Strictly’s Mike Bushell will FINALLY be kicked off the show this weekend, claim bookies – The Sun

STRICTLY star Mike Bushell will finally be kicked of the show this weekend, according to bookies.

The BBC sports presenter has been in the dance off three weeks running and bookmakers feel like his time is up as his odds are now, giving him odds of (2-5) for the axe.

The 17th season of the show has already seen six celebrities leave and there will be another elimination this weekend.

Mikes odds are the lowest of everyone's this weekend, with other dancers such as Chris Ramsey coming in at (4-1) and Emma Barton at (9-2).

"Mike has managed a hat-trick of escapes from the dance-off but this time punters think his luck is going to run out. He's been backed into (2-5) now to be eliminated this weekend and he's going to have to pull out something special to make it through again," said Coral's Harry Aitkenhead.

The presenter has faced a myriad of criticism since being on the show with people on Twitter saying: "you do your best but you'll never be a dancer" – and some fans even saying Mike staying on the show is a 'fix'.

Mike Bushell presents the sports segment of BBC Breakfast and his goal is to encourage everyone to get up and try new sports.

He currently holds the record for trying different sports and has profiled over 350.

Despite the negativity surrounding his performances in recent weeks, he has survived for 6 weeks of the show and continues to scrape through.

However, he will need to be on top form to beat the odds this weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing continues this weekend on BBC at 7pm this Saturday

Bekah Martinez Will Breast-Feed Ruth 'as Long as' She Can: It's Not 'Weird'

In it for the long haul! Bekah Martinez shared her plans for nursing her 9-month-old daughter, Ruth.

“I get the question often: ‘How long are you going to breast-feed for?’” the Bachelor alum, 24, captioned a photo of her little one feeding on her Thursday, November 7, Instagram Story. “As long as I can and both of us want to. There’s nothing f–king weird about a 2-year-old still nursing. It’s bonding time, soothing time and boosts the immune system. it’s only weird if you’ve still got it in your head that breasts are inherently sexual, even between mother and child and if that’s the case, who’s the weird one?”

The former reality star went on to describe her nursing schedule now that she’s finishing her art degree at the University of California Irvine. “In order to keep my milk supply up, I nurse as frequently and as long as I possibly can on days I’m not at school,” Martinez explained. “Having baby empty your breasts as much as possible (yes empty!!) sends the signal to your body to produce more milk. … Furthermore I don’t pump unless I’m at school. I supplement with formula on these days so I don’t put pressure on myself to produce enough milk for when I’m gone. For me, more stress = less milk.”

Initially, the California native and Grayston Leonard’s daughter had “trouble taking bottles” with her mom back at college. “She pretty much went on strike and only drank like 4 ounces the first few days I was gone at school,” the former ABC personality explained. “But eventually, I think she realized she needed to give in and takes a bottle really well now. … She does not take a bottle for night feedings. Only mama will do for her! And we haven’t eliminated night feedings yet because she’s in a pretty low weight percentile.”

On top of that, the little one eats solids “as often as possible,” ranging from avocado and sprouted bread to beans and goat cheese.

Martinez and the rock climbing gym owner, 31, welcomed Ruth in February. In August, the new mom told Us Weekly exclusively about their plans to expand their family.

“I would be fine with five or six,” she revealed. “Maybe just five. But for now, we want to keep it just [Ruth] for a couple of years. We can travel with her really easily, so we want to stick with her and then go for the rest.”

Martinez previously vied for Arie Luyendyk Jr.‘s heart on season 22 in 2018.

Only Stay-At-Home Moms Will Laugh At This

Whether you stay home out of desire or out of necessity, there are parts of being a stay-at-home mom that only those living the all-day parenting show will understand. If you’ve done it, you know it’s not easy. Here are some of the humorous realities that we face on the daily, yet still manage to make it through the day alive.

1. Sick days don’t exist.

Your kids won’t ease up if you feel like garbage. If anything, they will make sure to shower you with extra screams and destruction to keep your mind off your raging fever. If mom takes a day off, the whole house goes to hell. Sick or not, the show must go on.

2. Multitasking is your middle name.

You have managed to learn how to cook a meal while breastfeeding, tie shoes with one hand while zipping coats with the other and answer important phone calls while deflecting nerf darts. You pay bills while you clean the house, and you make grocery lists in the shower. You plan birthday parties in your sleep — that’s how good you are.

3. You spend most of the day silently begging for peace and quiet, but you know it’s bad when it happens.

But you know if you get it, something catastrophic is going down. And sometimes, even knowing that, you’re willing to take the risk anyways because you just NEED. A. BREAK.

4. Your best friends are named dry shampoo and perfume.

You might spend your entire day at home, but that doesn’t mean you have time to waste on petty activities like showers or personal hygiene. You slap on some tinted moisturizer and your “good leggings” if you’re really feeling fancy, but most days your fuzzy socks, stretched out yoga pants, and that sweater with the hole in it. Your kids are just going to get boogers and food all over you anyway, so what’s the point?

5. Unlike your working mom counterparts, the more you get done in a day, the LESS money you have.

You killed it as a mom today. You went to the grocery store, you caught up on all the bills, you stocked up the toiletries and got your kid a new pair of shoes for gym class. You signed your toddler up for tumbling and you picked up your husband’s dry cleaning. You were ON. YOUR. GAME! So why after a long day “at the office” is your bank account suffering from withdrawal symptoms? Ughhh.

6. Your “corner office with a window” is mobile.

And it’s usually littered with goldfish crackers, hides dried up french fries, carries a questionable smell, and is coated in something sticky. You frequently find your boss sleeping on the job and staff insubordination is rewarded with Happy Meals and dum-dum suckers.

7. Trips to Target alone count as self-care.

You pamper yourself with a venti coffee and stroll the aisles of pet supplies (even though you don’t haven’t owned a furry friend in years) just to delay your checkout a little longer. You deserve this vacation, and you’re going to soak up every minute in the dollar aisle if that’s what it takes.

8. Bodily functions are part of your daily routine, and you’re not even a doctor.

Your boss asks you to wipe his butt, or claws at your breasts to nurse and it’s a completely acceptable, welcomed even. You frequently step in something wet and have to ask yourself if it’s water, juice, or urine. And either way, you’re not completely grossed out.

9. Your friends who work outside the home don’t understand your job — and you don’t understand them.

Your husband doesn’t fully grasp it either. You hear comments like “if you had a ‘real job’ you would know” or “what did you do all day?” You feel misunderstood and underappreciated, and it’s not because your audience hasn’t mastered fine motor skills yet. You yearn for adult interaction, but when you finally get it, you are so used to speaking toddler through Disney movie song lyrics that you end up saying something completely inappropriate and awkward. You can’t remember what it’s like to have conversations with adults. It’s been that long.

The best part of your job is that your bonuses come in the form of tiny hands wrapped around your neck, little kisses on the cheek by the plumpest, sweetest, tinest lips, and giant “I LOVE YOU’S!” from miniature lispy voices. And when those come, you realize: you don’t care if you laugh at yourself all day. This is the only place you ever want to be.

Elon Musk will reveal Tesla's 'cybertruck' on November 21

Elon Musk is drumming up as much hype as he can for Tesla’s forthcoming electric pickup truck.

The billionaire boss of Tesla has dubbed it the ‘cybertruck’ and suggested it looks like something straight out of Blade Runner.

Now he’s given us an official reveal date: November 21. Musk will unveil the new pickup at Tesla’s design studio in Los Angeles where we will all get to see its ‘heart-stopping design’.

The ‘cybertruck’ is part of a range of new vehicles the company is working on now that its mass-market Tesla Model 3 is up and running.

Alongside the pickup are plans for the Tesla Semi, which could eventually tackle long-range haulage, and a new version of the sporty Roadster.

In the past, Musk has suggested that the Tesla pickup truck will have a range of anything from 400 to 500 miles on a single charge.

‘Cybertruck doesn’t look like anything I’ve seen bouncing around the Internet,’ he told Twitter last month.

‘It’s closer to an armored personnel carrier from the future.’

The US Army trick that will help you fall asleep anywhere in 120 seconds – The Sun

YOU'VE tried counting sheep and even picturing your happy place in your mind.

But no matter what, your brain just won't switch off and let you drift peacefully into the land of nod.

Worst of all, the next day you can't concentrate and keep making mistakes.

It was something the US Army realised was affecting fighter pilots in the Second World War.

Their stress and fatigue was building up so much due to sleeplessness that they were making terrible, avoidable decisions.

Even when they clocked off, they couldn't relax and get to sleep.

So, the US Navy Pre-Flight School came up with a scientific method to fall asleep day or night, in any conditions, in under two minutes.

The technique, revealed in a book titled  'Relax and Win: Championship Performance', was said to work for 96 per cent of pilots after just six weeks of practice – even after drinking coffee, with machine gunfire being played in the background.

In training, the pilots were taught to fall asleep upright in a chair, their feet flat on the floor and their hands limp against their laps.

So, if you fancy trying it out in bed – where you can stretch all you want – means you've already got a head start. Here's how it works…

Relax your face

Once you're in position the key is to focus on the face – think of it as the epicentre of your emotions.

Start by closing your eyes and breathe slowly and deeply.

Then relax all 43 muscles in your face – don't squint or frown – let everything go loose.

Breathe out and feel your cheeks, mouth, tongue and jaw relax.

Try and focus on relaxing your eyes by letting them fall deep into their sockets – when these go limp it sends a signal to the rest of your body that it's time to unwind.

Drop your shoulders

Next step is to drop your shoulder as low as they'll go, as if they're floating down your body.

You should feel the back of your neck loosen too.

Then, it's time to relax your arms, starting with your dominant side.

If you're right-handed, focus on relaxing your right bicep – if it won't, tense it first then let it go loose.

Then move to the forearm, thinking about letting that relax, before doing the same with your hand and fingers.

Repeat the same process on the other side.

Loosen your legs

Your upper body should be nice and limp – like it's sinking into you – so it's time to turn to the lower half.

Starting with your right thigh, tell the muscle to sink like a dead weight, followed by the calf muscles.

Follow the same technique with your ankle and foot and you should feel your leg relax.

Work through the process on the left leg – going through the thigh, to the calf and down to the foot.

Every muscle in your body, from your face to your toes, should now be relaxed.

Clear your mind

The last step is to completely clear your mind for 10 seconds.

Don't think about what went wrong that day, or what time you need to get up.

These types of thoughts involve movement and just thinking about them is enough to make your muscles involuntarily contract.

Instead, keep your mind still by focusing on a static image in your head.

One trick is to imagine you are lying on a couch in a pitch black room and hold that image for 10 seconds.

If that doesn't work, you can try saying the words "don't think" repeatedly for the duration.

This should clear out any thoughts that stop your brain from wandering.

When will Mr Right bewitch Emma Watson?

When will Mr Right bewitch Emma Watson? Harry Potter star is single at 29 and says she’s now ‘self-partnered’ despite a string of eligible boyfriends. So, asks ALISON BOSHOFF, why can’t she find the magic?

Spa breaks in Koh Samui, jolly nights backstage with pop star Taylor Swift, road trips in California and long weekends in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the celebrity hotspot favoured by Jennifer Aniston and George Clooney . . .

A string of handsome boyfriends, many of them millionaires (one of whom was seen kissing her only a fortnight ago) . . .

The attentions of a stylist both off duty and on, lucrative beauty campaigns and the endless flattery of the fashion industry . . .

And that’s before we get to the £3 million London townhouse, the ski chalet in France and an acting career which, despite years of middling reviews, remains stellar.

Yes, Emma Watson, 29, has many reasons to be cheerful. Indeed, with her beauty, success and a £55 million fortune, one could argue that she has more reasons than most.

Yet the truth is that, since shooting to fame at the tender age of ten after she was cast as Hermione Granger in the first of the Harry Potter films, it seems she has agonised over rather than enjoyed her dizzying success.

When her father, who had been giving her an allowance of £50 a week, sat her down in her late teens to tell her that the J.K. Rowling movie franchise had already made her a millionaire many times over, her reaction was to feel physically sick.

‘By the third or fourth film, the money was starting to get . . . serious,’ she said. ‘I had no idea. I felt sick, very emotional. It was a real shock.’ As she explained when Disney’s Beauty And The Beast was released two years ago: ‘I’ve been doing this since I was ten or 11, and I’ve often thought, I’m so wrong for this job because I’m too serious.’

And now, as she prepares for the release of her next film appearance as Meg March in Little Women, it seems that anguished Emma has been battling her demons again.

Talking to Vogue magazine, she revealed that she has suffered from ‘incredible anxiety’ about having not married or started a family by the time she reaches 30 next April.

Describing her single status as being ‘self-partnered’, Watson says she has now come to terms with it, though she panicked as she grew closer to her landmark birthday. ‘I was like: ‘Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal . . .’ Cut to 29 and I’m like: ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious,’ ‘ she said.

Stylist and friend Caroline Sieber says that Watson is ‘sober in her thinking’ — which is one way of putting it. Private to a fault, she loves jigsaws, yoga and cats. That’s not to say that this currently ‘self-partnered’ star has been short of romance, with ten beaus over the past dozen years.

‘The boyfriends or partners I’ve had have generally made me feel really cherished. They’ve built me up,’ she said.

At 17, an early boyfriend was rugby player Tom Ducker, but her most serious romance seems to have been with another rugby player — and fellow Oxford student — Matt Janney, with whom she broke up in 2015.

Then there was another Oxford student, Will Adamowicz. The relationship lasted from 2011 to 2013.

Emma Watson strolling with actor boyfriend Chord Overstreet in 2018

She was then seen out and about with actor/producer Roberto Aguire, who she first met in 2005 on the set of Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. She also seems to have a particularly weak spot for young tech millionaires as she has dated at least three of them, most significantly U.S. entrepreneur William ‘Mack’ Knight.

A Princeton graduate from a wealthy New York family, his father was the director of a golf club and he worked with his twin brother at a Silicon Valley software start-up.

They were introduced by friends on the charity circuit. His mother, Katherine, said: ‘I have met Emma, and she’s a wonderful girl.’ The couple dated for two years, until late 2017.

Then came a six-month love affair with handsome Glee actor Chord Overstreet. They broke up during the summer of last year.

Over the past 12 months she has also been spotted sharing cocktails with tech CEO Brendan Wallace, a 36-year-old New Yorker who is co-founder of a venture capital fund. By this summer, she had moved on to another tech millionaire, Brendan Iribe, CEO of Oculus. They were seen leaving a restaurant in Santa Monica in August.

Later that month, though, she was reportedly romancing model Dominic Piazza. Finally came her liaison with the mystery man with a hair bun, who was pictured kissing her in London last month.

It’s a longer list of amours than you might expect for someone who claims to be ‘self-partnered’, but then Watson is a young woman who solemnly examines her life.

It is possible that when she gave the interview, she was between boyfriends. A fan of meditation, Watson writes poetry, pens a diary when she is unhappy and went on a week-long silent retreat to try to find her ‘inner home’. By her own admission, though, Watson has ‘really wrestled with’ fame.

She says: ‘I’ve sat in therapy and felt guilty about it. I’m like, why me? Somebody else would have enjoyed and wanted this more. And I’ve struggled a lot with the guilt around that . . . I should be excited and I’m struggling.’

Born in Paris to lawyers Chris Watson and Jackie Luesby, she moved to the UK aged five, and her parents promptly divorced. She was cast in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone when she was nine, having been picked out of a line-up in her school gym.

She reflected: ‘I got the first part I ever auditioned for, and it’s so bizarre and otherworldly what happened to me.’ Of course, that schooling was vastly disrupted with her Harry Potter filming schedule and she ended up being tutored on set by the sister of one of her teachers.

The films were almost as huge as the books, and she completed filming the final two-part Harry Potter film — Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows — only in June 2010, when she was 20.

Perhaps significantly, unlike co-stars Rupert Grint and Daniel Radcliffe, Watson’s parents didn’t drop everything to be with her.

She said: ‘My parents couldn’t take the time off; they had careers and they weren’t together. They couldn’t swap in and out like Rupert Grint’s and Dan Radcliffe’s parents. And my mother had my younger brother to look after, she couldn’t leave him.’

Sources who remember her from the Potter days say her father Chris’s influence was paramount, even though she lived with her mother in Oxfordshire. An Oxford graduate who now works at one of the larger London law firms, he was often the one who went with her on publicity junkets and to film premieres worldwide.

After he and Emma’s mother Jackie divorced in 1995, he remarried, to Elizabeth Green, and they have three further children, Toby and twins Nina and Lucy.

Watson was troubled from time to time by their ‘awful’ divorce. The reasons for the split are not known, but it seems that Watsonfound herself in marital no-man’s land more than once.

‘All I can tell you is that there was a lot of unhappiness connected with the parents,’ said a source close to the Potter films. ‘They are both strong people who had plenty of views.’

In an early interview, Watson talked of ‘juggling two parents’, and said this was useful when it came to balancing the demands of filming with her school work.

She says at times she felt removed from her family. ‘There were moments when it got so big where I almost had vertigo and . . . felt disconnected and part of the peace within myself is remembering my identity,’ she told Vogue magazine. ‘I’ve had to ask: ‘Am I still your daughter?’ Because it’s felt so weird sometimes.’

Her contract came up for renewal in 2006 while she was shooting the fifth film, Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix, and she says her instinct was to quit.

She hated the insanely busy schedule and ‘agonised’ before committing to another five years.

Emma Watson snuggles up with then-beau Brendan Wallace during a vacation in Mexico in 2018

‘There’s no burning passion to act,’ she said soon after Potter finished. When the cast and crew held a final wrap party around Christmas 2010, she didn’t come.

While the three key actors were genuinely good friends in the early years, the bond seems to have loosened considerably during the making of the last movie.

She left Britain, accepting a place to read literature at Brown University, an Ivy League institution in Rhode Island, New York.

While at Brown, Watson spent time introspectively puzzling over whether she had ever wanted to be an actress in the first place.

She said in 2017: ‘It’s something I’ve really wrestled with. I’ve gone back and I’ve quizzed my parents. When I was younger, I just did it. I just acted, it was just there.

‘I was finding this fame thing was getting to a point of no return. I sensed if this was something I was ever going to step away from it was now or never.’

It took her five years to graduate; she made more films and spent a year at Worcester College, Oxford. In the U.S., she fell in with a moneyed social set. One friend’s father was dating TV personality Tyra Banks and Watson’s boyfriend was Rafael Cebrian, rock star son of the co-founder of Spain’s El Pais newspaper.

Emma Watson seen passionately kissing a mystery man while out for lunch in London earlier this month

There was also a romance with U.S. actor Johnny Simmons, but it allegedly ended after he refused to accompany her back to Britain, when she enrolled at Oxford.

Today, Watson’s social circle includes fashion figures such as Antoine Arnault of the French LVMH dynasty.

Outside her film career, she’s been the face of Lancome perfume and launched a collection with the ethical fashion label People Tree.

In 2014, she became a UN goodwill ambassador, and also runs a feminist book club, Our Shared Shelf, on Twitter.

She is a #MeToo campaigner, wearing a fake ‘Times Up’ (sic) tattoo for the Oscars in 2018. She also took feminist author Gloria Steinem to a Beauty And The Beast screening to assuage her own conscience over playing a Disney princess.

Watson had insisted that her Belle should wear boots and be the inventor of a washing machine, rather than a sappy ballet shoe-wearing household drudge.

She said: ‘I’m a pain in the ass; I’m difficult; I don’t fit. But as I’ve got older, I’ve realised, No! Taking on those battles, the smaller ones and the bigger ones, is who I am.’

Could it be the beautiful, clever and talented Ms Watson is a touch too introspective to settle down long-term with a partner?

For now, it seems, the only person who really understands her is her ‘self-partnered’ self.

How long will Andre Gomes be out for, what ankle injury did Everton ace suffer and was Spurs’ Son given red card? – The Sun

TOTTENHAM and Everton players alike were devastated as Andre Gomes suffered a horrendous injury at Goodison Park.

The Portugal midfielder was left with a broken ankle, that left Spurs duo Son Heung-min and Serge Aurier physically distressed.

How long will Andre Gomes be out for?

Gomes has undergone successful surgery to fix his broken ankle at the Aintree Hospital and he has since been discharged.

Everton said in a statement: "Andre Gomes has now been discharged from hospital and will continue his rehabilitation under the care of the Everton medical team."

Although it is still unclear as to how long he will be sidelined for, the club have tweeted he is set to make a 'full recovery'.

The Everton star's leg was shown to have been protruding from his skin in horrific scenes.

Similar players to have suffered those kind of injuries include Arsenal duo Aaron Ramsey and Eduardo.

Ramsey was sidelined for nine months, after his tibia and fibula was shattered in 2010, before needing time in the Championship to get back to his best.

As for Eduardo, the Brazilian-born Croat also had an ankle dislocation in 2008, returning to action almost a year later.

What happened to Gomes?

The Everton star had been gliding through the Tottenham midfield, when Son Heung-min had tracked back to attempt to nick the ball.

But as he slid to steal the ball, coming from behind to get his legs tangled in Gomes', Serge Aurier stepped on the Portuguese star's right foot.

At first glance, the tackle did not seem too serious or dangerous, but moods soon changed as the severity of it was realised.

Later images showed as Gomes was challenged, his right foot got stuck in the turf, causing his ankle to fracture and dislocate as momentum took him over.

Medics quickly rushed onto the field of play as teammate Cenk Tosun cradled the midfielder's head as he screamed in agony.

Gomes was taken to nearby Aintree Hospital, where he will undergo surgery.

Was Son sent off?

Son was initially handed a yellow card for the offence by Martin Atkinson, but the referee upgraded it to a red after seeing the severity of it.

The South Korean was visibly distressed, with Dele Alli later telling Sky Sports: "Son is devastated, he’s in tears but it’s not his fault. He’s one of the nicest people you would want to meet and he’s not like that.

"He can’t even lift his head up he’s crying that much in the dressing room."

But the sending off has been deemed controversial by many, including ex-Liverpool defender turned Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher.

Yet, the Premier League released a statement after the game, saying: "The red card for Son was for endangering the safety of a player which happened as a consequence of his initial challenge."

Aurier did not picked up any card for his involvement, but was distressed and praying shortly after the incident, with Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino choosing to substitute the defender as he was unable to carry on.

'Power': Will Jesse Williams Star in the Spinoff Series?

Even though we still have half of Power’s sixth and final season, all eyes are still looking toward the first spinoff of the show. Will Jesse Williams, who appeared earlier in this final season, star in the new series?

Here’s what we know about the Power spinoff

The first spinoff of Power was officially announced a few months back during the Television Critics Association press tour. However, it had been stated many times over the past few years that there would be not one, but multiple spinoffs of the show in development.

Power Book II: Ghost is the current working title of the first spinoff. It will star Mary J. Blige in one of the leading roles.

In a press release at the time, showrunner and executive producer Courtney A. Kemp and executive producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson said, “We have alluded previously to various spin-offs, prequels and other expansions of the Power Universe. Today we are pleased to announce that we are in pre-production on the first of what we know will be a collection of series inspired by the dynamic world of PowerPower Book II: Ghost will continue the journey of some of Power’s most controversial characters.”

Who does Jesse Williams play in ‘Power’

Williams portrays the ex of Lakeisha (La La Anthony), who is currently incarcerated. He appears in just one episode of the season.

On how his appearance and the role came about, Williams told Entertainment Weekly, “I’m a fan of the show. I’ve been in contact with Courtney Kemp, who is a good friend of mine. Courtney and I have been trying to figure out a way to work together for some time…we’re going to find a way to sneak me in. With the show wrapping up, she wanted to squeeze me in for kind of a surprise cameo and to get our working relationship started. It’s a monster show and I thought it would be fun to pop in for the final season. It’s an interesting character. The character had a presence in the show for a duration because he was in a relationship with La La Anthony’s character and is the father of Cash. He’s just been off-screen this whole time. It’s kind of cool to come in with a character that’s kind of been ever-present.”

Is it possible that Jesse Williams will star in the ‘Power’ spinoff?

In the same interview with Entertainment Weekly, Williams talked about the upcoming Power spinoff with Blige and if his character would join.

“Not that I know of and I’m not withholding, I just don’t know. We really are fans of each other, we’d love to figure out ways to work and she’s got really cool ideas for the spinoffs. I’m open to doing cool, creative, different work that I haven’t done before. It’s certainly a possibility as far as I can tell,” he said.

With five episodes left in the season, Power returns to Starz on Jan. 5.

Strictly Come Dancing star Will Bayley has tearfully voiced fears for his sporting future after he quit the show following a horrific knee injury earlier in the week.

The Paralympic table tennis star, 31, who participated in the competition series with professional dancer Janette Manrara for six weeks, spoke to The Sun about his worries for the forthcoming Paralympics in Tokyo next summer.

He said: ‘If I have to miss Tokyo it would be devastating. I’m at the top of my career’, shortly before lashing out at judge Craig Revel Horwood for calling his dance ‘stiff’ despite the fact he ‘has no ankles’

Heartache: Strictly Come Dancing star Will Bayley has tearfully voiced fears for his sporting future after he quit the show following a horrific knee injury earlier in the week

Will was forced to pull out of the competition after an agonising knee injury left him unable to train. He confirmed the devastating news on Wednesday’s edition of BBC sister show It Takes Two after tearing his ligament during rehearsals last week.

Speaking to Zoe Ball about his departure, Will struggled to contain his emotions as he broke down in tears during the exit interview, and went onto praise partner Janette for transforming him into a dancer.

During the emotional interview, Will admitted he was ‘gutted’ to have withdrawn from the competition due to his injury, adding: ‘I’m just really gutted we had such a good run and I was loving it, it’s all been a bit… It it was just shocking as well.’

Now speaking out about his pain, he admitted he is living in fear of his future in next year’s Paralympics, he said: ‘If I have to miss Tokyo it would be devastating. I’m at the top of my career…

Out of the game: Will was pictured on Wednesday wearing his leg brace before revealing the news of his departure from the show

Shock: The Paralympic table tennis star, 31, who participated in the competition series with professional dancer Janette Manrara for six weeks, spoke to The Sun about his worries for the forthcoming Paralympics in Tokyo next summer

‘I’ve played four major tournaments this season and I’ve won three gold medals. I’m the best player in the world at the moment…

‘So this is just massively scary to have this injury at this moment. It’s only just starting to sink in. I’ve got an ACL tear, so I have to wait six weeks and if it doesn’t improve I may then need surgery, which could be six months out. I can’t believe it.’

Will admits the first thought he had when he fell was about the Paralympics – which take place from August 25th to September 6th 2020 – and he has been in ‘agony’ with the injury.

Pained: He said: ‘If I have to miss Tokyo it would be devastating’ (pictured at Class 7 Mens Singles Table Tennis Gold Medal Match, during the fifth day of the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games)

Struggled: The injury has caused him to depart the show and may require surgery

He said: ‘I’m so gutted. I was just in total shock. It has been a traumatic four days for me. I knew I had felt my knee pop and I was in agony…

‘I’m not going to lie, the second I landed and felt it I thought ‘Tokyo’ but thought I’d get some physio, rest it for a day, and be back dancing next week.

‘I can take pain, I’ve been in pain all my life, but I screamed in agony and the next day I couldn’t do anything, so alarm bells started ringing.’

Pained: He spoke about his fears for his sporting career shortly after emerging with the leg brace after his heartbreaking injury

Oh dear… As well as revealing his fears, he also hit out at judge Craig Revel Horwood for calling his dance ‘stiff’ despite the fact he ‘has no ankles’

Will – who has arthrogryposis in all four limbs, which resulted in operations to have his bones being broken and reset as a child – was glad the judges didn’t ‘feel sorry for [him]’ throughout the series.

Despite this, in questioned one of Craig Revel Horwood’s comments about him being ‘too stiff’, insisting there isn’t much he can do about it.

He added to the newspaper: ‘Craig said things to me like I should be improving, and I should have, but he also said I was too stiff. I mean I have no idea how I’m supposed to do that – I don’t have any ankles, so obviously I can’t do rise and fall.’

On the up! He came out fighting as he left the studio in jubilant fashion after revealing his departure

Pained: While announcing his leaving the show on Wednesday, Will was shown a highlights reel from his time dancing with Janette, during which he struggled to contain his emotions and broke down in tears

While announcing his leaving the show on Wednesday, Will was shown a highlights reel from his time dancing with Janette, during which he struggled to contain his emotions and broke down in tears.

He told Zoe: ‘It’s really gutting I didn’t want it to end like this, even if we went out next week or whatever I just didn’t want to end it like this.

‘I had so many positive things as well I want to focus on, I never thought I could do half the stuff I owe Janette so much, I was really scared about embarrassing myself but she really believed me.’

Reflecting on his highlight throughout the series, both he and Janette agreed that their contemporary performance is one they would never forget.

Heartache: ‘I’m not going to lie, the second I landed and felt it I thought ‘Tokyo’ but thought I’d get some physio, rest it for a day, and be back dancing next week’ (pictured while playing Paul Salmin of Brazil during the National Paralympic Day at the Olympic Park on September 7, 2013)

‘The last one we did was just so special it was just amazing, I just understood the dance and every single step meant so much,’ he said.

Janette added: ‘It’s not how we wanted to end it but we ended it on such a high and that dance is the reason why I dance.

‘We dance to touch people inspire people motivate others and Will is the epitome of that and his journey on the show goes to show that anything is possible and that’s the message I think we need to leave on this show.’

Touching: Janette then took to Twitter to share a tribute to Will,  with a snap of the glitter-ball trophy they were gifted by a young patient when they visited Great Ormond Street hospital

Will also insisted that his disability had nothing to do with the injury, saying to Zoe: ‘It’s not because I’ve got a disability, it can happen to anyone, it’s just unlucky.

‘[Janette] deserves so much credit for what she’s done for me it’s all down to Janette she’s worked miracles, she’s not just dancing with someone who’s never danced before and believe in me when a lot of people didn’t.’

The pro then ended things by saying to her partner: ‘Like I said you have such an enthusiasm and determination in life, the things you survived in our childhood is itself a a testament to the kind of person you are.

Tragic: Ahead of Will’s It Takes Two appearance it was confirmed by Strictly bosses that he had been forced to pull out of the show

‘Thank you for putting your heart and soul into every single step and being one of the best partners I could have ever asked for on the show.’

Following their appearance, Janette took to Twitter to share a sweet tribute to her celebrity partner, alongside a snap of the glitter-ball trophy they were gifted by a young patient when they visited Great Ormond Street hospital.

Janette wrote: ‘I had to post this photo again because it represents everything that I feel right now. @willbayleytt will always be my champion! He came on this show to share a very special message & every single week through his hard work & determination he did exactly that.

Amazing: The Paralympic star had plenty of praise for his professional partner Janette, gushing: ‘I was really scared about embarrassing myself but she really believed me’

‘In my eyes, that is truly winning! You inspired so many & most of all me! Thank you for being so incredible every week & and giving your absolute EVERYTHING! I’m sending all the positive energy your way now for a speedy recovery.

‘And a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported us & sent such lovely messages! I love you Will, & forever and always… #WeGotThisChamp.’

Will’s future on the show had been put in jeopardy when he fell to the ground during rehearsals with dancer Nancy Xu on Friday.

Media personality Will and choreographer Janette, 35, didn’t perform on last week’s Halloween special – where contestant Catherine Tyldesley was eliminated – on doctor’s orders.

Admitting he was ‘gutted’ to miss the show, he tweeted on Saturday: ‘Hi everyone, I am absolutely gutted I cannot be performing tonight on strictly with Janette.

‘Sadly, I’m injured and not fit to dance. I hope to be back on the dance floor next week. Good luck to everyone tonight. Thanks for all your messages guys, ill be back!!’ [sic].

It will take days to recover plane that crashed into NJ home

Federal officials said it could take days to fully recover the wreckage of a small Cessna plane that crashed into a quiet New Jersey neighborhood Tuesday, killing the pilot and damaging three homes.

“It will be a piece by piece effort, and we expect it to take about two or three days,” National Transportation Safety Board investigator Adam Gerhardt said at a briefing at the scene in Woodbridge Township. “Given the weather conditions, it may take longer.”

Pilot and professional cardiologist Michael Schloss, 74, was killed when his Cessna 414A crashed into the Woodbridge community of Colonia.

No other fatalities or injuries were reported.

Paul Dudley, the director of Linden Ariport in New Jersey, where Schloss was scheduled to land, called him “a Renaissance man” who was also a licensed airplane mechanic.

“This is a loss to medicine and to aviation,” Dudley said. “There should be more like him.”

Fellow pilot Tom Madden called Schloss “a top-shelf man.”

Schloss had a cardiology practice in Manhattan, but residents in the Kips Bay neighborhood said Wednesday that he sold the building about a year ago.

His family could not be reached for comment.

The NTSB  said the recovery of the plane is “a challenge” because of the craft’s condition.

Small passenger planes do not carry a “black box,” but Gerhardt said most carry flight logs — if it survived the crash.

He said a final report on the cause of the crash could take up to two years.

Will BTS add a new member if Jin joins the military?

K-pop group BTS might have a shorter shelf life than most probably thought. However, it’s not due to lack of fan support or infighting. In South Korea, from which the boy band hails, men between the ages of 18 and 28 are required to serve at least 21 months in the military. While that might not seem like an amount of time that could make or break a career, BTS has accomplished quite a bit in their last 21 months. In a little under two years, the boy band became the first-ever best K-pop winners at the VMAs, broke YouTube records, and made history as the first K-pop group to be nominated for a Grammy.

Given all that can be done in 21 months (well, at least if you’re an international superstar), it’s probably very scary for any of the members of BTS to even think about having to bow out of the group during their meteoric rise — but that’s the reality for the oldest member of the group, Jin. The singer-songwriter will turn 28 in 2020, meaning that he has delayed his mandatory service as long as possible. With Jin’s inevitable departure on the horizon, is BTS considering swapping him out for a newer model?

When it comes to BTS, there's no "Boy With Luv" left behind

The BTS Army can breathe easy because it doesn’t seem like Jin will be getting the boot when his boots hit the ground for service. In 2018, the group extended their contract with management company Big Hit Entertainment through 2026, as reported by Forbes. That means the company knows the members will be undergoing hiatuses over the new few years, but will work to keep the momentum going and “provide systematic support and investment” to the group (via Forbes). The seven-member boy band has achieved success together and it seems like Big Hit’s thought process is if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. “It is our philosophy that we should cater the best to artists who’s achieving an unprecedented global success,” the management company stated, as noted by Billboard

While the band could technically all enlist together, they haven’t given any indication that they will go forward with it until they absolutely have to — plus, that would leave a BTS-sized gap in the world for some time. However, fans have come up with for the group to deal with the mandatory enlistment that, despite staggered enlistment years, have all the boys back together again by 2028.

Despite his impending departure, Jin seems to be at peace with what has to be done. “As a Korean, it’s natural,” Jin told CBS Sunday Morning in April 2019. “And, someday, when duty calls we’ll be ready to respond and do our best.” However, not all members are fully ready to accept the future. The youngest BTS member, Jungkook, added, “I don’t want to think about it at this point. We have something really good going.”

In addition to enjoying huge success as a group, some of the boys have also enjoyed solo success from mixtapes and collaborations over the years. This self-sufficiency proves they can survive the upcoming enlistments by focusing on solo and small group endeavors until they are all back together again. And if they ever really feel like they need to throw someone else in there, Halsey seems like the perfect interim member — she’s already got the choreography down pact.

The Real Reason Disney Will Spend $200 Million On Just 1 Disney+ Marvel Show

Saying that Marvel movies aren’t cheap is like saying that water is wet. The catering budget on Avengers: Endgame was probably more than the budgets for entire independent movies. The entire cost for Endgame was between $300 and $400 million.

Granted, that movie was in profit by week two or three. But how do you account for profits when you’re making TV shows where ticket sales aren’t a factor? Marvel Studios is going to the small screen with several shows for Disney+.

But can even Marvel make a profit when just one of their shows costs $200 million? And it’s Hawkeye, of all things?

The MCU has many expensive shows coming up

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. WandaVision. Loki. What If? Hawkeye. Just one of these shows would represent a major investment for any company, and Disney/Marvel has five of them coming between 2020 and 2021 to Disney+

And that’s not even all of them. Marvel has announced at least three other shows are in the works: She Hulk, Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel. There’s no doubt the company can afford it, given the billions the company has made, but is this sustainable?

Disney certainly seems to think it’s possible, because the company is betting the farm on Disney+. CEO Bob Iger calls it the single most important venture the entire company has embarked on in some time. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the company has invested $2.6 billion solely for the technology to make Disney+ reach millions of homes.

The streaming service is a large part of the reason Disney purchased its competitor 20th Century Fox. We’re already starting to see the fruits of that, since the 1947 Fox holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street, will be on Disney Plus.

‘Hawkeye’ costs that much?

Still, many an eyelid batted when reports came out that Hawkeye by itself was going to cost $200 million. An effects-heavy show like WandaVision might justify the lofty price tag, but Hawkeye, with its emphasis on physical action, doesn’t seem to.

As Collider put it, “Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, WandaVision and Hawkeye (cost as)  much as $25 million per episode, totaling $500 million, though how you spend $200 million on Hawkeye alone is anyone’s guess.”

Here’s where things get technical. As much as Disney aims to become a new streaming leader, they’re very much following the Netflix playbook in that Disney pays its talent more money upfront to get them on board so that they can then take advantage of lucrative backend deals.

A 25-year-old show like Seinfeld still rakes in the bucks because of the deals they make to keep airing in perpetuity. A certain company just spent $500 million to acquire Seinfeld, and that company is Netflix.

Disney+ won’t stay cheap forever

Many people expressed surprise at Disney’s $6.99  price point. And considering the treasure trove of movies the company has going back more than 80 years, that’s a great deal no matter how you crunch your numbers.

Surely that price can’t stick that way for long, which is why a number of people have signed long-term contracts to lock in that low price for a few years. While Netflix remains the streaming leader, a great hue and cry always erupts when their prices go up, even though $12.99 for all they offer isn’t a bad deal either.

The same thing is bound to happen when Disney goes from $6.99 to, say, $10.99 a month.

We may soon be entering a wonderland of streaming content with Disney+ by itself, but even though Disney is starting as a large fish, a lot more fish are going to be joining the pond, including HBO Max and Universal’s Peacock.

And even more are surely on the way. Somebody has to pay for all that programming. And it won’t all be the providers.

Speaker Bercow WILL stand down tomorrow despite Brexit being delayed and fresh election

JOHN Bercow has refused to stay on as Speaker for two extra days – to boost the chances of a Remainer ally replacing him in the powerful role before the election.

Remainer MPs want to elect Mr Bercow's replacement before the election because they fear that leaving it until afterwards would risk a Brexiteer being elected by a Tory majority Commons.

The election to replace Mr Bercow is due to take place on Monday.

But Tory MPs have asked him to stay on for an extra two days to stop the bizarre scenario of appointing a Speaker for just one day – before Parliament shuts down for the election campaign on Tuesday.

Tories fear that going ahead with the Speaker election could help the veteran Labour MP and arch-Remainer Harriet Harman win the race to replace him.

Mr Bercow's spokesman confirmed to The Sun today that he will step down as Speaker as planned tomorrow – defying calls to stay on for another two more working days.

That will force the election for his replacement to go ahead on Monday.

Mr Bercow's spokesman said: "Mr Speaker's last day in the chair as Speaker is 31 October – as he informed the House in his statement on 9 September.

"He is not standing again as as Member of Parliament."

But it means the new Speaker will take the green chair for just one day, enabling them to a life-long gold-plated pension even if they aren't re-elected when MPs return in December.

Will 'Hocus Pocus 2' Proceed Without the Original Cast?

The news is out: the campy Halloween film turned cult classic, Hocus Pocus, will, at last, receive its long-awaited sequel. The original Hocus Pocus starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as three sister witches: The Sanderson Sisters. Though burned at the stake in 17th century Salem, the witches return when innocent young Max — a teenager too mature to be fooled by all the town’s spooky folklore — lights the black flamed candle.

With the Sanderson Sister back in town, Max, his younger sister Dani, and local Allison Shaw must team up (with help from a talking cat) to prevent the witches from sucking the life forces from all the youth in town. On paper, the movie may sound a bit frightening, yet song and dance, ridiculous humor, and memorable antics make for a perfectly harmless and hokey Halloween tale.

‘Hocus Pocus 2’ possible storyline…

Spoiler alert: By the end of the 1993 movie, the witches are defeated, and the kids emerge unscathed (mostly). So, how the second movie will progress remains unknown. One possible script (posted on Reddit) to be taken with a grain salt, stated:

I remember a while ago an old draft of the sequel that was circulating had a museum worker accidentally summon/resurrect the Sanderson sisters mom, to be played by Cloris Leachman. Then she casts a spell that brings her 3 daughters back. Tells them same BS about rounding up as many kids as possible for the potion. But Winnie just wants revenge and sets out to find Max and his family, now living in NYC. Hilarity ensues. Mary gets lost in Macys. Sarah’s still slutty. And Winnie ends up on broadway (perfect for bette).

Who knows, maybe this story, with a few adjustments to account for a new filmic age and the years between the two installments, will come to audiences who have been craving a second film since Bette Midler’s buck-toothed performance of “I Put a Spell on You.” However, is the original cast returning for the sequel? Will the original cast be back to dazzle and spellbind us with their brilliant on-screen chemistry and campy contagious energies?

What we know about ‘Hocus Pocus 2’ so far: the cast has yet to be confirmed

Hocus Pocus 2 has been confirmed as a TV movie, which will premiere on Disney+ — the media conglomerate’s upcoming streaming platform. Disney+ has hired Workaholics writer and co-producer Jen D’Angelo to pen the script, according to Vulture.

Back in 2017, when Hocus Pocus 2 rumors began to surface, it was all but understood that the original cast would not return. However, it appears that Disney plans to get back the original Sanderson Sisters if possible.

Considering the movie has already been confirmed, it’s likely that Disney will proceed with or without Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy. Yet, Disney should think before making such a blasphemous choice.

Such a move would be the film’s greatest mistake, as it is not the film itself that won over fans, but the leads’ performances and the way their characters filled out hearts. Let us not forget, the movie is a cult classic that opened to poor initial critical and audience reception. Introducing new cast members to an already rough narrative history may not be the brightest first step. Recreating cult status is no easy feat, and may not even be possible, but bringing back Bette Midler as Winifred would certainly help.

Apple's iPhone SE 2 will hit shelves in late March, analyst claims

Apple’s budget-friendly iPhone SE 2 is set to hit shelves in late March, analyst claims

  • A major Apple analysts says the firm’s iPhone SE 2 will be released in March
  • Previous reports suggest the phone will cost $399
  • The budget device will be available in 64 GB and 128 GB and several colors

Rumors continue to percolate about Apple’s anticipated iPhone SE successor.

According to yet another report from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has often correctly foretasted Apple’s yet-to-be-released hardware, the phone will hit the market as soon as March 2020 after going into production in January.

Kuo previously predicted a first quarter of 2020 release for the phone, but this is the first time anyone has projected a specific month.

MacRumors reports that the potential release would coincide with Apple’s past product launch schedule for more affordable devices. The first iPhone SE, which was unveiled in 2016, also went on sale in late March.

The iPhone XR (pictured above) is among Apple’s newest ‘budget’ offerings, despite retailing at a rather hefty $599. A rumored iPhone SE 2 is anticipated to cost $399

A more specific release date follows several other details released forecast by Kuo, including a price tag that makes the phone a full $300 less than Apple’s newly release premium device, the iPhone 11.

Kuo says the next iteration Apple’s iPhone SE will cost $399 and come in three distinct colors and two storage tiers – a 64 GB version and a 128 GB version.

Colors are expected to include space gray, silver, and product red, according to 9to5Mac.

The iPhone SE 2 will reportedly be similar to the design of the iPhone 8 but will come with Apple’s newest processor, the A13 Bionic – the same chip included in both new iPhone 11’s – despite having 1GB less RAM than Apple’s premium models.

Kuo says the phones will likely be positioned as a way to entice iPhone owners still using the company’s older models, particularly the iPhone 6 and 6s, who cannot afford the company’s $700 iPhone 11.

On top of a new budget phone, Kuo has also forecast that Apple will be partnering with ‘third-party brands’ to sell it’s first-ever augmented reality headset.

Apple has long been rumored to be developing its own pair of AR glasses. The tech giant has filed a patent this year that gives a glimpse into what it may be developing behind closed doors

There’s still no word on exactly what form the headset will take or whether it will fall closer to Facebook’s glasses on the spectrum or something bulkier like Microsoft’s Hololens.

Kuo has also referenced the possibility of a new iPad Pro which could come equipped with 3D sensor similar to a True-Depth feature in iPhones.

This feature allows the device to capture more of the environment around subjects in photos and video and could help future efforts at improving augmented reality experiences on the device.

Alex’s solid performance also earned a positive reception from the judging panel, who agreed that it was her best dance yet.

Motsi gushed: ‘Alex I have to give it to you! I have to say I just watched you there, shouting at Kevin, changing a partner getting it on performing, really honestly that was a great performance for you. Your skills is just double what we’ve had since the beginning.’

Later in the show, Claudia spoke to Will’s professional partner Janette Manrara who couldn’t hide her disappointment as he had been looking forward to dancing the Jive.

During the show she also took to Instagram to write: ‘I love you so much @willbayleytt …. I will truly miss dancing the jive w/ you tonight, but let’s hope for the BEST & that you get better ASAP so that we can dance once again next week! #WeGotThisChamp #YourMyLittleFighter #TeamPocketRacket.’

Neil also tweeted: ‘I’m gutted tonight I won’t be able to dance because I was injured earlier today but I know @AlexScott ill smash it tonight, she’s worked hard all week and she’s in safe hands with @kevinclifton #strictly #teamred.’

Viewers at home also struggled to contain their disappointment, with one even hinting the Halloween special must be cursed.

Oh dear! Fans of the show were saddened that two stars were forced to pull out, with some hinting the Halloween show must be cursed

Despite the injuries, it soon became clear that the show had to continue, with the other ten couples hoping to wow viewers with their latest performance.

It was Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice who were top of the leaderboard with 39 points at the end of the show, after earning three tens with their Addams Family-themed Foxtrot.

Supported by Giovanni’s girlfriend Ashley Roberts in the audience, the dancing were praised for the phenomenal dance, with Motsi saying: ‘That was sensational and for my my little dancing heart was very happy, I don’t need them all the time what I do need, puts the music out there put the love out there. I got what I wanted that was out of this world.’

Ever the critic, Craig struggled to find anything negative in the dance, but eventually said: ‘I was desperately looking for something wrong with it and I actually found one little thing – a little bit of gapping. I absolutely loved it. It was gorgeous.’

Sensational: Despite the injuries, Strictly’s Halloween Special continued as planned, and it was Michelle Visage and Giovanni Pernice who were top of the leaderboard with 39 points at the end of the show, after an Addams family-themed Foxtrot

Stunning: The pair were highly praised for their ‘phenomenal’ dance which earned them their first tens and the highest score of the series so far

First to take to the floor in Saturday’s special were Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke, who performed a hot and spicy Tango with a classical twist to Foccata and Fugue in D Minor by Bach.

Dressed as the Queen and King from a deck of cards, the pair impressed with the elegant routine, with Bruno Tonioli particularly praising the wacky concept.

He gushed: ‘It was like the dynastic marriages of convenience, great concept I love it was like Isabella, she just fight against him at the end she gets the throne, I love the concept.’

Sensational: Despite the injuries, it soon became clear that the show had to continue, with Emma Barton and Anton Du Beke being the first couple to take to the dance-floor

Strong: Dressed as the Queen and King from a deck of cards, the pair impressed with the elegant routine, with Bruno Tonioli particularly praising the wacky concept. They scored 28 points out of 40

Motsi Mabuse also suggested that Anton needs to push Emma with more and more challenging routines, saying: I was watching that I thought this choreography is very complicated, and you guys worked together the whole you only let go at the end and through all of that you kepy great posture.

‘I just feel like I love that if you could just push it more just a little bit more energy than you would shut the competition down.’

The EastEnders star still earned a solid score with 28 points out of 40.

Energetic: Up next were Emma Weymouth and Aljaz Skorjanec, who were taking inspiration from the iconic board game Cluedo with a funky flapper Charleston to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie feat. Q-Tip and GoonRock

Struggling: After earning their highest score yet last week, Emma was told she needed to ‘let go’ more in such a slapstick-themed routine, but they still scored 30 points out of 40

Up next were Emma Weymouth and Aljaz Skorjanec, who were taking inspiration from the iconic board game Cluedo with a funky flapper Charleston to A Little Party Never Killed Nobody by Fergie feat. Q-Tip and GoonRock.

After earning their highest score yet last week, Emma was told she needed to ‘let go’ more in such a slapstick-themed routine, with Craig Revel-Horwood saying: ‘I thought it was lacking in energy this dance is about being goofy, your step was lame darling, you really have to put ten times the energy into it.’

But Bruno – who returned to the show after a taking a break last week – hit back by saying: ‘You should do this in every library in the country books will fly off the shelves. A flapper for Tatler there’s nothing wrong with that!’

Emma and Aljaz’s solid performance was reflected with a score of 30 points out of 40.

Daring: Third to take to the floor were Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer, who were dressed as zombies to dance a Samba to the Backstreet Boys’ classic Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)

Strictly Horror Story: While Craig admitted Chris’ hips ‘needed some WD40,’ Bruno said that it was strangely enjoyable. They scored 23 points that left them at the bottom of the leaderboard

Third to take to the floor were Chris Ramsey and Karen Hauer, who were dressed as zombies to dance a Samba to the Backstreet Boys’ classic Everybody (Backstreet’s Back).

Despite making it through the routine, Karen did suffer a hilarious blunder when her wig flew off at the end of the dance.

While Craig admitted Chris’ hips ‘needed some WD40,’ Bruno said that it was strangely enjoyable.

He added: ‘I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything so good in a horrible way ever before. Somehow the whole thing worked in a kooky way. But you have to remain constant, timing timing timing. You concentrate on the music listen to the music concentrate on the beat.’

The dance meant Chris and Karen ended the show with a score of 23 points that left them at the bottom of the leaderboard.

Non-stop: After topping the leaderboard last week, Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard were hoping to make lightning strike again, with a Sabrina-theme jive to Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police

Progress: The dance certainly cast a spell over the judges, who praised her consistent improvement and they scored 33 points out of 40

After topping the leaderboard last week, Saffron Barker and AJ Pritchard were hoping to make lightning strike again, with a Sabrina-theme jive to Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic by The Police.

The pair proved that their skills were consistently improving, with Shirley praising: ‘Your magic is improving every single week, but let me give you a few pointers.

‘You’re slightly in front of the music and as the competition develops we need you spot on the beat, I understand he’s a strong chappie you’ve got to tidy things up a little bit.’

Craig added: ‘That’s the first dance I’ve enjoyed it, it’s put a smile on my face darling.’

Saffron and AJ’s mystical spell over the judges proved to be a success, and they scored 33 points out of 40.

Down the dancing hole: Meanwhile Mike Bushell and Katya Jones were determined to bounce back from the dance-off last week, and the pair danced an Alice In Wonderland-themed Tango to What You Waiting For by Gwen Stefani

Mystical: The kooky dance surprised the judges with some solid steps, with the panel praising Mike for his relentless training after coming close to elimination last week. They scored 26 points out of 40

Meanwhile Mike Bushell and Katya Jones were determined to bounce back from the dance-off last week, and the pair danced an Alice In Wonderland-themed Tango to What You Waiting For by Gwen Stefani.

The kooky dance surprised the judges with some solid steps, with the panel praising Mike for his relentless training after coming close to elimination last week.

Bruno said: ‘I was pleasantly surprised I was expecting a bouncing march hare. You were really going for a proper Tango, with a lot of care and attention of the footwork, you were giving marching orders all the way though, you lost your footing a couple of times. A couple of things that didn’t work but you’re going in the right direction.’

Mike and Katya’s score was certainly an improvement on last week, and they received 26 points out of 40.

$2,900 robotic dog AIBO will operate smart appliances in your home

Sony’s $2,900 robotic dog AIBO will soon be able to turn on microwaves, flick the switch on the vacuum cleaner and bark when the washing machine is done

  • After an update, Sony’s Aibo robot dog can communicate with smart appliances
  • Aibo can turn on the microwave, vacuum, or bark when the laundry’s done
  • The new features use home wifi to connect Aibo to your devices

If you’ve ever thought turning on your microwave or vacuum cleaner was too hard, the solution may be as easy as spending $2,900 on a robotic dog that will do it for you.

That’s the operating theory behind Aibo, a robotic pet canine created by Sony, which was released last year.

Sony has been continually adding features to Aibo and the latest features will allow the small robotic dog to communicate with a range of household smart appliances to help make life easier for its owners.

Scroll down for video

Aibo (pictured above) can wirelessly communicate with smart appliances like an autonomous vacuum cleaner to help make chores easier for its owners

According to a report from Gizmodo, Sony hosted a demonstration of the new features at the CEATEC show in Tokyo, Japan’s largest IT and electronics trade show.

One example showed Aibo communicating wirelessly with a smart microwave, telling it to start cooking a snack as soon as its owners come home from a long day.

Aibo will also receive a signal from a smart washer or dryer and begin barking to alert its owners when the laundry is done.

Perhaps most importantly, Aibo can command an autonomous vacuum cleaner to turn on and will even climb on top and pose for cute pictures.

Earlier this year, Sony tried to rebrand Aibo as a guard dog, partnering with a Japanese security firm Secom to use the dogs cameras and microphones to surveil one’s home while they’re out, for a $14 monthly fee.

Depending on the configuration, a single Aibo can cost as much as $3,000.

Its onboard AI and facial recognition tools enables it to store names and faces for up to 10 people, and it will periodically take loving selfies of people in the home and send them to other family members.

Aibo (pictured above) can also interface with microwaves, washing machines, driers, and refrigerators

‘You will be able to check how remote family members are doing or what children are doing when they get home,’ Aibo’s Izumi Kawanishi said of the robot’s new security functionality.

‘We aim to make you feel a bit more secure by living with Aibo and having fun.’

Sony said the company has shipped 20,000 units of Aibo since January this year.

Sony rolled out the first-generation AIBO in June 1999, with the initial batch of 3,000 selling out in just 20 minutes, despite the hefty 250,000 yen (more than $2,000 or £1,500) price tag.

Over the following years, more than 150,000 units were sold, in numerous iterations, ranging from gleaming metallic-silver versions to round-faced cub-like models.

By 2006, however, Sony’s business was in trouble and the AIBO, an expensive and somewhat frivolous luxury, had to go.

Last year, Sony revived AIBO with a new version of the 30-centimetre (one foot) hound which costs around £1,300 ($1,750).

AIBO is billed as a pet that behaves like a puppy using artificial intelligence (AI) to learn and interact with its owner and surroundings.

Sony has revived AIBO, a robot that learns how to interact with its owner and is ‘capable of building loving relationships’, according to Sony CEO Kazuo Hirai. The new version of the 30-centimetre (one foot) hound will launch in Japan in January (pictured)

The reborn AIBO features new actuator technology allowing it move more smoothly and naturally like a real dog.

With sensing and AI technologies, AIBO can run toward its owner and detect smiles and words of praise, and can remember what actions please the owner.

Its eyes are made of organic light emitting diode (OLED) displays making it capable of diverse expressions.

The robot comes with an array of sensors, cameras and microphones and boasts internet connectivity, allowing owners to play with the pet remotely via smartphone.

Kanye West predicts he will be president and kicked porn habit

Kanye West reveals he predicts he will be US President, is no longer addicted to porn and asked album collaborators to abstain from sex in EXPLOSIVE new interview with Zane Lowe

Kanye West has made some bold claims including that he predicts that he will be US President in an explosive new interview.

The 42-year-old rapper sat down for an exclusive two-hour interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Beats 1 radio which was released on Thursday.

Other than his want to become the leader of the free world he made several other brazen statements including that he asked people collaborating to abstain from sex, he kicked an addiction to porn, and that there shouldn’t be NSFW content available to kids on social media.

Interesting: Kanye West has made some bold claims including that he predicts that he will be US President in an explosive interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Beats 1 radio released Thursday

The interview took place in Wyoming as Kanye said that he is working on the framework of a presidential run possibly in 2024.

The husband of Kim Kardashian said when he wins the election: ‘I will remember … any founder that didn’t have the capacity to understand culturally what we’re doing.’

It remains unclear what founders he was referring to but he did mention Facebook and Twitter bosses, Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey.

Kanye famously had a meeting with President Donald Trump at the Oval Office in October of last year.

He also met Donald Trump at Trump Tower in New York City back in December 2016 while he was president elect.

West also said that he used to be addicted to pornography before recently quitting the habit. Just last year he served as co-creative director for the PornHub Awards.

The Hell Of A Life hitmaker explained: ‘Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction. My dad had a Playboy left out at age five, and it’s affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life from age five to now, having to kick the habit.’

Kanye’s strive to be pure even drove him to request that those who collaborated on upcoming album Jesus Is King also do the same.

He said: ‘There’s times where I was asking people to not have premarital sex while they were working on the album.’

Somehow lost in the shuffle is that Kanye announced that a new album titled Jesus Is Born will be released on Christmas Day before Jesus Is King has been put out.

He said: ‘Sunday Service album, Jesus is Born, on Christmas is coming.’

How Natalie Portman Will React If Her Kids Are Interested in Acting

Natalie Portman and Benjamin Millepied will back their children no matter what career they choose.

“They’ll do whatever they want,” the choreographer, 42, told Us Weekly exclusively at the L.A. Dance Project Gala on Saturday, October 19. “I’m always there to support them and guide them with all the experience that I have now without being [pushy]. I didn’t have a pushy mother as a dancer, and I would be the same. Hopefully, [I’ll] give them the best foundation to succeed, to be happy.”

The actress, 38, who shares Aleph, 8, and Amalia, 2, with the dancer, went on to tell Us, “I feel so lucky that [Benjamin and I] … found our passions so young. That’s the best thing that you could hope, is for any child to have a passion for something and know it and be able to follow it so clearly. I think that’s a dream.”

She and Millepied tied the knot in 2012, one year after welcoming their son. When it comes to keeping the romance alive in their relationship while balancing two kids and successful careers, Portman admitted that carving out time can be “challenging.”

“Sometimes it doesn’t happen,” the Oscar winner told Us. “Sometimes you go weeks without having that time together. Sometimes you’re able to find the extra time and it’s a battle. I need tips on it as well. It’s something that everyone who’s in that cross-section of work and life understands. There’s no easy solution!”

When all four family members are together, Portman told Us exclusively in June 2018 that mealtimes are sometimes complicated since she’s vegan and her husband is not.

“My son has asked [Benjamin], ‘Why do you eat that and mommy doesn’t?’” the No Strings Attached star explained at the time. “And I talked to him about it. I think it’s very natural for children to relate to that stuff […] We tend to eat vegan and vegetarian food in the house [because I] make one thing that everyone eats for dinner. It becomes, like, normal stuff that kids get used to.”

The Cutting Boards That Will Live On Your Kitchen Counter

When you really boil it down, fancy kitchen appliances are luxuries, not necessities. Sure, having a food processor to slice, dice and mince your ingredients in a matter of seconds when you’re low on time and need to get dinner on the table stat is nice. However, similar to how some people still prefer driving a stick shift to an automatic, some home chefs would rather chop their own meat and produce. Sometimes, devices break and you need a backup plan. That’s when having a few cutting boards stashed away in a cupboard comes in handy.

Cutting boards are one of those kitchen staples that can seem so old-school when you put them next to all the new gadgets designed to reduce hands-on preparation. Yet no matter the latest technologies that go on and off trend, cutting boards are a constant and their simplicity is what makes them such a reliable tool. Since no kitchen is fully stocked without one, these are the best cutting boards we found on Amazon.

Our mission at SheKnows is to empower and inspire women, and we only feature products we think you’ll love as much as we do. Please note that if you purchase something by clicking on a link within this story, we may receive a small commission of the sale.

1. OXO Good Grips Utility Cutting Board

The first thing that jumped out at us about the OXO Good Grips Utility Cutting Boards was that they’re dual-sided. When you’re working with a bunch of different food groups (think meat and veggies), cross-contamination is definitely a concern. Rather than adding a second cutting board to your countertop and eating up work space, you can flip this cutting board over to the other side and continue preparations without pause.

Additional highlights include a juice groove on the edges of the board to minimize mess, as well as non-slip edges for easy grip and transportation around the kitchen. It’s also worth noting that the cutting board is made from polypropylene, a nonporous, odor-resistant and smooth surface that’s sturdy enough to sustain heavy, hard cuts from sharp knives.

2. Gorilla Grip Reversible Cutting Boards

Gorilla Grip’s Reversible Cutting Boards are ideal for party prep and easy cleanup once your guests have all gone home. Available in a whopping 23 vibrant colors, each set consists of three cutting boards: a large 16” x 11.2”, a medium 13.8” x 9.6” and a small 11.8” x 8” size.

They each feature a juice-catching trough around the perimeter, are sturdy enough that they won’t slide when you’re forced to get tough on hard-to-chop foods and are dishwasher safe.

3. Nicole Home Collection Colorful Kitchen Cutting Boards

It might sound contradictory to mention plastic when we’re talking about operating sharp cutlery, but these cutting boards from Nicole Home Collection don’t slice easy. Made from a BPA-free, antimicrobial material that’s 100 percent non-toxic, this set of three plastic cutting boards is lightweight but super durable. The brand guarantees the surface won’t retain odors or dull your knives and is also dishwasher safe.

Will MPs accept Boris Johnson's new Brexit deal? Latest odds for Saturday's Parliament sitting vote

IT'S been less than 24 hours since Boris Johnson's new Brexit deal was agreed to by EU chiefs.

But will MPs accept the deal and what are the latest odds of that happening? Here's the latest.

Follow our live blog for latest updates from Saturday's emergency Commons sitting to vote on Boris Johnson's Brexit deal

Will MPs accept Johnson's new Brexit deal?

Boris Johnson is embarking on a 24-hour charm offensive to sell his “great new” Brexit deal, with 10 Labour rebels set to back him according to reports.

The PM faces a race against time ahead of Saturday’s showdown in the Commons after the DUP vowed to vote down his agreement.

Hardline Tory Brexiteers are letting Mr Johnson sweat over whether they will vote his Brexit plan – but the government is confident they can win the majority of the 28 ‘Spartans’ round.

The PM has also left the door open to restoring the whip to the 21 ex-Tory MPs he sacked last month for backing the Brexit-delaying Benn Act in another bid to boost his numbers.

Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab today refused to say if Conservatives voting against the deal would have the whip removed.

However, he also needs the support of Labour Brexiteers – with 10 ready to enrage Jeremy Corbyn by pushing the deal through, the Huffington Post reports.

What are the latest odds?

Leading bookmaker Coral makes it odds on, at 8-11, that MPs vote to accept the Withdrawal Agreement in the House of Commons vote on Saturday.

It is evens that they vote to reject it.

Coral's Harry Aitkenhead said: "It is going to be touch and go as to whether Boris can convince enough MPs to back his deal but the early indications from a betting point of view are that he might just manage it.

"We make it odds on that the deal is accepted."

Meanwhile 2020 is now the favourite, at 4-5, in the betting for the year of the next General Election.

An election this year has drifted out to 11-8.

Aitkenhead added: "We now make 2020 the clear favourite in the betting for the next General Election and hopes of one taking place this year are fading by the week."

What is the new Brexit deal?

The precise details of the new deal have yet to be explored, but ultimately it removes the risk of the UK being stuck in the customs union against its will, and gives Northern Ireland a veto on customs arrangements designed to avoid a hard border in Ireland.

The European Commission has published the full details of Boris Johnson's deal.

You can find the revised Withdrawal Agreement here.

This is a non-binding document which sets out the future relationship between the UK and the EU.

Driving in Europe after Brexit – will UK driving licences be valid and what's an International Driving Permit?

YOU may need one or more international driving permits (IDPs), depending on which country you’re visiting after Brexit.

An alarming 55 per cent of motorists are unaware they’ll need a motor insurance green card if they want to drive in Europe following a no-deal Brexit.

Will UK driving licences be valid in Europe after Brexit?

The government says that different rules will apply for international driving permits in EU countries.

Plus, drivers may have to carry multiple IDPs  – along with their UK driving licence – to move through an EU or EEA country/ies.

There are three types of IDP, and the type you need depends on the country you will be driving in:

  • 1926 IDP – you may need this to drive in Liechtenstein if there's a no-deal exit
  • 1949 IDP – valid for 12 months, this is required in the likes of Malta, Spain or Cyprus
  • 1968 IDP – for all other EU states

Don't forget that different rules apply, too, depending on how long you are visiting particular countries.

For example, when driving in France, you'll need to take your UK licence plus a '1968 IDP'.

When travelling through Germany, there's no need for an IDP for visits up to six months – if you have a UK photocard driving licence. Longer stays will require a 1968 IDP and your UK licence, however.

And in Malta, you won't need an IDP for visits up to 12 months, if you have a UK photocard driving licence.

For ex-pats currently living in the EU, the government says you must exchange your UK driving licence for a local EU one before Brexit and retest your vehicle in the EU country you live in.

You will still be able to drive on your EU licence when visiting the UK.

What is an International Driving Permit?

Recommended for around 140 countries worldwide, the IDP is recognised by the 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic and acts as temporary proof of driving ability for travellers.

An International Driving Permit isn’t the same as an International Driving Licence (IDL) – which isn’t a legally recognised document.

To apply for an IDP you must be over 18 and hold a valid UK driving licence.

How can you get an International Driving Permit?

Available from Post Offices and motoring organisations like the AA and RAC, the permit will cost drivers £5.50.

IDPs need to be applied for within three months of travelling abroad, and they aren't a legally recognised document on their own.

Drivers who fail to show both their UK licence and an IDP while overseas could face heavy fines.

Check what is required in the country you are visiting before travelling.

The Press Association reports that an alarming 55 per cent of motorists don't know they'll need a motor insurance green card if they want to drive in Europe following a no-deal Brexit.

UK-registered cars without a blue EU registration plate will also need to display a GB sticker when driving in EU countries.

Tech company will pay $130K to put your face on a line of robots

Here’s your chance to be the literal face of a robotics company.

A tech firm is looking for the right person to lend their likeness to a new line of robot assistants for the elderly. And while it might sound like the plot to a bad SyFy flick, the company will pay the chosen candidate about $130,000 for the privilege.

The privately funded firm has opted to remain anonymous due to the project’s “secretive nature,” but they have hired robotics recruiter Geomiq to find the right face for the job, reports the Mirror. Ideal applicants will possess a “kind and friendly face” for the prototype, per the head, er, face hunter’s recruitment ad. “It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the right person; let’s hope we can find them,” said a Geomiq spokesperson.

The lucky winner of the face-off will have their likeness reproduced on thousands of “virtual friends” — à la Will Smith’s disturbing 2004 movie “I, Robot” — as well as rake in the aforementioned big bucks. The project has been five years in the making.

Designers haven’t disclosed much beyond that, only that the robotic doppelgängers will hit the assembly line next year and will be “readily available to the public” upon completion.

On the application page, Geomiq acknowledges that licensing one’s visage to an unnamed robotics company for eternity is “potentially an extremely big decision.”

The face-cloning campaign has drawn flack from social-media skeptics, with many of them analogizing it to bad dystopian movie tropes. Janelle Monáe “warned us about this,” cautioned one.

Others wondered why a supposedly tech-savvy robotics company needed a human face at all and couldn’t just save money by using an online random-face generator. “Have these people ever heard of GANs?” asked one Twitter techie. “There are datasets with 100k realistic (but not real) faces available already.”

Why Blake Shelton Will Probably Never Propose to Gwen Stefani on ‘The Voice’

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are one of the hottest couples around, totally devoted to each other and never anything less than adorable together. Fans have been anticipating engagement or wedding news from Shelton and Stefani for quite some time, but there haven’t been any big announcements as of yet.

Still, with Shelton and Stefani dating for around four years now, and with Stefani just celebrating a milestone birthday, the time could be ripe for Shelton to pop the question. When he does, it probably won’t be anything very public and Shelton is not likely to propose to Stefani on The Voice

When did Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani start dating?

When Shelton first met Stefani, they were both married to other people. Shelton was married to fellow country singer Miranda Lambert, while Stefani had been with rocker husband Gavin Rossdale for thirteen years.

Shelton and Stefani were filming their reality competition show The Voice when they started bonding over the breakdown of their marriages. Soon, their friendship turned into something more and, by late 2015, rumors started circulating that they were an item.

By early 2016, Stefani and Shelton were attending red carpets together, and fans couldn’t get enough of their unlikely love story. In the years since, the powerhouse couple have been spotted everywhere from Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch to church with the family.

Both of them have raved about each other to news outlets, and Stefani has often called Shelton her “best friend.” The California rocker girl and the cowboy country singer are clearly made for each other, and their experiences with bad relationships in the past have only led them to the great place where they are now.

Although Shelton and Stefani don’t hesitate to fan out over each other when asked in interviews, their day to day life stays relatively under the radar. They don’t share many intimate photos of their everyday activities, clearly trying to keep their family life private.

In a recent interview, Stefani shared a few sweet details about her home life with Shelton, revealing the way they live is “really simple.” She stated that they plant vegetables and have chickens and that Shelton often surprises her with candy.

Will Blake Shelton propose to Gwen Stefani on ‘The Voice’?

Some fans have speculated that Shelton could propose to Stefani on The Voice. While it would be fitting in a way, considering they first met on the set of the show, it also seems a bit unlikely.

At one point on the show, fellow coach Alicia Keys asked the two of them about getting engaged on the show. Shelton asked Stefani if it would be “weird,” but Stefani laughingly said that it would be her “dream come true.”

Stefani was probably just joking, and while it would be a fun stunt to get engaged on the show, it seems a little too public for the two of them. Also, with as private as Stefani and Shelton both are, it would be a bit out of character for them to get engaged on a big TV show — even if the show does hold extreme sentimental value for the both of them.

A more appropriate proposal would likely be at Shelton’s home in Oklahoma or at a family day with Stefani’s three boys. It’s certain that fans would love being a small part of their engagement, so seeing Shelton propose to Stefani on The Voice would be an unforgettable moment for sure.

This hotel hanger hack will get you a better night’s sleep

Sleeping in a hotel can be hit or miss, but one thing many travelers loathe is that annoying gap in the curtains, which means they don’t quite eliminate the piercing light that can creep in when they’re trying to snooze. Whether it’s a parking lot light that’s shining inconveniently just outside your room or that ball of fire that can come up way too early in the morning, it’s definitely unwelcome when that blaze hits you right across your slumbering eyes.

Thankfully, there is an easy hack you can use to clamp those curtains so they’re actually tightly closed — closed so well, in fact, that nary a spark of light can shine through. It’s nothing more than your hotel hanger, a half dozen of which are hopefully waiting there for you in your room already.

How to use a hotel hanger to keep the light out

Hotel hangers usually include two clips to hang your pants on, and as Twitter user @rklau wrote, they just so happen to perfectly close the curtains, making a good night of sleep that much easier to obtain when you’re away from home. “I don’t remember who posted this on Twitter a few years ago, but whoever you are: you have improved every night I’ve spent in a hotel since,” he writes, noting that this isn’t the first time this particular hack has made its way to the masses via the social media platform.

If you have a particularly problematic situation, such as multiple gaps that one hanger won’t quite take care of, there are usually several hangers in your room’s wardrobe that you can use to seal off the blinding light. Even if your room doesn’t seem to have an issue at nighttime, but the curtains don’t close together nicely, it’s a good idea to clip them up to prevent that morning burn from waking you up before you’re ready.

Crack of light, begone — and all you need is a hanger (or two).
