blocks from Magnolia Market at the Silos,” she wrote in the post.

What Taylor Swift Says About Selena Gomez's New Justin Bieber Song

Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez have been close friends for years. The pair has supported each other through countless highs and lows, romantic and otherwise.

Who could forget Swift’s infamous reaction to Gomez’s iconic performance of “The Heart Wants What It Wants” at the 2014 AMAs? Or Selena’s public fangirling and the friends’ lovefest over Taylor Swift’s single “Lover?”

Most recently, Swift spoke up in support of Gomez’s bombshell new single “Lose Me to Love You.” The song is believed to be a final goodbye to Justin Bieber after Gomez’s long-term rocky relationship with the singer.

Gomez’s new single is believed to serve as a last goodbye to Jelena

Jelena breathed its (probably) last breath in early 2018, when Bieber and Gomez finally broke it off in March after years of an on-and-off relationship.

Hailey Baldwin, who had also dated Bieber several times previously, began dating the famous crooner exclusively shortly thereafter. The couple was engaged over the summer and has since had two weddings: a courthouse ceremony in September 2018 and a formal wedding in South Carolina last month.

A post shared by Justin Bieber (@justinbieber) on

Gomez has been fairly open with the press about the heartbreak her A-list relationship has caused her. Fans believe her new single and accompanying black-and-white iPhone-shot music video, “Lose You To Love Me,” chronicle the end of Jelena and Gomez’s decision to move on.

On Oct. 23, shortly after midnight, Gomez released the video, writing on Twitter, “Thank you all for standing by my side through the highs and lows. I couldn’t do it without you all and I can’t wait to start my next adventure with you. Lose You To Love Me is out now.”

‘Lose You to Love Me’ lyrics are heartbreaking and poignant

On Vevo, Gomez wrote of her new single, “This song was inspired by many things that have happened in my life since releasing my last album. I want people to feel hope and to know you will come out the other side stronger and a better version of yourself.”

“Lose You to Love Me” paints a picture of broken promises and Gomez’s frustration over what her ex swore he’d give her. “You promised the world and I fell for it/I put you first and you adored it/Set fires to my forest/And you let it burn,” the song begins.

Later, Gomez appears to reference Baldwin’s and Bieber’s relationship directly when she sings, “I gave my all and they all know it/You turned me down and now it’s showing/In two months, you replaced us/Like it was easy.”

The central message of the song? Self-love. Gomez sings that she had to “lose” her ex in order to find, and love, herself.

Swift voiced her support for her bestie in an Instagram post

Swift has never been shy about voicing her support for Gomez’s work. In fact, she was one of the first to hear Gomez’s 2014 single about Bieber, “The Heart Wants What it Wants.” Gomez said her close friend listened to it “three times” immediately.

Apparently, Swift was in the early listening party for this song, too. Shortly after Gomez shared her new single, Swift took to her Instagram stories to speak out about how much she adored it.

“This song is a perfect expression of healing & my absolute favorite song she’s put out yet. A triumph,” Swift wrote in the post.

She added, “I love you so much @selenagomez.”

Zimbabwe says 55 elephants starved to death in 2 months after drought

Fifty-five elephants starve to death in Zimbabwe in just two months after severe drought

  • Zimbabwe’s biggest national park has seen 55 elephants die in just two months
  • Animals died of starvation following food and water shortages due to drought
  • Other animals such as lions at Hwange National Park have also been affected

At least 55 elephants starved to death in the past two months in Zimbabwe’s biggest national park as a serious drought forces animals to stray into nearby communities in search of food and water.

Zimparks spokesman Tinashe Farawo said the animals had died near water holes dotted around the Hwange National Park, a sign that they had travelled long distances to access water, authorities said today.

Investigations showed that since September at least 55 elephants had died from lack of food and water in the park, which holds the biggest elephant herd of 50,000 animals.

Tinashe Farawo, National Parks and Wildlife Management Authority, spokesman: ‘The problem is real, the situation is dire.’

Other animals such as lions at Hwange National Park have been affected, he added.

This is the worst drought in years in the southern African nation that also suffers from a collapsing economy. Massive food and water shortages have resulted.

An elephant crosses a road at a national park in Hwange, Zimbabwe (file image). At least 55 elephants have starved to death in the past two months in Zimbabwe’s biggest national park

As animals stray from Zimbabwe’s wildlife parks they destroy crops and sometimes kill people, Farawo said, adding that more than 20 people have been killed this year alone.

Overcrowding in Hwange contributes to the destruction of vegetation. The park can handle 15,000 elephants but currently has about 53,000, Farawo said.

Meanwhile the drought is drying up water sources. The wildlife agency has been drilling wells as deep as 400 meters (yards) to find water for the animals.

‘The single biggest threat to our animals now is loss of habitat,’ Farawo said. ‘We have managed to significantly reduce poaching…we were losing hundreds of elephants in past years, but last year we only lost not more than 20 to poaching.’

More than 200 people have died from elephant attacks in the past five years, according to Zimparks (Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority).

The agency was looking to drill more boreholes in Hwange because some existing ones had dried up but it lacked the money, said Farawo. The agency does not get funding from government.

Zimbabwe has in the past sold baby elephants to China saying it needed the money for conservation in Hwange, whose elephant population is three times the park’s carrying capacity.

In 2016, Zimbabwe put its wild animals up for sale, saying it needed buyers to step in and save the beasts from another devastating drought.

Zimbabwe has one of Africa’s largest elephant populations. It seeks to be allowed to hunt and export more of them to ease pressure on the animals’ habitat and raise badly needed money for conservation.

Botswana, which also has a large elephant population, this year lifted a ban on elephant hunting, saying the move would help reduce conflict between humans and animals and earn the country much-needed revenue.

But other countries that are parties to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora have successfully lobbied to limit the sales of elephants, to the dismay of some African countries that say they are struggling with large numbers of the animals.

Zimbabwe, with support from neighbours Botswana, Namibia, South Africa, failed to lobby the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species (CITES) to lift a ban on ivory trade at a meeting in August

Zimbabwe says its ivory stockpile is worth $300 million, money it can use for conservation.

The El Nino-induced drought has cut maize output by more than half, leaving a third of the human population also needing food aid.

Kim Kardashian Says She's Done Having Kids With Kanye

Welp, it’s happened, ladies and germs: One branch of the fertile, highly fortunate Kardashian dynasty will no longer be popping out babies to be tucked into $4000 Lucite cribs. Can we get a moment of silence for all the future bizarre names we will never get to enjoy from Kim Kardashian and hubby Kanye West? No? Too busy right now? That’s cool. We’re actually good too.

Yes, despite renewing their wedding vows on the occasion of their fifth anniversary — as seen in a recent episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians — Kardashian revealed that they are “done” having children. Today is Kim’s birthday, so maybe the decision is also a little birthday present to herself.

“I feel so complete. I really do feel like four is the perfect number [of kids] for me,” Kardashian said on Sunday night’s episode of the outrageously popular, long-running reality TV show. “I feel so full, in the best way. But I’m done.”

West and Kardashian have four children: young environmentalist North, 6, Saint, 3, Chicago, 1, and baby Psalm, who was born in May via surrogate.

Honestly, we are really just bummed out because Kim and Kanye are so extra when it comes to baby naming. And at one point, Kanye was all in for seven kiddos or more. Can you imagine what the next batch of kids might have been named? (We had an office pool going. I was holding out for Testament, Prophet, Toledo, Pacific, Southeast, Lamb, and Sinner.)

You think I’m joking, but Psalm was nearly named “Ye.” Yes, Ye. Soooo… there’s that.

Kardashian introduced Psalm to the family in the Sunday episode, saying, “His name was going to be Ye, but Kanye didn’t like Ye because Ye doesn’t mean anything. We looked up every name in the bible that had Ye in the beginning, and the only name was Yehezkel, and Kylie [Jenner, Kardashian’s half-sister] called at the last second and was like, ‘No!’”

Who knew that little sis Kylie Jenner would be the voice of baby-naming reason?

Kardashian said that life living and traveling with four kids is “definitely more chaotic.” She told Scott Disick that rapper and fashion designer West has really stepped up as a dad, and that’s why she decided to throw a low-key vow renewal celebration on their anniversary.

“I think it’s so special that all four of our kids are here,” the KKW Beauty founder said to Disick. “It’ll just be really sweet, and I’m excited that everyone is coming over.”

Now, Kardashians have been known to change their minds about things, but we’ll assume that we’ll have to go elsewhere for our baby name fix for now. Hopefully Kim’s sisters will still provide us with future baby name inspo for a long time to come.

Amy Schumer Says Working Post-Baby Is Like Getting "a Piece of Yourself Back"

It’s been nearly six months since Amy Schumer’s first child, Gene, was born, and the new mom spoke with People about the highs and lows of returning to work.

“It’s empowering,” Schumer said. “It’s like you get a piece of yourself back, but it is hard. I’m just so fortunate, you know? ‘Cause a lot of people have it a lot harder.”

Schumer is deeply aware of her privilege, but to be fair, she had a particularly nightmarish pregnancy, suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum that landed her in the hospital for IV fluids. She documented the pregnancy with admirable candor and humor — and it’s no wonder that she’s feeling empowered as she settles into motherhood and returns to her career.

Schumer’s currently filming a new unnamed project, as well as recording new episodes of her Spotify podcast Amy Schumer Presents: 3 Girls, 1 Keith, which is entering its fourth season.

The actor and comedian said that being a mother has shifted her focus to issues such as maternal mortality, maternity care, and parental leave.

“Christy Turlington [Burns] started this charity called Every Mother Counts and they raise money to help women have a midwife or doula with them when they give birth. Because sometimes, they’re just at home by themselves,” the I Feel Pretty star said.

“It’s real grim,” she continued. “I have so much privilege, and it was still so hard for me to go back to work.” Recently Schumer expressed that she had had major trepidations about returning to work after having baby Gene, despite having the help of husband Chris Fischer.

“I’m feeling strong and good and like I’m still a human being with interests and ambitions and goals I’m excited to reach,” Schumer wrote in an Instagram post on Oct. 5. “It’s felt good to be back at work… A couple days I’ve cried from missing him. But it’s mostly good to be back and the breaks energize me to be a better mom and appreciate our time even more. I have it a lot easier than many people but I wanted to share my experience.”

It looks like Gene is enjoying all the perks of having a mom who works outside of the house, too, judging from this Oct. 15 Instagram video post on Schumer’s feed, captioned, “Set visit for a million kisses”:

A post shared by @ amyschumer on

We’re eager to see more of Gene — and eager to hear more from the no-B.S. Schumer as she trains her razor-sharp wit on the issues and experiences that she’s contemplating as Amy v. 2.0.

Liam Payne says he and Cheryl 'rubbed off on each other in a bad way'

‘I’ve been on the receiving end quite a lot’: Liam Payne hints he was SCARED of ex Cheryl and admits they ‘rubbed off on each other in a bad way’

Liam Payne has revealed he and Cheryl ‘rubbed off on each other in a bad way’ and hinted she ‘frightened’ him during a candid interview about their relationship.

The Stack It Up singer, 26, who split from Cheryl, 36, in July last year following a two year romance,  also discussed how the pressure of their high-profile romance had led to the beauty becoming stressed over leaving the house.

Speaking on Jessie Ware’s ‘Table Manners’ podcast about the strain on their romance, the star said: ‘I think we kind of rubbed off on each other a little bit in that way. In a bad way, actually. All of that stuff puts so much pressure on a relationship.

Candid: Liam Payne has revealed he and Cheryl ‘rubbed off on each other in a bad way’ during a candid interview about their relationship (pictured May 2016)

The former One Direction star – who shares son Bear, two, with Cheryl- also said she had become anxious about going out with him in public, due to the constant attention the pair received.

He said ‘For her, if you were going out somewhere, it would take so long to get out of the door because you’re just so worried.’

Liam also hinted he was ‘frightened’ of Cheryl during their romance and said: ‘She’s strict. She’s surprised me sometimes.

When asked if he was frightened of her, he said: ‘Let’s say I’ve been on the receiving end of that quite a lot.’

Liam has now moved on with model Maya Henry, 19,  with the pair making their red carpet debut at the launch event for Rita Ora’s Escada collaboration at Paris Fashion Week earlier this month,

He said at the time: ‘[Maya’s] awesome … it’s kind of got to the point with my life, where I’m like, screw this. It’s not worth my happiness.

New love: Liam has now moved on with model Maya Henry, 19, with the pair sharing various loved-up snaps together (pictured last month)

Public event: The Stack It Up singer, 26, who split from Cheryl, 36, in July last year, also discussed how the pressure of their high-profile romance led to the beauty becoming stressed over leaving the house (pictured February 2018)

‘If someone is going to take a picture, someone is going to do something.

Appearing to take a swipe at his ex Cheryl, he said: ‘The difference is with her, she’s so relaxed that it helps me relax in a situation…

‘It’s been quite nice just going out. I’ve managed to explore a lot more of London than I ever have actually my life, which has been quite fun.

‘My life has been quite normal recently, which has been a break. It’s good. I’m enjoying myself right now.’

The interview comes as Cheryl hit back at claims she faked her romance with Liam.

The Sun claimed the former One Direction singer revealed he broke up with the singer around the release of For You in January 2018, despite attending the BRITs together the following month and announcing their split in July later that year.

Stress: Liam also hinted he was ‘frightened’ of Cheryl during their romance and said: ‘She’s strict. She’s surprised me sometimes (pictured May 2016)

Smitten: He said  of his new girlfriend: ‘[Maya’s] awesome … it’s kind of got to the point with my life, where I’m like, screw this. It’s not worth my happiness’

However, a representative for Cheryl told MailOnline: ‘This is a nonsense story. Liam doesn’t say on the podcast that they split up in January or at the time of release of ‘With You’.

The spokesperson added: ‘That is The Sun’s wrong interpretation of his quote. The couple 100 per cent split in July 2018 as was well documented. This is just an agenda driven story once again.’

Artists Liam and Cheryl dated between February 2016 and July last year. The pair welcomed their first child Bear in March 2017.

The exes are currently co-parenting their son, and are on amicable terms over a year on from their break-up.

The pair are said to have remained civil since their split, with the hunk even insisting he would be not sure what he and son Bear, two, would do without single Cheryl in a sweet Mother’s Day post in March.

He wrote: ‘Happy Mother’s Day to these two amazing super mums not sure what me and the little man would do without you xx’.

Parents: The former couple are parents to son Bear, two, and are on amicable terms over a year on from their break-up.

Mindy Kaling Says Her 2-Year-Old Daughter Is Confident and Fearless

Mindy Kaling has a confident kid on her hands.

“I don’t know where it’s coming from, this well of confidence,” the actress, 40, told Us Weekly and other reporters on Monday, October 14, at the 26th Annual ELLE Women in Hollywood Celebration of her 22-month-old daughter, Katherine. “Probably from being [almost] 2 years old and having no fear.”

The Office alum has already thought about how she will continue building the toddler’s self-esteem in the future. “[I’ll be] unconditionally supportive and not fill her with worries about things that she can’t control,” she told Us. [She won’t be] scared to speak out and speak her mind and let her words have value, probably.”

When it comes to her work ethic, the Emmy nominee also wants Katherine to follow in her footsteps. “If I can set that example for her to work hard like I did, I think I’d be happy,” Kaling told Us in June. “I work incredibly hard. It’s like, work hard, play hard. I definitely work more hard than I play hard. And so I think that’s not bad. I think that I have never gotten anything easily and that’s OK!”

After welcoming the little one in December 2017, the Why Not Me? author has kept quiet about the identity of her daughter’s father — and she’s still keeping her lips sealed. “My feeling is that, until I speak to my daughter about that, I’m not going to talk to anyone else about it,” the Late Night star told The New York Times that same month.

As a single mom, the Massachusetts native loves spending time with Katherine in the pool. “I want to maximize the time where I’m better at things than she is, so I’m a bad swimmer, but we go swimming because she’s like, ‘You’re incredible!’ and I’m like, ‘Thank you!’” Kaling told Us on Monday. “She’s just like, ‘You’re amazing.’ She thinks I’m Michael Phelps. … I think she’ll turn about 6 and be like, ‘You stink!’”

The Formula One driver, 34, uploaded a post on his stories on Tuesday, where he told his 13.1 million followers he felt like ‘giving up on everything’.

Lewis wrote: ‘Honestly, I feel like giving up on everything. Shut down completely. Why bother when the world is such a mess and people don’t seem to care.

‘I’m going to take a moment away to gather my thoughts. Thank you to those of you who do give a d**n about the world.’

It is unclear exactly what Lewis is referring to in the cryptic message, but the Formula One star has long been vocal about his fears for the planet and recently shared a series of messages on Instagram about environmental destruction.

After uploading the post, a number of fans tried to contact Lewis through Twitter.

One wrote: ‘Please don’t give up on the world. There are people that care, whilst the world may seem c**p at times you have to look for the positives. I promise you there are some.’

Another fan typed: ‘I am so concerned about Lewis. Hope he is ok.’

Back in August, the racing driver unveiled his plans to open a new vegan burger restaurant chain, in a bid to reduce greenhouse emissions created by livestock.

He opened his first plant-based Neat Burger restaurant last month, which sells vegan burgers called ‘Neat’, ‘Cheese’ and ‘Chick’n’.

Livestock are a major driver of climate change – accounting for nearly 15 percent of greenhouse gas emissions – while producing meat uses land and water less efficiently than crops, according to the U.N.’s Food and Agriculture Organization.

The racing driver previously spoke about his own decision to go vegan two years ago. He told the BBC: ‘ I stopped eating red meat two years ago, I have generally been pescatarian for the majority of the year and now I’ve cut fish.

Global warming: It is unclear exactly what Lewis is referring to in the cryptic message, but the Formula One star has long been vocal about his fears for the planet

‘As the human race, what we are doing to the world… the pollution [in terms of emissions of global-warming gases] coming from the amount of cows that are being produced is incredible.

‘They say it is more than what we produce with our flights and our cars, which is kind of crazy to think, the cruelty is horrible and I don’t necessarily want to support that and I want to live a healthier life.’

It comes after Lewis was denied victory at the Japanese Grand Prix that survived the typhoon by a rare mistake by all-conquering Mercedes.

The race was instead won by Valtteri Bottas – a one-three finish that secured the constructors’ title for the Brackley-based outfit for a record sixth consecutive time.

And Lewis expects he will have to wait beyond Mexico, the next race on the calendar and one that could be a struggle for his Mercedes team, to secure his sixth Formula One world championship.

‘For me, it’s never been a case of always wanting to rush things,’ he said.

‘I think Mexico is generally our worst race of the year because of the way our car is set up and it’s going to be a tough one for us. The last few have been pretty shocking, even though we’ve won the title there.

‘I don’t anticipate it (the decider) will be Mexico. I think we will be battling for a good few races.’

Ryan Lochte Says Becoming a Father Changed 'Everything': 'I'm So Happy'

From Olympic athlete to family man! Ryan Lochte gushed over how much his “life revolves around” his children with wife Kayla Rae Reid in an exclusive interview with Us Weekly.

“Kids have changed everything,” the athlete, 35, told Us of his marriage with the model, 28, while promoting the FitPlan App. “It’s not just me and her anymore. We have to always wake up and care for our little ones. One was hard, two is very hard, but it’s so much fun knowing every time we see our kids, we created this. … It’s pretty awesome to see them grow into people that they’re going to become.”

The Olympian swimmer’s “whole life” is different with Caiden, 2, and Liv, 3 months, at home. “I love it,” Lochte said. “I’m so happy [with] the place where I’m at right now.”

When it comes to partying, for example, the Florida native now just celebrates his little one’s birthdays. “I [also] have a glass of champagne with my wife [on] date night every once in awhile,” he said. “My partying is going on a date night.”

Liv: “Mom you’re really letting this guy hold me again”? Caiden: shhhhhhh

A post shared byCaiden & Liv Lochte (@caidenandlivlochte) on

Lochte and the Virginia native welcomed their baby girl in June, and the What Would Ryan Lochte Do? alum opened up about her latest milestones. “She’s very aware of everything that’s going around,” he told Us. “She’s always noticing around her and doesn’t sleep at all. She’s a princess. She wants to be held. She wants to be pampered, which I’m OK with because that’s my girl. She can have whatever she wants.”

As for her big brother, Caiden is the “spitting image of” his father, which scares Lochte. “He just wants to go, go, go,” he said of his toddler. “He has serious FOMO. So naps, bye-bye. Going to sleep at night, no. He wants to be with everyone. He wants to be surrounded by people, but at the same time, he’s, like, the sweetest kid in the world when he’s not drawing all over the couches and walls and stuff. … He’ll come up and give you a big hug and kiss, and he’s like, ‘Daddy, I love you.’ And that kills me.”

Lochte and Reid tied the knot in January 2018. When he isn’t focusing on his family, the athlete is working out with the FitPlan App.

“Anyone can subscribe to it,” he told Us. “The first seven days are free, and it’s basically a way for anyone that wants to live a healthier and more fit lifestyle. You can go on this FitPlan app, subscribe and then type in my name … [to] do the same workouts that I’ve done. Mine is a three to four week timeline, basically training three times a week.

Nobel prize winner says humanity moving to another planet is a stupid idea

A Nobel-prize winning astrophysicist has said humanity needs to focus on solving Earth’s problems rather than migration to another planet.

Michel Mayor, along with fellow Nobel winner Didier Queloz, discovered the first exoplanet with the potential to host life back in 1995. They calculated it was the same distance from its host star as Earth, putting it in the ‘Goldilocks zone’ where liquid water may be possible.

Since then, our knowledge of exoplanets has skyrocketed. Equipment like Nasa’s Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has helped to confirm over 4,000 known exoplanets.

But Mayor says pinning our hopes on a world beyond our solar system is a stupid idea.

‘If we are talking about exoplanets, things should be clear: we will not migrate there. These planets are much, much too far away,’ he told Agence France-Press.

‘Even in the very optimistic case of a livable planet that is not too far, say a few dozen light years, which is not a lot, it’s in the neighborhood, the time to go there is considerable.

‘We are talking about hundreds of millions of days using the means we have available today.’

Rather than jumping on Elon Musk’s bandwagon and getting excited about humans becoming a multi-planetary species, the 77-year-old said issues like climate change are far more serious.

‘We must take care of our planet,’ he urged.

Climate change is accelerating, with carbon dioxide levels increasing, sea levels rising and ice sheets melting faster than ever, experts have warned. That opinion comes from the World Meteorological Organisation (WMO), which formed part of a ‘united in science’ review for a UN climate action summit.

The WMO has published a report showing climate change and its impacts over the past five years between 2015 and 2019, which shows it was the hottest five-year period on record. The world has warmed by 1.1C since pre-industrial times, and by 0.2C just compared to the previous five year period 2011-2015, the report showed.

Ali Wong Says She Told Everyone About Her Pregnancy Before She Miscarried

For the past 15 years, Ali Wong has been performing at open mics with the purpose of making people laugh — and making them uncomfortable. “It was very disgusting. It was all about sex. I had moved back from Vietnam and was single, living in San Francisco, and so horny,” she said in an interview with Health.com about her early years in comedy. This candor and openness are what led to her Netflix specials, Baby Cobra and Hard Knock Wife — both of which she filmed while she was *very* pregnant. More importantly, these traits have also allowed the American Housewife star to speak publicly about her miscarriage and two C-sections

“I was shocked nobody was trying to talk to me about my gender or my race, which I loved,” she said in the interview. “Everyone wanted to talk about me being pregnant and how I spoke about my miscarriage.” But, if you listen to her stand-up, you’ll know that she doesn’t ask for sympathy when she speaks about her bodily struggles — she just wants to educate people (with humor, of course) about the reality of something that happens to 1 in 4 women.

“I didn’t realize miscarrying was a thing that could happen. That’s why I told everybody. I told the lady who cleans my house, and when she found out I was seven weeks along, she told me I shouldn’t be telling people. Now I know why. It’s because then you have to tell everyone the bad news. Some people have insensitive reactions. Like, they will ask if it’s because you had sushi or you were performing too much. They want to point to some cause and don’t realize how bad that makes you feel,” the mother of two explained. When Wong started talking about her miscarriage, she was afraid that her husband’s parents would be disappointed, but that thought quickly dissipated once she realized how supportive they were.

As for her C-sections, she acknowledges that she may never fully accept her scars but can still appreciate the stories behind them. “I’ve had two C-sections — I’d show you, but I don’t want to get Me Too’d. But if I am naked, you can see my belly is a little lopsided over my scar. I have a keloid thing that runs in my family. Some women will have scars that look like little strings of floss. Mine looks like a finger. It bummed me out for a while, until one day, I was like, “It is what it is. I got two beautiful girls out of it.” I’d like to say it’s a celebration of my body, but if I am being truthful, it’s not — it’s just that it doesn’t bum me out anymore.”

Aside from Wong’s current The Milk and Money tour, the comedienne wrote a book filled with letters to her daughters called Dear Girls, which is out October 15. “So my book is a lot about who I was before I had them,” she said. Moms, take notes — your daughters can probably use a book of their own someday with stories of your rebellious years (which, for Wong, doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon).

Travis Scott Says Raising Daughter Stormi Has Given Him 'Tremendous Energy'

Becoming a dad has given Travis Scott a new lease on life!

“Stormi is like a battery, which has given me tremendous energy,” the rapper, 28, told GQ Germany on Thursday, October 10, of his 20-month-old daughter with Kylie Jenner. “[She] showed me so many things that I did not [get before]. Many things in life I only noticed when my daughter was born. [Fatherhood] is the most impressive thing that ever happened to me. Really.”

Not only does he consider watching the toddler grow to be “the most magical experience in the world,” but he has “gained a lot of passion for other areas in life” since her birth. “I was hardly able to get excited in the past,” the Grammy nominee explained to the outlet.

Scott and the Kylie Cosmetics creator, 22, secretly welcomed their baby girl in February 2018 after keeping Jenner’s pregnancy under wraps. Nine months later, the “Butterfly Effect” rapper told Ellen DeGeneres how it felt to hold Stormi for the first time.

“It’s like this whole warmth, you know, that just takes over your whole body,” the Texas native said on a November 2018 episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show. “I never thought I could just like love something so hard. It’s crazy.”

Although Stormi’s parents, who started dating in April 2017, split earlier this month, Scott and the reality star both have their little one’s best interests at heart.

“Travis still has a lot of love for Kylie and respects her as a mom,” a source told Us Weekly exclusively following their breakup. “He will be very involved in Stormi’s life.”

Another insider said that the couple are planning on sharing 50/50 custody of their daughter, although “it’s not a point of contention.” The source went on to explain, “It’s really whatever is best for Stormi. Travis knows what an incredible mom Kylie is and will make whatever situation work.”

On Tuesday, October 8, a third source revealed to Us that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star “wanted to have a second baby” with Scott prior to their split, and he “did not.”
